Quality Hotel St. John's  

Location

Floor was noisy......sounds travel quite easily between rooms.

Fire Alarm that went off 2:30 in the morning and couldn't get off until about 4.

I found my short stay to be relaxing. The room was clean and quiet.

All was good, no compliants.

Location, reasonable price

Was forced to pay a $200 damage deposit prior to being access to the room that had already been booked and charged to my credit card. Found it degrading, unprofessional and insulting.

They had a space - there was no other rooms in St John's at that time - thanks for having the space -got the last room too - 7 conferences at one time, yikes!

Conveniently located in the heart of town, near main dining and shopping areas as well as nearby sights in St John'S. Also easy driving access to Avalon Peninsula sights such as Cape Spear, Irish Loop, etc. The hotel's in-house restaurant is quite good.

Just being available so I could spend the night with the family. Everywhere better was booked up. However your staff is very good at what they do.

Fan in bathroom was useless. I was in 201 which is on the corner right on the road. Carpet in the room smelled like crap. Bed was not comfortable.

Location and room comfort.

Did not like being woken by a fire alarm at 7:30 A.M. in the morning and when trying to call the front desk, no one answered the the phone.went down to the front desk to fine out what was going on and everyone at the front desk seem to be total disorganized.fire department arrived on scene and they did also did not seem to know what was going on and were too layed backed and also disorganized.i had been booked to stay another day but checked out within the hour, I did not feel safe with the way things were being handled in general.pipes were leaking water in level one and level three of the parking units.i feel a follow up is required into what took place that day and how it was handled.

It was convenient enough and I had a great view from my room.

It would have been nice to know there was a fitness room on my floor...I didn't discover it until I was leaving. The food from Room Service was sub par (brown lettuce, zucchini on the greek salad instead of cucumber - also brown and rotting) and did not compliment the hotel nor did it encourage me to visit there in the morning. Breakfast should have been included with a room rate of $179+

I liked the reastrauant area with its view overlooking the harbour.

Good value for the money, excellent location and pleasant staff.

Close to city center. Great view from our room to the harbour.
