Other then traveling in the winter it was a nice B n B. Breakfast was amazing both days. Staff were happy to see us each morning.
Only a couple down sides. The heat made a whistling sound every time it was on. Super annoying. Ice cold floors in our room. And the whole place seemed to be in need of minor up keep. ie, loose taps and door knobs.
Food and service was great!
Thr bed was very uncomfortable, we had a really hard time sleeping.
The place was perfect, and though our stay was brief, the hospitality was warm, informal ,and relaxed. Great breakfast too. I would recommend the Post House Inn to anyone. Many thanks. David Bradley.
Can't think of anything.
Enjoyed our stay.
Heating can work LOT better. Wifi seemed a bit spotty.
Location, decorating, ambiance, value.
The sense of strictly business , get in and get out. Very superficial owner. Couldn't even adjust thermostat in rooms. They had them and I'm sure they'll make it a point they were there but regulated. Breakfast area was kept at a cool 66! The only reason we stayed was it was the only place available on short notice
Great location and friendly service.
They said there was a fireplace but it was just a portable electric cheep one that didn't work. The kingside bed was actually just two beds pushed together that was a bit wierd to sleep on. Breakfast was not traditional and kind of cold.
Owner and staff were wonderful and the room and setting were perfect for our honeymoon.
Charm, elegance, comfort, and beauty! The Post House Inn celebrates the quaint and lovely surroundings that are Niagara On The Lake. My son and I attend the Shaw every season and up till now have stayed in the larger more corporate hotels in the area, but when they were booked full the weekend we had tickets the local Chamber of Commerce directed us to Post House, what a delightful surprise! Located in the center of town, just a block away from all the major shops, theaters, and eateries, Post House will be our destination in Niagara On The Lake from now on. Great food, great hospitality, and a cute little dog too!
There was absolutely nothing we didn't love about the Post House Inn!
Amazingly acommodating staff!
We enjoyed the breakfast conversation around the huge dinning-room table, both with the owner and the other guests.
We didn't want to leave.
Very comfortable and convenient.
A little pricey.
Everything was great. Every b&b should have a PEGGY!!!
Having to leave!
Nice facility, great location. With a little effort this place could be great but while the reception was fine the breakfast leaves MUCH to be desired.
Breakfast was a thrown together mismash with store bought baked goods and coffee so weak it was undrinkable. it seems that the property is run by remote control with no one there for 20 hours a day. More profitable for the owners in the short run but repeat business at risk.
adjacent to main street and theatres so can walk everywhere, very friendly staff and owners, excellent breakfasts, very accomodating (rearanged furniture in room to make it easier for my 86 year old mother to move around with her walker!), parking on site, will definitely stay again if in area
pool closed for season a bit early
The pool area. Our room-stylish and spacious.
Bed was too high and pillows too hard . 9.30 is too late for breakfast.
Location / friendly, helpful staff
twin bed was too soft.
Very good location. Nice building.
Barbara was an excellent, knowledgable host. Bed was big and very comfortable.
healthy, gourmet breakfast. outgoing, helpful staff
late time (9.30) of breakfast
We were on the main floor; breakfast was delicious; proprietress was most cordial and helpful. We will stay there again when we return. Quiet.
Room was a bit dark.
We liked the location, the cleanliness, and the facilities.
We didn't like that there were dogs on the property. I am not a dog lover and especially don't like them around the eating area. I've stayed at many places in NOTL and felt that they were very overpriced. We've stayed at less expensive places that were more enjoyable and offered the same amenities. Also thought the staff chatted a little too much during breakfast. I doubt if we would consider them again.
Inn Keeper (Barbara) was a great hostess and provided us with many options for activities that were up our alley.
Pleasant helpful staff Good food Great location Fast wifi Beautiful town, excellent restaurants, many unique shops Terrific plays at Shaw theater Easy drive to Niagara Falls
Only problem was broken TV but the owner moved us to a larger room for a few days and back to original room for last night
