“ Surprised it was a Best Western...beautiful inside and out. Pricey but very nice facility with all the perks. We were there to hike the area so not there to be pampered. So nice to come back from a 22K hike to hot showers, great beds and a beautiful setting. Great coffee in the room not in the bathroom! ”

Location on the weaterfront is very beautiful, and the Hotel is new. The most idiotic thing(s) about this hotel that I did not like... 1. The almost systematic way the fron desk staff would leave and pop a sign saying back shortly! We waited 15 minutes one evening for her to fanally show up, and it was like "Yha what do you want" 2. Who would think a hotel would not open the resatuant for breakfast during the week for the guests???? This one does not! That's right! no hot breakfast at this great big hotel! Shame on them!

Surprised it was a Best Western...beautiful inside and out. Pricey but very nice facility with all the perks. We were there to hike the area so not there to be pampered. So nice to come back from a 22K hike to hot showers, great beds and a beautiful setting. Great coffee in the room not in the bathroom! Computers to print boarding passes were fast and easily accessible. This hotel was a nice treat on our Canada adventure. Stayed at a hotel in N. Vancouver and an airport hotel (both Comfort Inn & Suites) in Vancouver...yuck! We all agreed BW Prestige was a highlight. Had some sheet rock bulges in the shower, surprising for a new hotel. Found the glasses in the TV stand not in the bathroom for water. Lacking enough outlets for phones & laptops, we were unplugging lamps and putting phones on the floor near plugs. I booked on booking.com asking for a room for 4, when I printed the receipt it indicated I was getting a room for 2 (with 2 Queens) and would be subject to an addtl fee of $20 per extra person per day. Thankfully the hotel didn't impose that cost onto us. I may have misunderstood but why even suggest a room for 4 then say booked for 2 no meal plan was on it so why the need for addtl fee per person?

Relaxing and beautiful ocean-front facility. It would be nice if the hotel would offer water activities to patrons at group rates. Full window in my room would have been nice.

Very clean, nicely decorated. Quality beds, linens. Music would be good. i.e. via digital t.v. or other device in the room. Most hotels don't have any music which we would like to see put in.
