It is a fantastic location, close to everything that you would want to do in Vancouver. The price is fantastic and the room was an excellent size and we had two full size double beds. Vancouver have a fantastic transport system and you are ideally placed in this hotel to make the most of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone visiting the city. We had a very noisy room, there was quite a loud noise from what I think was a from a generator. This noise couldn't be heard further down the corridor but the closer you got to our room the louder it got. I would recommend getting a room closer to the lift end. Also, ,there is a lot of noise from bin lorries in the mornings so a room to the front might be better for light sleepers. None of this would be a problem for most people but it annoyed me as I am a light sleeper and had requested a quiet room.

Good size room, helpful desk staff who arranged a suitcase repair for us. The local construction activity (not the hotels fault)

I liked that it was so close to the Beach and shopping and away from the busy downtown area. It was also conveniently located with access to the Airport. I also liked my Kitchenette that was fully stocked with supplies which was great. I would stay at this hotel again for sure. My Room #709 had a bathroom tap that would turn on quickly and splash my clothes. It was hard to turn on and it would get stuck. It needs to be fixed for sure. Also I didn't know about the additional $30.00 cost/night for the kitchenette, until I arrived. That price should be included with the room(s), or mentioned on the website.

Too noisy, the Hotel is near to a large street (almost highway). We did not sleep well because of the traffic noise. No minibar, and very very old facility.

i was visiting Vancouver to se my daughter as she is a traveller who is presently working there. I found the hotel to be quite comfortable but not luxury... for the money it was good and i would have no problem staying there again. It was only a few minutes from the centre of things and very convenient for some lovely walks in the evenings

It was great for the value! Washrooms were too small, but they were functional. No real complaints here.

Allowed an earlier check in time. Restaurant. Location to shopping & Granville Island. Outdoor pool was not heated. Not warm enough to swim, which was part of the reason we chose this hotel.

Convenient location in the center of Vancouver. The area was a bit run down, but you are close to excellent shopping if you are willing to walk about 5 minutes.

The staff were very courteous and helpfull. The Hotel was situated close to the harbour for easy access to different locations on the waterfront. The aquabus (mini ferry) was used and is not expensive. The Hotel was close to all main shopping areas. The bus service was good also. The swimming pool area could do with a makeover. Timber fencing could be painted and the privacy of the area could be enhanced with extra shrubbery.

The linens were very crisp and new feeling and the beds were very comfortable. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom really steamed up during a shower and were quite outdated but all in all my stay was comfortable and affordable. The hotel is within easy access of downtown and very close to lovely walks along the water. Granville Island is a short seabus ride away. Lots of eating facilities close by. The restaurant in the hotel had a lovely breakfast - both smorg and a la carte.

This Hotel was a good value. Nice and clean and friendlyu staff. It was a bit of a walk to Rogers Centre but doable. It's a little awkward finding parking, even to register. They do have undergroud parking for $14 a day. The TV's were anciet. They need newer ones with flat screens with HDMI accessability. Restarauant facilities are poor. Parking is awkward and costly.

Great location for walking over bridge to Granville Island, down to Sunset Beach. Easy drive to Stanley Park, Capilano, Gastown, etc. Good for travelers. Front desk staff very helpful. Gated parking good, but did cost.... Traffic noise from road, had to close windows. Wish there had been microwave in room. Wish there was a continental breakfast. Was much more modest accomodations than we usually stay at, but prices higher in Canada than us, so all we could afford (over $200 a night!) Way over our normal budget, for which we usually have continental breakfast, microwave and fridge, queen beds. Also, garage door bangs shut way too loudly when you are going to elevator. Parking very tight.
