Radisson Hotel Edmonton South  

Nice if antiquated decor, large room, great balcony.

I was pleased when I arrived as it looked nice but things went downhill very quickly. The front desk gentleman was not very well spoken and very difficult to understand. The room was big but the decor a little lackluster. For some reason our room wasnt made up the following day, the little coffee station wasnt replenished and when we reported a leak from our ceiling (it was raining heavily) the "fix" to the problem was simply to place a dirty plastic wash basin on the floor. We didnt want to move rooms but when we asked them to "fix" the problem we didnt except an ugly plastic bin in the middle of our floor. We've stayed at a Radissons before and never had such poor, sloppy and unprofessional service. Never again.

Comfortable bed (but not clean)

The cleanliness of the room. There were little black hairs on the sheets.. table tops were not particularly clean. Phone didn't work in the room.

Good sized room. Balcony.

Single serving coffee maker with only one regular; other was decaf. Seems cheap.

Convenient location.

Restaurant wait times for dinner was excessive.

Upon arrival, articles had been left behind from previous tenants that housekeeping obviously didn't see as a problem. Work was being done on the hotel internet wiring and the workmen left the ceiling tiles open in the bathroom with all the wires hanging out. Hotel rooms were comfortable, but rugs could use a good cleaning or replacing. They pride themselves in having sleep number beds, yet ours didn't seem to work properly, might have had something to do with the broken controller. They had an individual coffee maker, and provided limited supplies. I asked for more coffee our second day, which I got, but no extra condiments or paper cups were provided. Channels on the TV didn't always work. There was apparently a ration on toilet paper as no second roll was to be found when needed. Had problems with plumbing in the pool area and the pool was closed for the duration of our stay.

Needs some maintenance in bathroom and sliding doors to balcony.

Very clean rooms, excellent food, friendly staff.

Parking was a bit of an issue since I do not drive a compact vehicle. Having the signs up that say 2 hour maximum, but allowing people to park for longer is deceiving.

Lovely room. Quiet. Convenient. Nice workout centre. Abundant convenient parking. Clean, bright, spacious. Very nice staff. We will return.

It was a beautiful large room, luxuries bedding and decor, and the balcony was a real plus....also, enjoy having the pub right downstairs to eat at, enjoyed our evening with music and good company of staff. Very clean room and it also had a fridge which was great!

The room was excellent!

I did not like the service and price of the breakfast/ brunch meal served in the hotel.
