Score from 476 reviews Very good
Convenient. Price could be better. Great location.
Great location, right downtown, lots of shopping nearby and bars/restaurants, walking distance to the Bell centre. Rooms were a decent size and good value for money. Paying more for the location than the facilities
Little bit outdated, hallways were dirty looking, rooms were a good size but not decorated very nicely, and not very good lighting.
No pool, and construction while we were there.
There is heavy duty construction happening on a building that is immediately next door. It starts at 7am (or even a little before) even on Saturday. Keep it in mind if you want to sleep in.
Warm welcome from hotel staff. Locations is good (close to many points of interest).
Unfortunately the room next to ours was occupied by party people who were reluctant at calming down. An aweful first night.
Location, close to transport, shoppinv and restaurants.
Paper plates and plastic utensils at breakfast not the hotel's failt, but there is a lot of construction on next door.
Staff was very helpful and very nice. Excellent with the children Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Outdoor deck right off your room
Continental breakfast was not the best
the beds were comfy, the balcony, staff were polite.
small elevators, breakfast area was not very inviting, selection of food was minimal, coffee was terrible. Paper plates and platic utensils, that was a first. I know you want to save money, but that was low ....
the friendly and helpful staff
too close to bars, a little to noisy in some rooms
Location and cleanliness and a great sleep
Breakfast room was a little cramped
Location to shopping, bell center and restaurants
Location - central for shopping, restaurants, museum, ice hockey. Good breakfast and plenty of it. King size bed with topper very comfortable. Reasonable value for money despite noise next door.
Being woken at 0645 by work on building the condo next door. Confined space in breakfast area. One off experience of other guests coming in at 0400 and banging away at their door for half an hour trying to wake their friend to let them in...
close to bell center
Bed was comfortable, room was big
Being woke up at 5am by next door people slamming doors until 7am and people running up and down stairs making noise!!! We only have about 3hours sleep!
- The value for money
The location near the bars make it very noisy ..
location was great
there was construction in the area which we were warned about however the warning said it would be a "minor disturbance" and that it would be between 7 and 5, mon- friday. The sound level was extreme, the windows were shaking and they started every morning at 6am. The also did some work before we had even checked out on Saturday. The staff told me "hope you get better sleep when you get home"...
The room was nice and plenty comfortable.
There is no sound insulation to the outside so you hear the celebrations from the pubs outside at night just as if they're in your room. Plus, construction in the morning started at 6:45am. It was right outside my window but sounded like it was right outside my ear -- and I was wearing earplugs!
Comfy bed and great location for restaurants and shopping .
Building condos right next door, so very loud construction noises early morning into late aft. Room was musty. Wallpaper peeling off in spots, filthy stained carpet, and when I picked up the pen, it was all sticky. The entire hotel in need of a major update or even just a fresh coat of paint. I was there two nights and had to air out the room every time I entered because of the bad body odor smell. Very run down and not your typical Comfort Suites.
Excellent location on a funky side street off the main shopping district. Good beds, clean linens!
The place is run-down, with several burn holes through my bedside lampside. Hotel sort of feels like a sketchy apartment complex. The construction is ongoing - started at 6:00am and did not stop all throughout the day.
location - easy access to downtown by walking, and transportation excellent. nearby lot of restaurants to choice.
Hotel a bit old, need a renovation. price a bit high.
Construction on the street in front of the hotel (huge noise).
Big comfy bed
Noise diners in nearby restaurants
Location--room was good -comfortable bed-updated room but a little tired in the bathroom Breakfast way above expectation. Helpful staff. view from 12th floor bedroom window .
website warned about on going construction -however it was supposed to start at 7.00 started at 6.am--we moved rooms the next morning to the 12th floor and this did help. If you like to sleep with your windows open Crescent street is not for you--it is party city.. This I knew before I booked but the construction noise was bad..
Sliding Doors to cupboard did not work; Door to room problems with locking from outside; Doors to balcony very un-tight; Telephone did only function now and then; Breakfast room too small; too few seatings.
