Positioned in the heart of Halifax city center on the Link walkway system, the Delta Barrington is perfectly located to explore all this historic city has to offer. A restaurant is featured on site.

The new decor, the sea view, the comfortable beds. Great staff!
The heat blasting in the restaurant. People actually walked out. Problems with the hot water in the rooms, either too hot or too cold. Staff were very helpful.
In the center of Halifax and easy to walk to everything
The room was very comfortable and homey. The bed linens were of high quality and the kitchen and bath areas nicely appointed. Decent view of the halifax harbour but might be obstructed when they complete the construction next door.
The facilities to check in and unload your bags are not good. There is very limited space to park your vehicle. I was blocking the street traffic and when a bus came had the cirlce the block twice while my husband checked in. The concierge was trying to keep up but it was chaotic.
Location, accommodations, etc. Wonderful room with suite, close to waterfront & within walking distance to many places downtown.
Unaware that we had to pay an extra fee for parking.
Very good cheerful service on places to go and things to see. Short walk to waterfront.
Poor parking outside entrance. We had to park on next block 300 metres away and carry our bags.
clean, large room, good location
Room Pool Restaurant
Extra unnecessary costs ie: ecco taxes, destination taxes etc. most annoying.
Beautiful well furnished, large room. Top quality amenities.
Expensive off-site parking ($18/day)
Did not like parking options. I am used to free parking when I stay at a hotel and to be faced with $19/day parking fee in a substandard lot was an unpleasant surprise.
Staff ,room size
Parking , late checkin
The room was lovely and spacious. King bed in bedroom was fabulous. Aaron was a pleasure to deal with. Valet was very quick.
Sofa bed was in very poor shape. All springs. We requested a mattress pad but the hotel didn't have any. They did bring us a king duvet which we folded over to improve the mattress experience
Great room, great view, staff were extremely helpful with all our requests.
Very modern decore amazing bed and just a great stay
Staff was great and accommodating
I booked and paid for a studio with sea view through booking.com and requested a baby crib. I got a room on the 2nd floor facing a brick wall. A room with sea view had been booked out for months and booking.com had not provided the room they promised delivered my request for a baby crib.
Courteous desk staff; knowledgeable about Halifax; very accommodating about bag check before actual check-in.
Our stay was too short!!!!
Loved valet service Enjoyed the new look and comforts at every turn. I could live there. Great bed. All the comforts. Spacious. Staff very kind.
Red paint by pub.
Basic 4-star hotel with a "modern" feel. Location of the hotel is great close to bars/restaurants.
There are currently number of constructions near by and they start working very early at 7 am. So if you like to sleep late during your stay I wouldn't recommend to this hotel (and couple of other ones close by) for the next few months.
The location and updated rooms were really nice. We decided to splurge on a 1 bedroom suite for our 4-night stay because our 18-month old goes to bed, as well as rises, early, so the suite with the kitchen provided us with a comfortable amount of space to hang out.
On our second night there at about 11pm, my boyfriend went into the kitchen to grab a snack and when he went to open the kitchen cabinet door, the three piece unit began to fall out of the wall. The three top screws had popped out of the drywall with only the three bottom screws tentatively holding the cabinets in place. I quickly called the front desk while he held the unit. I commend the night manager, who remained calm and professional throughout the situation. She held the unit with my boyfriend, as we tried to figure out solutions. In the end, we couldn't take the unit down because of a junction box, so we removed the cabinet doors and put them underneath the unit to give it extra support. Then she gave us a comparable room next door, so we wouldn't have to move things very far, particularly our sleeping baby! We quickly gathered our things, which had been nicely organized, and moved them into other room in a somewhat disheveled fashion. Luckily, the crib was on wheels, so we gently moved our son to the other room and he slept through the whole ordeal. I was very grateful it my boyfriend, who had been in the kitchen at the time to stop the cabinets from falling and not me or my son! I was disappointed that the only compensation for our $1000 stay (with taxes) were two $23 breakfast coupons for the on-site restaurant for our last two mornings. These coupons could only be used on the specific date (i.e., couldn't be used together) and $23 wouldn't have even covered the costs of 2 adults (and a baby) to eat there. Plus our breakfast was usually in the room, since our little wants to eat when he gets up at 5:30 a.m. When I asked the Radisson Suites staff about a rebate on our room or a gift certificate for a future visit, I was told they couldn't do anything because I had booked through a third-party (booking.com).
we had the sea view suite and enjoyed the space, décor ,and view It was nice to have a mini fridge. I really enjoyed the free shampoo, it made my scalp tingle, and the computer service was very handy. The staff was well trained and went out of their way to help with our needs.
I have no complaints
Superb location above the waterfront in downtown Halifax (NS). We requested a harbour view and got exactly that - actually overlooking the Maritime Museum. The king-size bed/mattress/duvet was amazing. The suite had microwave/fridge/sink and we received a well-itemised "catering set" on request. Wonderful.
All the noisy building work nearby - but that is no fault and under no control of the hotel
Rooms were fabulous and extremely comfortable. TV in the bathroom mirror and absolute whoa factor
Spacious design of hotel, bed comfort, bathroom amenities and shower, view from room
Lack of provision of kitchen crockery, utensils
Great location and pool
Hotel was located walking distance from harbour and restaurants. Very modern design.
After paying 200$ for a room they charged us EXTRA for parking.
