location is not bad
bed was not comfy
Location was great.
Room had an obstructed view and was dark and tired looking.
I liked that I was able to bring along my english bulldog. He was welcomed with open arms. There is plenty of spots where he could do his business steps from the main entrance. A dog park is located at the end of Queen street. It doesn't have gates, so you will need to keep a close eye so that your furry friend does not go into the street. Location is great as it is at the end of Queen street, thus very quiet after 8 pm. But still close enough to pubs and restaurants on Sparks street. You have the best of both worlds. Close to great entertainment and far enough to get a great rest at night.
It is not only with this hotel but with most of them. The room doors are usually not isolated, so you hear everything that happens in the hallway. Also, the next door neighbour didn't have to make a lot of noise for us to hear him. But again, those are problems with most hotels, not only this one.
Comfortable bed, clean room, good location, helpful staff
Small parking garage and parking fee. No free breakfest.
Very clean and comfortable. Restaurant and bar attached with room service available. Nice employees.
A bit far from Byward market and expensive compared with the previous hotel we went to last year.
Sleep number bed.
Garbage not emptied... Food in it. Coffeepot overheats and shuts down. Location a bit too far from Parliament....no pool. Parking poor....rather sketchy.
Website said there was a pool but no pool
Staff was friendly and somewhat helpful
We just left the hotel this morning. The staff was wonderful, and very helpful. When we booked the hotel, the bed was advertised as a sleep number bed and it was not. I recently had a car accident and suffered a broken back, so this was important to me. At home, I have a special mattress that was doctor recommended, so when a hotel advertises a sleep number, I expect to be notified if this is false! When I mentioned it to the clerk, he said "oh sorry, I will let the manager know". I was told upon arrival that parking was 18/night, which I expected. But on the second night, we went out and came back to no available parking. When I told the man at the desk he said "oh you can park on some of the streets for free". I was a bit miffed that I wasn't told this upon arrival. However; the man was very helpful at finding my husband a parking spot. It did feel a bit "scammy" that we weren't given the free parking option from the start! I was also not informed that my view would be scaffolding and construction equipment! In fact, the woman at the desk recommended a lower floor for us! Had I known about the construction, I would have taken a higher room. I think it's safe to say, most people that get a hotel room, look forward to a nice view. I thought the staff would consider the construction and try to avoid those rooms. Lastly, next door to us, there was a woman, running an escort service! I was out in the hall when we arrived waiting( because the key didn't work the first time), and a man came to the door to my right and knocked. A woman opened it and said "nice to meet you, would you like the massage too?" He entered and about 5 minutes later, we could hear them having sex. I saw him leave later, and two more men visited that night. We could hear everything (thin walls). I thought the raddison was sort of middle class, family and business oriented.
Close to parliament hill and sparks street activities
Very small room. No wash clothes or toilet paper in bathroom.
Every thing staff my stay the room location
Located at quiet west end of downtown so very little traffic sound- quiet for sleeping! Our room (8th floor) had a nice little alcove with view over the Ottawa River. Good beds!
Ice machine outside our door- sounds of some folks getting ice at 1a.m. Minor matter.
This Hotel is located perfectly, just a couple minutes away from Parliament Hill etc. We stayed in a suite which was perfect for our family of 4, with its kitchenette and separate bed/living room. Staff was friendly and prompt.
Parking is a little sketchy. The parking garage is very tight with very limited spaces. I wasn't able to find a spot which necessitated that I use parking a few buildings away. Being on the 11th floor our rooms were the last to be serviced, which isn't a big deal, just an FYI for people expecting to come to a made up room before supper. While the furnishings were excellent and modern in our suite, the decor and washroom could use an update. But again, for the price this was still good value.
Customer service was very helpful
I couldnt stay longer
Location close to the Parliament
location was great and staff were good. clean and easy to find.
Staff , location,
The King size adjustable bed was difficult to adjust and was not consistent from one side to the other! Upon return I would request a regular bed!
Room was clean.
For some reason when I was booking it mentioned that the hotel has a swimming pool, which it didn't.
Over all, we liked everything about the six days that we stayed at the Radisson.
Location was good
The money that we paid for the room was not worth it. And we paid $18/night for parking and out vehicle was broken into and the hotel staff said there was nothing that they could do. They said they could call the police but doubt that they would come. We drove a long way to stay there and it was NOT a very good experience at all. Won't be staying there again.
Cost of the room
Parking was a headache
Nothing . I had to sleep at home and do 2:45 of car at 12h am because I didnt have the credit card I reserved with with me. I had the cash with me to pay the room but they didnt want me to pay cash .. Im really really disappointed because i was coming back to ottawa the next morning so I had to do 2h00 of car the next morning too just because of that . Thanks to radisson hotel.
Everything . It is sad . It makes me almost dislike ottawa
Mostly everything was fine. No problems.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but I'm just being picky.
I stay at Radisson with my kids and my niece we had 2 bedrooms they are comfortable.Tthe best thing we can walk everywhere stuff very helpful.
Garage was under construction. the view from one of the bedrooms was awful.
