We had a room for 4 people (2 king size beds). When we arrived there they asked us how many we were. We were actually only 2 persons. Knowing this, they tried to change us to another hotel with the excuse they only had bedrooms of 1 bed, but we had booked a room for 4 people, 1 bed?, Crazy! Unforgivable! I think they just wanted to have the big bedroom ready for people arriving the Thanksgiving weekend able to pay a lot. |

location car got broken into, window smashed and everything taken out of trunk. nothing was left in front of car so there was no reason to break in. not worth paying the 10$ to park there! |

Colorful district. I enjoyed walking to my conference site at the Palais. One night I could hear a TV next door. |

I liked the friendy and helpful staff members. The room was cleaned regularly. I liked the location of the hotel too. As a Europen, I did not find the continental breakfast to be a substantial meal. |

I choose this hotel because it was a pet friendly hotel. If I knew this hotel before, I wouldn't go. It was not clean, not quiet at all. This is the worst hotel I have ever experienced.. |

Location. Room Value. Cheap but clean. You get what you pay for. Breakfast a minimal experience. No lift. |

The hotel location in the Quartier Latin is simply fantastic, near nice restaurants, a good cinema, as well as the UQAM university and Montreal's main library. Some of the main entertainment venues of the city are close as well. TV channels in the room work well and there is also free wireless Internet. Hotel staff are nice and helpful. I've seen the hotel in better days. The carpets need to be washed and rooms decoration slightly improved. St Denis street can be noisy at times, but it usually doesn't bother much. The hotel has a strip club nearby - it doesn't bother much also. |

Location - close to Old City, St. Dennis area and other atractive venues As there is no A/C, the rooms are overheated, need to keep windows open, due to street partying it is impossible to fall asleep before 4:30. Arrogant staff. |

I stayed for a long weekend with some friends, and chose the hotel because of the price and location. We were very happy with our rooms and found it close to everything. As spoiled Americans we expected more of a continental breakfast. |

The hotel was very clean, specially the bathroom. Good location and it has its own parking ($10) The rooms were extremely small, no AC, extremely noisy (i could hear everything on the street) no ice machine, no fridge, and the biggest one of all, I slept in a couch not a bed!!!!!!! yes a couch.....Hotel had no elevators, so if you have some sort of disability, good luck. |

It's central location, the cleanliness, friendly staff The picture on the web makes it look like a really nice old town location, but those not inclined may be bothered by its immediate vicinity to a strip club .... |

I think that it is the service, friendliness, and dedication of the hotel staff that this hotel maintains its reputation. The staff are always eager to help, and are always available. Another great thing is that the hotel is set in a nice neighbourhood, one that doesn't sleep, but is still comfortable. There are lots of great restaurants around in the latin quarter, and it's a minute walk away from the subway which was convenient to get me anywhere I wanted. |

The main benefit of staying at Hotel Quartier Latin was its location at the heart of the Latin Quarter, a vibrant area. The towels and shower gel etc were quite poor. Not much amenities, ie pool, gym. There was not much of a selection in the Continental breakfast. |
