Elevators were a large issue, there only seemed to be one that was functional, and there were no routes to use the stair cases, as we were only on the 5th floor.
had a great stay all good will go back again next time
The room was not clean, linen was not cleaned, staff is terribly rude
Had a good overall experience
Location ok right next to cn tower views from room brilliant staff great no hassle stay just what you want
No probs with anything
close to the c.n. tower and the aquarium.
expensive parking/ no parking for larger vehicles
Staff were great, very pleasant and helpful.
Everything, especially the location.
Location and cleanliness of the hotel in general was excellent. Staff were always friendly and helpful.
Breakfast queue was a nightmare. Waiting for lifts in morning was very long. No availability of food during the day.
Great location. Staff was very pleasant & helpful. Rooms were nice & clean. Would stay here again.
Parking was expensive.
We enjoyed our stay at Residence Inn very much. The breakfast was wonderful.
We are seniors and would have liked to get the seniors discount but I booked online and didn't see that option there.
Within walking distance to all major tourist attractions in Downtown Toronto. Great view of the CNN Tower from the 16th floor. Free breakfast was a major plus. Clean rooms, very comfortable beds, excellent staff. Sheets were provided for the sofa beds which I specifically requested.
Sofa bed was a major disappointment because the mattress was wearing out thin and you can feel the springs everytime you move.
Brekfast, small reception, waiting for lifts,
very comfortable friendly staff kitchen was great location was perfect very clean food tasted great
pull out couch was uncomfortable breakfast hours
The hotel itself was very nice. The price was reasonable and the fact that it was a street down from the Rogers Center was a bonus.
I liked the room, quick check in, the kitchen facilities are amazing, downtown location, wifi.
not enough breakfast choice, too crowded at breakfast time, short window for breakfast (starts and finishes too early), no parking for bigger cars (I wasn't informed at booking time that they don't cater to large cars - I was driving a suburban). but there is a public parking lot next to the building, which costs an average 25CAD per day (I negotiated this rate for 6 days).
The location was excellent within walking distances of most destinations and close to transit lines. The included breakfasts were excellent and had many choices of food for all travelers.
Valet parking fees seemed high at $50/night.
Big spacious rooms Free Wifi Breakfast included
Nothing - great hotel
We had a double booking due to an error while booking online. We ended up paying for 2 rooms that we didn't need. I felt that the staff avoided dealing with us and did not do their best to rectify the problem. We had to chase the operation's manager down in order to determine whether we were on the hook for the extra rooms. The hotel knew that we didn't need the rooms at 5pm but claimed that they were unable to occupy them with customers.
After confirming with the hotel twice they still sold my room. I had to boom a hotel for double the price on the other side of town.
The breakfast could use improvement. More seating space allotment. The room keys were faulty- we had to try numerous times without luck to open the door.
Complimentary breakfast and kitchen in our room was wonderful.
Printer in business centre was not working and no sign instead I had to call front desk twice from business centre because first time they send maintenance who could not even help. In the end though the manager came and forwarded our ticket confirmation to his email to print.....tthat much appreciated.
Location, breakfast was more than expected!!
The location was perfect. It was a very busy time the hotel was full. Yet the breakfast was good and plenty there when we attended. We stayed 4 nights and had no issuses. The lobby was busy a few afternoons and I did notice a sign the pool was closed at one point. We didn't use the pool I did use the gym area small but early am there was no problem. Our rooms we had 2 were great maid service was timely. So no problems. I often choose residence inns because they are spacious. These might have been a little smaller than other locations I have been to but we were in the heart of the city so I kind if expected them to be a little smaller. We never had to rent a car. The place was clean and on the second day I overheard a maid saying that the convention was leaving and they had to change over 125 rooms. You never would of known they did a good job. I would recommend this hotel and if I ever return to Toronto I would stay again.
The clicker for tv in bedroom didn't work. I never reported it to the staff. I just used the clicker from living room. It worked on both TV's There really wasn't anything that was bad
