Quality Hotel Downtown-Inn at False Creek    

I thought this excellent value and appreciated the wonderful mattresses and pillows.

Arriving at the hotel and not being greeted by either person working on the front desk. Both kept their heads down working on something at the desk - an acknowledgement, even with "be right with you" would have made me feel more welcome and more valued!

Friendly and helpful staff, restaurant has good value breakfast, close to False Creek and Granville Island, easy to walk to main shopping area, comfortable beds and good size room, plenty of fluffy towels

Close to our friends. Close to public transport. Staff helpful And room comfortable. Room drinks /bathroom accessories. Easy dropoff point for luggage.Overall 2 enjoyable stays.

No fresh milk pots for tea. Not enough powder milk for 4cups of coffee .2 people evening and am.

Staff at the creek side were fantastic and helpful! Food concistantly was good.

I made a point of communicating the fact that I was in a wheelchair at the time of my web booking. The space in around the bed was enough, I however could not even enter the bathroom. The width of door space was 3" to small. Because of my situation I, and mostly my spouse dealt with my bathroom needs. The incredible inconvience was the lack of accessibility to washing facilities!

i liked the room size, the bed was comfortable and the location was excellent to go anywhere in downtown, the metro was very close...

I wish I had a small refrigerator in the room and brown sugar and real milk or cream for my coffee and tea.

The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was satisfactory.

I was upset that there was not a microwave and mini fridge. When travelling with my twin boys they like to eat pretty much all the time. I would have liked to have a fridge and microwave.

No fridge or microwave in room. Construction was loud but they were quiet until 8am and stopped at 5pm. It was a weekday so to be expected.

Wi-fi signal not stable, therefore you might loose it in the middle of something;

God location, quite and easy to find. Clean and comfortable rooms.

Overall experience was exactly what you might expect from a *** star hotel. Downtown location very convenient. Amenities as per expectations. Staff friendly and helpful. No negatives.

Let me start by saying that I don't usually write bad reviews but this one was up there with worst places to stay so feel like I should take the time to give our experience. The building was old and there was no sound proofing, we could hear our neighbours down the hall arguing, the clientelle was very questionable in general. The girl was screaming at her friends the first night and the second night was running and screaming after her boyfriend. Then sat and cried at the elevator, which was far away from our room but because of lack of insulation we could hear her plain as day. We could hear blaring music outside in the alley and trucks backing up with the back up sound and we were on the 5th floor. Sound for light sleepers would be a problem is the main reason for me saying this. Of course they can't control the incidents but it's hard to ignore when you can hear everything. The main water pipe burst the last night we were there and in the morning we woke to no running water and once that was repaired no hot water (not there fault but the way they responded was not the best).

We liked the location as we wanted to spend some time and have dinner at Granville Island.

We were put in a handicapped room which made it rather difficult to shower and after showering the bathroom smelled particularly bad of urine. The whole suite needs a good cleaning or even better updating. For the price we were not impressed.
