Location, reasonable price Was forced to pay a $200 damage deposit prior to being access to the room that had already been booked and charged to my credit card. Found it degrading, unprofessional and insulting.

They had a space - there was no other rooms in St John's at that time - thanks for having the space -got the last room too - 7 conferences at one time, yikes!

The location is wonderfull if you want to see the sights of St John's. It is right next to the famous signal hill and is about a 15 minute walk to shopping, sightseeing or to the amazing George Street night life. The rooms are spacious and comfortible. There is free wireless internet. The resturant has a great menu and decent prices. Dont ask for substitutions in the resturant. They wont do it and they even charge extra for a sprinkle of cheese on your pasta! The food is good though.

Conveniently located in the heart of town, near main dining and shopping areas as well as nearby sights in St John'S. Also easy driving access to Avalon Peninsula sights such as Cape Spear, Irish Loop, etc. The hotel's in-house restaurant is quite good.

Yes we stayed at the hotel on our way back to B.C. and enjoyed a restful night and a great breakfast at the resturant the staff were great and very helpful and we will certainly stay there again and recommend the hotel to our friends

Clean room with nice harbour view.Free parking garage. Noise from ships in the harbour(generator running the whole night).To bad they did not accept my choice club (points) card.

Just being available so I could spend the night with the family. Everywhere better was booked up. However your staff is very good at what they do. Fan in bathroom was useless. I was in 201 which is on the corner right on the road. Carpet in the room smelled like crap. Bed was not comfortable.

Clean room. Reasonably priced restaurant. Close to downtown. Great view of the harbour from our room. Fire alarm at midnight. Getting out of bed and out for a false alarm. Asked front desk to inform someone that we were in the restaurant having breakfast and come and get us and we missed the person. Not sure if he asked for us or not or if the front desk forgot the message. Would have been nice to have a pool or hot tub to relax in after a day of walking the town. Not much to do in the hotel.

Location and room comfort. Did not like being woken by a fire alarm at 7:30 A.M. in the morning and when trying to call the front desk, no one answered the the phone.went down to the front desk to fine out what was going on and everyone at the front desk seem to be total disorganized.fire department arrived on scene and they did also did not seem to know what was going on and were too layed backed and also disorganized.i had been booked to stay another day but checked out within the hour, I did not feel safe with the way things were being handled in general.pipes were leaking water in level one and level three of the parking units.i feel a follow up is required into what took place that day and how it was handled.

Excellent restaurant, spacious room overlooking busy harbour front and offering a great view of harbour and harbour entrance. Very convenient to downtown and main tourist sites, i.e., museum, Basilica, etc.

It was convenient enough and I had a great view from my room. It would have been nice to know there was a fitness room on my floor...I didn't discover it until I was leaving. The food from Room Service was sub par (brown lettuce, zucchini on the greek salad instead of cucumber - also brown and rotting) and did not compliment the hotel nor did it encourage me to visit there in the morning. Breakfast should have been included with a room rate of $179+
