Water valve in toilet didn't seal allowing water to flow. I shut valve off for the night told staff of problem in morning. There was no real inconvience to us.
Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
Very noisy kept getting woken up with people outside talking and toilets and showers in other rooms flushing and running.
Nothing at all
pool/hot tub nice size rooms nice beds
construction going on outside window late night noise in hallway
Golf driving range on site, pool, comfortable beds, clean roon
all was good
- We stayed there on a Saturday night. There is a club/bar across the street. When the patrons were leaving between 1-2:45am, it was loud enough to keep my whole family awake as there were a lot of people talking and squeeling out of the parking lot during this time. Windows are not sound proof at all - we were on the 5th floor. - Hot Tub Jets not working - Golfing range not open - Mentioned the above when checking out. No apology offered. She said she had never heard the noise complaint before, but added that she has heard complaints from customers about the people coming out of the Ramada bar (so it might have been a combination of noisy revellers)
Clean Food in bar ok
Old building Seedy area Door to room stuck Arguing outside in middle of the night Partying in the hall way All of the above contributed to a poor nights sleep
Response of Staff excellent Being close to work & Downtown Comfortable Room
WiFi kept going out
The quiet atmosphere of the place, parking was not a problem as it often is in other hotels.
Layout of the room
Hair was at the bottom of the bathtub, upon arrival to our room. In addition, the lamp light bulb was burnt.
First time there. Great experience. Didn't know there was a pool though. Staff was friendly and pleasant.
the facilities were exceptional great dining room pool and room. appreciated the fridge and microwave. very stylish and beds were super comfy
the location . too far from downtown with out a car
I really like the food and the service.
I appreciate the location of the facility and the wide parking lot.Breakfast is excellent for the money paid.Staff serving in the Cateen are very wonderful.Environment is clean and quiet. Housekeepers were very good.I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Saskatoon.
I did not like the attitude of some of the staff at the reception area. They need to be more helpful and friendly to the guests.
Had no problem. Meal was good in the bar area.
Wish we could have gotten from the hotel to the bus pick up place for the Cher concert. Cabs were few and far between after the concert. Not hotels fault.
Could hear noise and voices from adjacent rooms. Alarm clock didn't work properly. Door and lock would stick regularly. Location Expensive considering location and conditions.
1. The bathtub stopper didn't work - baths were important, given the age of my children, and that they had been in the pool. The front desk sent up the bellman to look at it, but the problem could not be fixed because there was no maintenance staff on shift, even though it was a Saturday and the hotel was, apparently, so full that they couldn't change rooms. There was no offer of a reduced rate as compensation. 2. $140 plus booking fee and taxes is a lot for this hotel, which is in a dodgy area of town. 3. We booked here because of the pool - we have young children. The jets in the hot tub wouldn't work, which, it turns out, was okay because it let us see how filthy the water was. The pool area is insufficiently drained so there were large puddles of standing water everywhere. Even at 7:00 a.m. when the pool re-opened, the cleaning staff were present, muttering about the standing water and an apparent leak from the hot tub. 4. Breakfast in the adjoining restaurant in the morning was mediocre.
Very clean and well-appointed rooms, with a microwave and fridge. Location is fairly good, in my opinion - central, close to downtown without actually being downtown, if that's not your thing. Ample parking while we were there. Staff was helpful. Restaurant was decent (although almost empty) and they provided coupons for each guest for $5 off an entree. Coupons provided for pub as well.
No breakfast provided other than $13-15 at the restaurant, but many hotels seem to have dropped that. They tack on a small "destination marketing" fee ($4.26/night), which I was told was for advertising and that "all hotels have it" although my last non-chain hotel did not. I'd rather they add it up front to the room rate, rather than, after your stay, tack on hidden fees, no matter how small.
The pool was very grungy......dirty pool area, towels at the bottom of the pool and unclean.
The rooms were nice and comfy
When I arrived to check in I was told my booking was for only 1 room when I had booked 2. The lady at the front desk just kept saying well I have only one. Another front desk person took over and was able to get 2 rooms adjoining. A little frustrating after a 7 hour drive Saturday night we decided to use the hot tub...we were discusted with a few things 1. There were about 30 children in the pool with no adult supervision...and no member of staff came to check this and we were there 45 minutes. 2. The floors were soaking from the children as they were leaving the pool with no towel 3. The floors in the pool area were very slippy and dirty. We also noticed a child just spit on the floor 4. Food and drink were in the are and plates, bottles and can pulls were left on the floor 5. The elevators were also in a mess from the water, food being crumpled and wet towels and dirty underwear just left there Was really hard to find a parking space.
The pool was nice, the hot tub was relaxing. The server who ended up helping us was very friendly and did a good job.
It sounded like there were people running above us and things in our room were rattling. We could hear the baby next door when we were trying to sleep. The wait in the restaurant was very long but it didn't look busy..Parking was horrible.
Very clean n comfortable
Poor access to our room. We were on the end furthest from the lobby but had to go thry lobby every time we left the building. Very inconvenient. Parking was poor. Bad neighborhoods. Won't stay there again.
