It was nice and quiet. The free breakfast was good. The location is ideal for travelers and for business folks. The curtain in my room didn't close entirely so the morning light was a bit of a bother - also it was a main floor room so I like to have the drapes drawn for security reasons. The front door was not easy to open. It was very difficult to open even after the green "open" light was on. This happened every time I tried to get into my room. Otherwise everything was fine. |

Proximity to local train link into Calgary Paid 30% more for what I class as a budget hotel than I did for a deluxe room in Vancouver. The Quality in room had a window that opened onto a corridor therefore no natural light - like sleeping in a box! The inclusive continental breakfast was a joke. Styrofoam cups for all drinks and paper plates made it look like a charity soup kitchen and there were not enough tables for all the seemingly 'subdued' guests who were probably as unhappy about the facilities as we were. Needless to say we ate breakfast elsewhere. We have stayed in hotels all over the world including other budget hotels that were better value for money so was very disappointed as this was the last leg of our visit to Canada. Not a good experience! I have never felt the need to write a review as bad as this as it is not my style. However on this occasion I am because of the fact that it was a poor end to a great holiday in Canada where facilities in hotels prior to this were excellent. |

The front desk personell had extremely poor english skills. This is unacceptable. The prices in the restaurant were outlandish. good food, but ridiculous prices. |
