Unreal wine list, and great meal at the restaurant. The fireplace in the room was enjoyable and the surround area is perfect.
Attractive room. Good spa bath. Very comfortable bed. Close proximity to the village shops and river walk. Very welcoming staff. Excellent Wi-fi. Log fire
Hair dryer didn't work. Tepid bath water. No separate shower. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Fire didn't draw so went out immediately kindling was burnt. Breakfast should have been included in the room rate. No menu on internet for dining room so only assume it was expensive. No fridge
Everything.. Food, service, room etc. couldn't they do anything about the rain?
There is no downside to staying at this hotel. We loved everything about it. The dining room food and service were both superb. The train adds to its charm. The flowers were all beautiful
This is a small, charming hotel dedicated to quality service. The hotel is beautiful and immaculately maintained. There are many areas to relax and enjoy mountain views, which are breathtaking. The rooms are wonderful and catered to traveler's needs, especially the fantastic beds! The dining options are varied and top of the line and guests can simply walk to other nearby options if they would like. The indoor pool is one of the loveliest I have ever seen and the whirlpool is relaxing after a long day of activities. You cannot go wrong staying at the Post Hotel & Spa. If you are looking for a unique, high class hotel, this is the destination for you.
A superb hotel and staff.
The Outpost alternative to fine dining was small and not in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The Lake Louise Inn equivalent was much, much better.
The hotel sits in a lovely setting. The room was extremely comfortable and quite spacious. The food in the restaurant was delicious. Enjoyed the spa also.
We visited the pub at the hotel but you couldn't access it via the hotel.
Location, Cleanliness, Concierge staff, Great room, comfort, adjoining pub for food and drink - much preferable to the main restaurant - see 'what didn't you like'.
Slightly stuffy feel to the place especially main restaurant - it seemed a bit inhibiting, pretentious and 'cold' in terms of welcoming. Front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly - like the Concierge guys- they were excellent. Noise transmission through floors and walls poor and heat/cool of room uncontrollable - possibly to be expected in an old style of building such as this - just be warned.
Expensive but high quality and excellent restaurant
Hotel well appointed, public spaces very comfortable - good pool, hot tub and steam room. Location good Food excellent
Maitre D in restaurant was not friendly and rather rude to staff.
clean helpful comfortable luxurious
Loved this hotel! Great location. Even though we were on the parking lot side with trains going by it was not noisy at all. The Room had great amenities and the Breakfasts were worth the money. Also, we ate at the Restaurant for dinner, bit pricey but was worth every bite. Delicious!!
Our large comfortable room had a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains and glacier. We also arrived around 10pm and were very pleased the pub was open and still serving comfort food.
The restaurant was great.
Large spacious room. Huge king size bed. Bright, clean modern bathroom and jacuzzi. Very attentive staff. Little things like daily bottle of water and a chocolate. Afternoon tea/coffee. Close to Lake Louise but away from the "maddening crowds".
Bit close to the train tracks but not noisy enough to disrupt my sleep.
Very comfortable and a great location close to highway so good for getting out and about.
The mattress was not as comfortable as I would have hoped.
Large rooms Good main restaurant Spa facility
Outside of hotel poor restaurant selection General town area looked a little tired Traffic a major problem as it was a holiday weekend
Incredible suite and views from the hotel. Welcome fruit basket. Aveda toiletries were lovely.
Overcrowded pub and slow beer service there at the bar. Coffee maker in the room wasn't working.
Top quality hotel - all details were thought of from high end toiletries to good quality beds, furnature, etc. Nice location near the river - but a distance away from the actual Lake. Great dining room - food was good. Staff was very good
High price - food in dining room was alo high priced - but you got a lot - could have ordered one lunch for 2 people.
Service is the outstanding feature décor was wonderful flower arrangements so beautiful great pool area extremely inviting and warm feel excellent restaurant and wine list
high season rates
Location, rooms, beds, staff were all very good
There were nominally 2 restaurant choices, the sports bar that was dingy, smelly and awful or a high cuisine restaurant with crazy pricing for food and wine. Pretentious and not that good for it to be so. Breakfast was similarly high priced.
A very enjoyable stay at a high class facility. The highlight of our trip to Canada.
