Location - right in town by the lake, at the base of the main street. Close to shops, eateries, etc. Our room was clean, a good size, comfortable bed, TV. Continental breakfast included. Our first stay and would return again (and bring earplugs if on weekend!)
Stayed over Saturday night and there was late night (2:15 am) noisy ' ?music!! ' from club across the street.
The bass from some music was shaking the windows till 2am. It was a short sleep night
comfortable beds close to Casino Rama near the lake
noisy night club attached very dated carpets dirty front and rear entrance doors had broken glass not repaired
Staff was polite and courteous.
I had a confirmation for two beds in my room. Upon arrival I was given a room with one bed because the other room had been given to a large group.
Location good. Noisy because a bar next door.
Paid over 100. dollars this included breakfast. I went down for breakfast the containers of cereal were empty. There were no eggs.I asked the girl at front desk, whos dress was not professional a contenental breakfast includes eggs. She replyed our egg order did not come in.Never will stay here again.I asked if she could purchase some eggs, no reply. She could have but no coustemer service. Thank You. Irma Napoleone
A more experienced housekeeping manager to provide cleaner more vibrant rooms we found a bottle of Vaseline and money under one bed and the dirt under the beds was in believable as well as having more facilities for the quest to use would be a benefit excellent location excellent possiblities just need more experienced staff for management
The fact we had left our room the housekeeper Shelley new it was our anniversary and had a gift basket placed in our room and also that it was quiet and no one disturbed us
The room vibrated form the base sound comming form the club next door
Sunday night was perfect.
Saturday night was terrible! There was obviously a band downstairs or next to the hotel whose sounds reverberated throughout the building until about 2 am. No sleep there.
Staff were topline Clean room. Small but enough space to be comfortable Readily accessible parking
Not enough plug-ins for computer and devices Problems with the wifi
The location was ideal and it is close to an Italian restaurant called ZATS on Missassauga Street which we can heartily recommend.
The hotel was in the middle of refurbishment which meant some facilities (laundry) were not available. Breakfast was only so-so.
Pillows great. Location good. 2nd room superb
1st night reported musty smell - as I have allergies this was a problem on duty staff did not address. However spoke with gen mgr next day she was excellent
The room was clean and comfortable.
Very loud music from a bar attached to the hotel played until 2:30 a.m.
bed were good and also pillows.. nice bath tub . spotless
breakfast was so so... needed a waffle machine
The foyer was clean and welcoming. The king sized bed was comfortable. The bathrooms were fairly clean and pleasant.
There are no elevators. The hallway carpets are old and worn. The rooms are just that, a room. It was quite small. The rooms are basically "surface clean", the bed sheets seemed clean, but had stains on them. One stain was a blood stain. I was thoroughly dissapointed. I would have requested another sheet, but we arrived very late in the night, and just needed to sleep. The bathroom door was dirty, and the wallpaper that was in the main room was old and also dirty in appearance. This was a smoking room, and had burn holes in the curtains to confirm that. I would have gladly gone outside to smoke if it meant I would've had a good room. This room needs some updating and a good scrub. It would then be a lot better! Oh, and the remote to the tv was broken. I will not be staying here again.
The bomb threat and they said they would reimburse us half the amount and call us the next day and they never did!! It was a rough part of town!! Bars all around us with partiers.
Great location, close to shops, restaurants & waterfront. Staff were extremely helpful & pleasant. Great price
The hotel itself is pretty run-down, carpets need replacing, stale odor in the hallways. The hot tub was either under repair or no longer exists. They also no longer offer a shuttle to Casino Rama, so although you save money on the room, you will pay at least $50.00 return trip by taxi to the casino. For that reason, you could perhaps book at a nicer hotel that offers shuttle for about the same price.
nice location, close to water and nice restaurants.
noise at night from music next door.
The Staff was pleasant and although the room was small and dated it was comparatively clean.
No Elevator. It never occurred to me to ask if there was an elevator or not. I have difficulty walking and was disappointed that I had to struggle up the stairs to the second floor room.
A couple of lightbulbs were dead and there was a big black spot on the carpet. the sink was not draining properly until my husband fixed it.
I love the location. Right downtown and close to everything. The beach, shopping, the LCBO, Shoppers Drug Mart, loads of resturants. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a great airconditioner.
Stairs, Stairs but I managed as another customer helped me with my bag. No help was offered. The room was dirty. The bathtub had dirty on the ledge that could have been wiped off. Other peoples hair on the floor and on the carpet. Around the ledge of the sink again should have been wiped down. Then there was breakfast that was offered. I am not looking for a full course meal. Something fast to go. There was one table with 2 chairs and 8 people trying to find a place to sit. Bread, small muffins and waffles were offered along with some apples and coffee. Milk container was out as well and coffee. I arrived for breakfast at 8 am. I managed to make a coffee but with no where to sit. I put it down and left. The only reason I would return to this hotel is the location.
Shower, ice machine, location and staff.
Pubic hair all over the dirty sheets. Blood stained mattress cover, filthy rugs, peeling paint in rooms, tang at breakfast instead of real orange juice, disgisting entry way and back hotel front and back, snot on room walls and a room door that didn't close properly. Hot tub non-existent, outside lawn maintenance was not done at all and garbage all over the lawn and in back parking lot. Disgusting!!!
We were put on the third floor without being aware there wasn't an elevator. My girlfriend has a bad heart and can not do stairs very well.
front desk help was good
too many stairs when the rooms were clean - coffee & supplies were not put in the room again beds were made but not very good - sheets under were not on the ends of the bed/ or undersize not sure why but 2nd night police showed up at hotel kids running in the hall. ran out of breakfast food
It was a great location. We had tickets to the Opera House and could walk. Also close to several restaurants for dinner and the waterfront. Staff were VERY helpful when we had trouble with the tv.
Breakfast was disorganized. Staff did not replenish in timely fashion and we (and others) had to look for butter, jam, coffee, tea.
