One of the worst hotels I ever stayed at They advertize "shuttle to airport". This is completely false and misleading! They payed for my taxi from airport to hotel; but once i got there, they REFUSED to pay for my trip back to the airport the next morning! So i had to cough up an additional $22 to get back to the airport.... Plus, their radiator was going "click-clack-click" all night long... until around 2am i couldnt handle it anymore, i got up, gave it a big kick, it shut it up!

The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Location was good for the airport. Rooms were too dark and had a dingy feeling about them. Hotel could use some upgrading. The light in the bathroom had a mind of its own and would only work when it felt like it.

This hotel was an extreme disappointment there was not much to like. It is very out dated and in need of renovations. the airport shuttle consisted of taxi service which we were told, when calling from the airport, was going to be free only in one direction and we would need to decide which direction we wanted to pay. The taxi fee turned out to be $21.00 (one way). This was not spelled out on the web site which stated free airport shuttle. This hotel would not even been a consideration if we had known that this cost would be additional to the room rate.

It was okay, disappointed as online information stated free parking, so thought we could leave our car there when we flew out of airport for a few weeks. Once we arrived we found we couldn't without a large fee. The staff that helped us was excellent!

I teach excellence in customer service across Canada and travel frequently. I must say that this hotel could teach other hotels on how to treat their guests! The level of service I received was exceptional and the staff are among some of the best I've ever encountered. Two thumbs up and when I'm back in Calgary I'll be sure to return to visit Heidi and her amazing team!

The place was a run down hotel, didn't Appear to be clean. The restaurant served food that wasn't fresh, the water for tea wasn't hot, I would not stay there again if there was other places avalible.

Location is close to the airport and provides transportation to get to the airport. An Enterprise Car Rental is located next to the hotel so we were able to drop off a rental vehicle.

It was available pillows were nice no evidence of bedbugs It smelled of cigarette smoke.We were on a nonsmoking floor but the smoke was strong in hallway and room. Room needs a facelift. Drab curtains and bed linens; and wallpaper in bathroom needs repair. Too hot for sleeping. Had to turn on air conditioner in December.

What I liked about that hotel is because you guys "Booking.com" screw up on my reservation. You guys booked for December 13 and they hotel put as no show up. But in fact the reservation was for December 31st.... The Hotel didn't charge me because you guys, made a freaking mistake on my reservation.

We enjoyed the quietness of the 6th floor.WE Were in Room 604. as parents of 10 month old baby, silence at night is a priority. Swimming pool and hut tub was clean, thank you. Lots of towel and supply like a ball and swimming goggle at the pool Right on. Our room # 604 could have been freshier.Thesilicone around the tub is very old and started to be spotted with surface mold. Some spot near the air intake on the ceiling in the room has rought carpentry, it seems that the finishing work was done very fast and that gives an old and odd look.

Rooms were shabby, almost everything is dirty, this hotel is way to expensive and one has to read the advertisement carefully because the charge you 12%tax !!!!!!!!!! Spend a few dollars more to stay in a decent hotel !

“We had just finished our Rocky Mountainer Train trip and arrived in Calgary at about 10:30 pm ,the Sandman hotel was one of the ones they used so it"s great to have luggage delivered to the hotel.
