The location was awesome. The staff were friendly. The rooms were just like the pictures, everything updated. The bed was super comfy and clean. Walking distance to anywhere. Only down fall was it was 50$ just to park beside hotel in public Parking and I left my phone in a cab and never got it back. It was never retuned. Will definitely be more prepaired next trip but will most likely stay back at comfort suites. :)
The bed and pillows were sooo comfortable. The best thing about our stay. Also they were accommodating as we requested an early check in because our train came in before 3 and we were given a room right away
Unfortunately the fan in our room was sooooo noisy it kept me awake when it kicked in with the heat. Also the worst part was the smell of the cleaner....I'm sensitive to chemical smells and this was bad. I had to force myself to breath through my nose so i didn't get nauseous Not a javex smell but a very intense carpet cleaner smell. I thought it was just in my room but it was in lobby too. They really need to change this. Also the shower curtain rod was bent and the curtain wouldnt stay closed so the floor was soaked every time we showered. The back of bathroom door had water damage so you could tell its a recurring problem.
Though the entrance was slightly overshadowed by the construction next door, the hotel itself was a pleasant surprise. The halls were in need of a refurbish (clean though) but the rooms were lovely. Well appointed and above expectations at the price point. Clean and comfortable, we were very happy with our accommodations. If you are a lighter sleeper or frankly just want a quiet night, request rooms on the odd side, away from Crescent St. It's known for it's nightlife for a reason folks! Great downtown location, close to the underground city, the Bell Ctr, restaurants and cafes. Our family of four walked to the hockey game in under 6 minutes. Will stay there again for sure!
The room was very large and the service was great. The front desk staff were very nice and check in and check out was quick. The location was great, right near restaurants and bars and shopping on saint Catherine street.
The Room we stayed in needed some fixing, paint was peeling and some things were a little broken. The breakfast was smaller than expected but many hotels don't even offer breakfast so it wasn't a big deal.
Great location, excellent value. Really clean room.
Narrow road. Lots of construction on road.
Close to Bell Centre and restaurants
Room was a little less than I expected. Carpet was grungy & wet outside the bathroom . Halls on our floor could of been a little more appealing.
The room was very clean, pleasant and comfortable. The bed was wonderful with lots of pillows. The breakfast they served was buffet style with plenty of options and we really enjoyed it. The location was perfect for our short walk to the bell centre.
The breakfast seating area was far too small and it was very chilly because the cleaning lady kept opening the door.
Location Staff Cleanliness
room set up was nice, but cold draft from balcony door; close to bell centre
parking not available anywhere close, parking that can be found is only for small cars and costs $30 which is brutal; construction starting before 7am not cool. construction "nearby" and "right outside our window" are very different!
The location was good close to the Bell Center shopping and restaurants
-Nice staff -nice room -near everything (bars, restaurants, shopping etc)
-I guess this is not part of the hotel facilities but still guests should know this: I arrived around 3am and everything around the hotel is under construction( which is not bad , there is some noise that's it). -if you are traveling with a family, the hotel is next to a xxx massage place ... Again, doesn't bother me but if you are traveling with kids ... You might want to think twice, also because when I arrived there was a woman waiting in the lobby and she offered me a massage with a happy ending, I don't mind the fact that they are outside but the fact that she was Inside a was a "meh factor". -I booked my room with x price but when I arrived the guy at the front door was charging me more, I had to talk to him and tell him that was not what the website was asking, after that he gave the "same" price.nv
Good location as far as close to downtown shopping and bars.
Heavy construction taking place next door, didn't know about this until I showed up. I booked the room for noon and planned my travel accordingly, when I showed up I was told the room isn't guaranteed available until 3pm. This wasn't made known on the website. Hotel is across the street from a very popular pub. Things can get loud and rowdy at 2am.
Convenient. Price could be better. Great location.
Great location, right downtown, lots of shopping nearby and bars/restaurants, walking distance to the Bell centre. Rooms were a decent size and good value for money. Paying more for the location than the facilities
Little bit outdated, hallways were dirty looking, rooms were a good size but not decorated very nicely, and not very good lighting.
No pool, and construction while we were there.
There is heavy duty construction happening on a building that is immediately next door. It starts at 7am (or even a little before) even on Saturday. Keep it in mind if you want to sleep in.
Warm welcome from hotel staff. Locations is good (close to many points of interest).
Unfortunately the room next to ours was occupied by party people who were reluctant at calming down. An aweful first night.
Location, close to transport, shoppinv and restaurants.
Paper plates and plastic utensils at breakfast not the hotel's failt, but there is a lot of construction on next door.
Staff was very helpful and very nice. Excellent with the children Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Outdoor deck right off your room
Continental breakfast was not the best
the beds were comfy, the balcony, staff were polite.
small elevators, breakfast area was not very inviting, selection of food was minimal, coffee was terrible. Paper plates and platic utensils, that was a first. I know you want to save money, but that was low ....
the friendly and helpful staff
too close to bars, a little to noisy in some rooms
Location and cleanliness and a great sleep
Breakfast room was a little cramped
Location to shopping, bell center and restaurants
Location - central for shopping, restaurants, museum, ice hockey. Good breakfast and plenty of it. King size bed with topper very comfortable. Reasonable value for money despite noise next door.
Being woken at 0645 by work on building the condo next door. Confined space in breakfast area. One off experience of other guests coming in at 0400 and banging away at their door for half an hour trying to wake their friend to let them in...
