breakfast variety price location close to downtown day staff friendly & accommodating bed was comfortable
very noisy at night inside & outside no electrical plug in bathrooms carpet stained needs updating shower no shelf to put soap products outside areas clutter & dirty very poor curb appeal when driving up to property
Room was clean. Decent end of summer rates. Free breakfast.
Parking is tight but free parking on the street so not a big deal.
Close to downtown, we walked where we needed to go. The value or our money was great, the breakfast had everything we needed, coffee, boiled eggs, waffles, fruit, yogurt.
A/C unit was very loud Can hear the hallways and neighbour room, no sound proof Shower get really hot then really cold if someone flushes the toilet!
Location was convenient to the town activities.
The hotel was a bit run down. We had trouble with the air conditioning but fortunately we were able to get the window opened. The microwave did not work.
The pub staff were fantastic! Great continental breakfast
If you are looking for a quiet place to rest your head for the night. Consider another option.
Big motel with a lot of rooms. Our room was clean with confortable bed.
The price and accommodation was fine.
One of the waffle makers broke and I had to wait 20 minutes to make my waffle.
location and price
bar was open really late and our room was right outside it so we heard noise till late.
- we asked for a quiet room and got one - all employees have been very kind and helpful
- internet was not working in our room at all. when we sat in the library, though, the connection was very good.
bed was comfortable, staff very helpful location very good
needs a facelift and would be very good rug old-needs replacing bed very comfortable breakfast-few options
central location-well managed-value for the money-nice continental breaky-
building could use some touch-ups
Staff are nice!
Pretty much everything I did not like...room was very tight and smelly and carpets looked super dirty and old, Wifi was pretty weak and hardly could do anything, no fridge in room, super loud ignorant guests around me keeping me up to 1:30 am and then up before 7 as weak floor boards and walls mixed in with inconsiderate people. Breakfast was just ok as a lot was stone cold like oatmeal. Yes a value motor inn BUT not much value if you do not sleep much.
spacious room making your own waffles at breakfast good advice from the staff
the noise of the airco
clean price staff
closeness to surrounding areas--used this resort as a base point for an exceptional 2 day adventure tour!
sadly this place could use a total updating and reno--kinda outdated and old...definitely need new linens -- get rid of the 'old' bedspreads. Noise from Bar below was a bit much...
Fine place to stay
Only issue- bathroom door needed cleaning and painting as did side entrance door.
Nothing fancy, but good value for money
Continental breakfast was good and included in the room cost. Wi-Fi reception was excellent. Staff recommended that we take short walk downtown to take in the local festivities which were enjoyable.
Room is in need of major renovation.
Good price, also (unexpected) pleasant summer-evening downtown location, with browsing, restaurant choices and street events. A nice evening.
Smelly hallway (overpowering, like mildewing laundry), no smell in our room, though; room appeared adequately clean but unimpressive bathroom.
RAin in morning
Low price, included breakfast was ok.
Does not attract the best clientele and the rooms are very old, poorly maintained. Didn't want to use the bath tub with all the mold etc.
We were just passing through Revelstoke. The hotel was good. It included breakfast so that was nice. There were free passes to a nearby pool which would have been great had we had the time.
When we checked in they gave us an upgrade to a suite. While in never I've to turn down an upgrade, I think the room was too large to allow the air conditioner to cool it properly. Plus the kitchen area had seen far better days. The room "appeared" clean but I found an old dirty sock on the floor and I'm not sure the bathroom floor has seen a broom in a while.
We found this hotel to have everything we needed for our one night stay. It was located conveniently within walking distance of many shops and we enjoyed touring the town. The breakfast was included and was certainly as much as we needed. We thought the price was amazing and will stay again as we travel through the Rocky Mountains.
- it was okay for the price
Location Cost Clean Friendly Enjoyed our stay
Beds and pillows were not very comfortable. Went out and bought new pillows for our stay.
