Beds were nice, bathroom seem recently renovated. Very nice and clean. Breakfast was great!
There were three staff at the front when we checked in. One was busy with other guest, the other just keep talking to another staff.
We loved the pub, the decor and the price!
The walls are thin. You can hear everything! Luckily, the other guests were pretty quiet.
Comfortable bed, good staff, quiet.
Very old, rust in sink and bathtub. Room smelled musty.
A little out dated but they were renovating some rooms when we were there
It was just what we needed, just to get out of town for a night, it was cheap, and we loved the 15% discount at the restaurant, the food from the restaurant was also surprisingly very good! It was the perfect treat to get away from the big city.
Wi-fi strength was all over the place, nothing consistent, but we were still able to find what we were searching for with little difficulty, minor inconvenience.
Close to Downtown Restaurant and Pub onsite Quiet in Off Season
Overuse of air freshener in room
Breakfast added in $60 is good for a stopover hotel.
I'd be stupid to say I don't like this and that ofcourse not every place looks like cosmopolitan Las Vegas but again .. It's a good stopover mid journey hotel.
Old decore, smelly room, old bed.
For the price it was decent, definitely a ski lodge feel. The complementary breakfast was excellent, although quite simple but the room price made up for it. I'd probably stay there again.
Room was clean. Staff were friendly. Room had a small fridge. Bed was comfortable. Sort of a small breakfast included. You can use the air conditioner to create white noise so you don't have to listen to your neighbors or drunks all night. Almost got WiFi.
Walls paper thin. Could hear people next door as though they were in the same room and they almost were. The doorway which would permit the rooms to be adjoining had a broken lock on my side and once they were able to open it into my room and stick their head in. The back door to the hotel bar faces the rooms on one side and drunk people having a smoke always feel they need to shout to make themselves heard and they will tend to do so until early morning. closing time. Try for a room on the other side of the hallway and bring ear plugs to be safe.
good value. nice staff, and nice breakfast.
Nowadays you need more plug-ins for cellphones, tablet, cameras, laptops, but there are not enough power plug-ins in the room. We have to unplug TV, and some lights.
Staff were helpful the breakfast was an added bonus. We also popped into the pub for a drink again staff there very pleasant. The motel is old and obviously needs updating, but that is reflected in the price. We stayed one night and the bed was comfortable, we slept well. A good breakfast before we left.
Apart from the age of the place and need for refurbishment, nothing.
Seniors discount. Very friendly and helpful staff
good front desk people. friendly...
no hotel sign -- no light at night. hotel is old.
Front desk staff member was very nice
Pulled up, had an individual vomiting on the car next to us. Paid. Got access to room where neighbours appeared to be having a domestic dispute and you could clearly hear every word through the suites partition. Room smelt of urine and whole building smelt of cigarettes. Went back to front desk gave key back and checked out with no offer of reimbursement. Horrible place! Got room at sandman hotel by the highway for 20 dollars more a night and it was glorious in comparison.
Good food in the restaurant, good location
Bedside lights didn't work, kept flicking on and off, no toiletries other than soap
Fair price, friendly staff, comfy bed.
The bar was great and the common areas was nice. Was cheap and worked as a place to sleep for the night while passing though.
Was a bit worn and rooms smelled musty and felt like an institution more than a hotel. Not the best noise isolation. You could hear people passing by in the hallway and the room next door.
receptionist was excellent
Noise and Chinese cooking smell from adjacent rooms
Atmosphere, position, direct access to the pub, staff availability and politeness
weak wifi connection especially at 2nd floor
King bed, lots of chairs, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff.
The front desk staff were so pleasant and helpful ... especially when we got 'stuck' in our room (117) and the young man on the desk came to the rescue. They also stored for us in their deep-freeze, our container of frozen salmon brought from Vancouver Island. WE'LL DEFINITELY COME BACK!
Very minor .... a telephone in the room would be handy (and kleenex.)
Everything was awesome. Beds a bit hard.
