Quinsam Hotel & Hostel

It was inexpensive,and they allowed me a late checkout so I could come back and clean up after the diving.

As a hotel/hostel, they should have some kind of food storage and prep area. There was a used bar of soap in the bath tub.

Location close to island highway and shopping. Bathroom very large and clean. Fun pub downstairs for those who enjoy country music. Lots of free parking. Good hotel designed as a place to sleep not keep fit, attend meetings etc. Reminded me of the old family run hotels in Europe

the bathtub drain was plugged, no Shower. Walls ar not sound proof so not a good place for light sleeoers. would stay again but not on a Saturday night.

Very loud live music from the bar downstairs all night to 0100 AM. I was not able to sleep up to 0130AM. Quite noisy street.

1) When we booked room on booking.com, the room was with bathroom for 35 CAD per night - we booked 3 nights. When we arrived, they said room for 35 is without bathroom. After discussion we got room with bathroom, but just first two nights, last night all rooms with bathroom were reserved (at least they said that). 2) Room with bathroom (their price was 66 CAD per night! - dirty old building at the end of the town) was OK except for (probably) never cleaned windows and curtain with the hole in the frame. Cleanlines of the room was so so. 3) Room without bathroom was dirty and stinky and the sink in the room was really disgusting and never met any detergent. I'm not writing about shared bathrooms - We would never wash ourselves in anything like that. 4) Staff (always one older lady in big empty bar) had almost all the time nothing to do and wasn't able to tell us anything like: where is shared bathroom, when is checkout, the thing, that you can't get into the building after bar closing, etc... How dare they ask 66 CAD for something like that? Any hotel or motel has better service with low prices... they should stop call themselves hotel. If anyone wants stay in Campbell River, choose anything else, but stay away from this horrible place.

La comida y desayuno en el restaurante están muy bien, muy auténticos, tanto el lugar como la comida. Esta limpio, habitación amplia y calidad - precio muy buena.

No me gustó el olor a tabaco antiguo que queda, un poco, en la habitación. Es un hotel de carretera.

L'ambiance glauque du bar en dessous, L'odeur de renfermé de la chambre, Le fait qu'il n'y ait pas du tout de douche accessible (et que ceci ne soit même pas précisé lors de la réservation) La musique à fond jusqu'à 2h30 m'empêchant de dormir !!! Je ne conseille à personne d'y aller, à moins que vous souhaitiez passé une soirée dans un bar glauque US comme l'on voit dans les films...

We haved to check-in in a stinky, dark bar. After the first shock, we came to our "room". It was really disgusting. The floor wasn't vacuum cleaned, the bed was really dirty, and we're shure it wasn't changed since the last guest. The smell in the room was incredible bad and in the bathroom there was still a lighter on the floor, but shure not from us. We feld like we've been kidded and we were speakless, so we just take our bags and left this place without any words. So we need to book another hotel for this night and take first of all a shower to remove this bad feeling from this hotel. Never go there again!

It was loud and it was not clean dusty in most and in all places.

Clean and comfortable, excellant value for money.

Loud music till late ate weekends may not be to everyones liking.

They gave me my money back when I demanded it at one in the morning.

The rooms were disgusting and nothing like described, they staff was useless and seemed completely unaware that they had a "hotel". The bathrooms had tubs but no showers and the water out of any tap was brown. They booked a live band and didn't tell me when I booked or when I checked in so at midnight my room started shaking it was so loud that I had to leave at one in the morning and get a real hotel. It was simply the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel in my life. You will be better off sleeping in your vehicle.

Het was zo'n smerige kamer. In het bad liepen de beestjes rond. Er kwam bruin water uit de kraan, hierdoor zag het bad ook gedeeltelijk bruin! Kamer was klein. Helaas geen koelkast aanwezig! Daarnaast heel gehoorig. 's avonds was er een band die kwam optreden. Deze zaal lag precies onder onze kamer. Deze muziek was erg hard en ging door tot 1.00/2.00uur. Wij moesten de volgende morgen erg vroeg op en hebben hierdoor erg slecht geslapen. Daarnaast hadden wij een kamer geboekt met 2 aparte bedden, we kregen een kamer met 1, 2 persoonsbed. Nu was dit voor ons geen probleem, echter kan ik me voorstellen als je dit wel speciaal aanvraagd het vervelend is als er dan toch een 2 persoonsbed blijkt te staan. Ik zou het niemand adviseren hier te verblijven.Het is erg goedkoop, maar eigenlijk te duur voor de kamer die je er voor terug krijgt.
