Quite far from subway
The staff was very helpful, kind, professional and eager to please!
The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was a most enjoyable and comfortable stay..I highly recommend this hotel.
Elevators were a large issue, there only seemed to be one that was functional, and there were no routes to use the stair cases, as we were only on the 5th floor.
had a great stay all good will go back again next time
The room was not clean, linen was not cleaned, staff is terribly rude

We stay on a really busy Weekend in Toronto and booked the Residence Inn by Marriott Downtown because our Hotel we usually stay at was fully booked that date. It was a really good choise, prices were acutally pretty high due to high season and many attractions during those days in the city. We booked a better room type and at the check-in the nice lady told us that we will get an upgrade for a big shuite with several rooms. The suite got a couple of rooms, 2 bathrooms, had around 120m2 and was really big. We enjoyed our stay there absoloutly. It was really great. The WIFI worked perfect and the breakfast was nice, it was really crowded but that´s clear when the hotel is completly full. The staff was nice, everything was clean! I´d go there again!
Staff were great, very pleasant and helpful.
The room was large and clean.
The location was impossible to get to. On a Sunday afternoon, it took us 1.5 hours to go from the CNE to the hotel and when we got there the hotel parking lot was full and we had to park off site. Very stressfull.
Everything, especially the location.
Parking was a nightmare. The parking lot filled up before we got there. We were told to park down te street, but that lot was full too. We ended up driving around Toronto looking for a spot and had to park 25 minutes away. This was not ideal for our stay.
Staff are super attentive. We had some early complaints, and the staff were quick to find solutions. Also impressed by how friendly everyone was, from chamber maid to kitchen staff; it truly was noticeable. Although only valet parking is available, your car will be delivered in a flash. Breakfast buffet and Tuesday/Wednesday night complimentary dinners are a bonus, particularly if staying for a week, like we did.
We had a 1 bedroom suite (room 1514) and gave the comfortable queen bed to my elderly mother. The sofa bed on the other hand was terrible; my 9 year old and I did not sleep a wink the first night. The hotel did offer 2 cots at no extra cost, which were definitely better than the sofa. When booking be sure to ask if there is any sort of view. Our first room window looked directly at an air conditioning unit, and little else! I complained and we were immediately placed in a new room much higher up. Unfortunately, even there, you could barely catch a glimpse of the street below, just walls of windows. The rooms are tired in places.....broken window mechanism in the bedroom, bathroom door that couldn't open all the way because it jammed onto the floor, vinyl of furniture showing some signs of wear, main room door closer that did not actually shut the door (we had to be particularly mindful of that because the door would often stay open!).
The front desk staff were professional and extremely friendly, even considering how busy the hotel was during our stay (Saturday). Definitely staying here again.
Location and cleanliness of the hotel in general was excellent. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Breakfast queue was a nightmare. Waiting for lifts in morning was very long. No availability of food during the day.
Great location. Staff was very pleasant & helpful. Rooms were nice & clean. Would stay here again.
Parking was expensive.
We enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn very much. The breakfast was wonderful.
We are seniors and would have liked to get the seniors discount but I booked online and didn't see that option there.
Within walking distance to all major tourist attractions in Downtown Toronto. Great view of the CNN Tower from the 16th floor. Free breakfast was a major plus. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent staff. Sheets were provided for the sofa beds which I specifically requested.
Sofa bed was a major disappointment because the mattress was wearing out thin and you can feel the springs everytime you move.
Brekfast, small reception, waiting for lifts,
very comfortable friendly staff kitchen was great location was perfect very clean food tasted great
pull out couch was uncomfortable breakfast hours
The hotel itself was very nice. The price was reasonable and the fact that it was a street down from the Rogers Center was a bonus.
