Staff was fantastic. Great location. Very clean. Excellent value.
The walls are a little thin but no big deal.
staff was very nice good location
not very sound proof
Central location. Nice Keurig coffee maker.
One small table lamp for entire room, no ceiling light. Smoke detector fallen to floor at arrival. Tiny TV. Drapes don't completely close. One 120v outlet available, glad I brought my own power bar.
great location, easy to walk downtown, quiet and comfortable bed great lounge area to cook own breakfast
economy room very small, floor sloped
Hot tub, perfect position of the hotel
The front desk is very helpful, they knew where the good spots to eat in town, and let us use the hot tub after it closed at 9
The hours of operation of the hot tub, only till 9, but they will allow you to use it after 9 if it's not being cleaned!
Welcome, helpful. Bonus community room with kitchen, TV, pool table, and hot wood burning stove.
The rooms were very spacious and comfortable.
The adjoining room was noisy both nights.
The rooms aren't fancy, but in Fernie, you should be outside anyway. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the common room with fireplace and pool table was really nice. The location is only about a 10-15 minute walk from downtown which is great.
The wifi was pretty bad - finally resorted to using a cellphone as a hotspot. The room was nothing special, but the price was right.
Need more than one chair per room
The only reason we booked this room was because there was nothing else available. It is located right on the hwy in Fernie. Wi-fi was provided and good.
The hotel is very dated. The room was very small and had a bad musty dirty smell. The carpets were dirty and the grout between the tiles was grungy. After 11 you must access the hotel through the back alley, not the safest option for my wife or anyone vulnerable. Definately not value for your money here.
Quiet room. Pool and hot tub. Would be a fun place for a group stay with the communal kitchen and barbecue.
Couldn't really find fault.
Facilty is showing its age. Needs to be updated.
Location, nice pool, great value.
Air conditioner is noisy.
Pool was closed. No air conditioning. Kinda grungy.
Breakfast was not included. Would have been nice to have a continental breakfast before our day of rafting!
Just quick overnighter on way to somewhere else . Front desk very nice and place clean. We forgot our pillows and she called to remind us just in time!
Hotel had a pool and the room looked similar to picture used to advertise the property.
The hotel had a plumbing issue and informed us not to use the water. Once it was repaired we did not get notified the plumbing was usable. We woke up and when we tried to shower there was no hot water. Room has no phone to call to main desk/operator to report problem. Also the room A/C (wall mounted window unit) leaked water back into the room while running. The trim around the unit was blistered and swollen and we had water running down the wall.No wonder the room had a funky smell... a mould trap for sure!
room not made up......for ur price we usually get breakfast even hot one
Great staff, very accomodating
The daytime staff was friendly and recommended places to eat and providing us with a guide. It was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy our breakfast.
It was a basic lodging and the price was higher than others that included breakfast.
We were happy with our stay -- it was quiet, clean and well-located. The woman at the front-desk was friendly and gave us good recommendations for food/drink and a nearby walk.
Nothing worthwhile -- overall we really enjoyed the stay. Considering it wasn't full we would have liked to have stayed further away from the stairs but that is a small quibble. The lack of breakfast (or the extent of guests' access to the kitchen off the reception area) could be better communicated.
Location very good, we missed the breakfast, but it smelled very good.
great family owned business
Good price, friendly staff, our room had a sweet view of Fernie Alpine Resort.
