The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area and old Quebec City is within walking distance. There are good restaurants located within minutes of the hotel. Ice machine is not available on every floor. Only half of computers in the business centre is operational at any one time.

Staff were great, very helpful. Restaurant had a really varied selection and everything we tried was wonderful and because we were out of the tourist area prices were pretty good as well. The hotel is also surrounded by local neighborhood restaurants serving really good food and drink. The bed was very comfortable and looked directly out the floor to ceiling windows, nice in the evening. Rooms are sparse, not a bad thing unless you put in a plastic chair for the desk and have no place to put clothes except a tiny dresser in the closet. Suggestion for the hotel, buy a better chair (chair/bench by the window was much better) and just build a couple shelves in the closet.

The Hotel is in a great location. We parked our car for the three days and either walked most of the time or took a taxi. It is not far from the Old City for shopping and exploring. Quebec City has it right on how tourist would like to be treated. We had no problem with speaking english or getting ourselves understood. Anyone that we experienced either restaurant staff, retail, taxi drivers and just talking to people on the street were friendly. They made us feel welcomed to their city and gave suggestions on where to go what to do. We were in one retail store in the old city and the clerk and were buying a gift. We used a english word that she did not know. She asked us to repeat it a couple of times and spell it so she would know., We plan on going back to Quebec City in the summer but stay longer, there is so much more to see. It is a beautiful city and so are the people. The only negative thing I could say about the hotel is that it needs more lighting in the bathroom. We found it kind of dark, but the bathroom goes with the theme of the hotel. I would still go back there though and know that I would enjoy my stay.,

Sky View room had floor to ceiling windows. Sauna was large. Pool area had windows to the city. Aveda bath products. Mini fridge in the room. Free wi-fi. Furniture was interesting looking but cheap quality. No ice machine accessible by hotel guests. No in-room tea or coffee. Night table lamp non-functional. Only one towel rack, for hand towels. Bathroom lighting not good for applying makeup. Tv reception quality very low. Very little drawer space.

I love to be in the middle of St-Roch and mostly that week-end we had the chance to see the Toys parade from the pool since it was passing on St-Joseph st...

I was expecting more after reading the reviews. The room had a lack of maintenance, like stains in the wall and bathroom ceiling. The room is very white because of it's modern deco but for me the impression was that it was an old room.

I like the friendly staff, able to speak english if needed. I loved the location. Right in the heart of downtown Quebec. I did not like the price. There was nothing special about our two double bed hotel room. The cleaning staff did not replace our shampoo or soap for the whole 3 nights we stayed.

Biggest pool inside a hotel! The room and staff are excellent. Overall recommended. The breakfast in bed was very small for a very price. But you can go to the café at the groundfloor where you can get a very nice breakfast.

The bed was superb! Room was designed along modern, clean lines. The rooms themselves didn't have coffee machines but the free bean-to-cup machine in the lobby made very acceptable drinks. The location is great, as St Roch is less touristy and we found very acceptable breakfast cafes and restaurants. The pool is possibly the best hotel pool I have used - full 12.5m and reasonable depth, not too chlorinated. We didn't try the hotel restaurant for price reasons. The room didn't have many drawers for clothes - there were spaces where one could have been placed without detracting from the design of the room. Whilst the coffee machine was great, I didn't like having to use paper cups as they are generally not recyclable. Personally I would prefer the hotel to have proper cups available with a small dishwasher next to the machine.

Location of the hotel is desirable as it is close to walking to upper and lower old Quebec city but is far enough removed not to have to deal with the ongoing tourist buses and delivery vehicles noise and exhaust if I had have been staying in those areas. The staff were efficient and polite; my room on the 17th floor directly overlooked a church and offered an eatern panorama view of much of the city and St. Lawerence River. I woke to stunning sunrise for three days. The fitness room is adequate but with slightly dated equipment. The restaurant/bar is at the back of the hotel away from the lobby. I took a look at the room and menu and neither "grabbed me" to dine or drink.

Very cool spaces, great staff, all polite and genuinely friendly. Excellent room at a reasonable price. A great, minimal, alternative to the chintzy chains! Breakfast pricey and extra for orange juice a bit steep considering it wasn't freshly squeezed
