Offering an indoor pool, Travelodge Calgary Macleod Trail is in Calgary. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Scotiabank Saddledome is a 15-minute drive away.

Downtown . . . many restaurants to choose from.
It's an old hotel. Overpriced.
The outdoor pool was nice, so was the balcony. Polite and efficient staff and good location.
The walls seemed thin but it is understandable since the building seemed to be older.
Location was great, walking distance to everywhere in downtown. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was nice and powerful.
The valet service was awful. You shouldn't leave all the cars unlocked and your valets were watching movies instead of working while on shift. Incredibly rude.
The location and size of room
This hotel does not allow a good night sleep due to poor sound proofing and exterior noises
easy to find
building is old
Liked the position. Close to Restaurants
Sadly no fridge. Not good for mature couples with medicine that needs to be refrigerated.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the bed was quite comfortable. My friend and I were able to walk to most places because the hotel is in the heart of downtown!
The room was very small and the bathroom could only hold one person at a time. There are only lamps in the room so the lighting is not the greatest which makes it hard to so make up. I don't suggest brining anything that needs to be in a fridge cause we didn't have a mini fridge, but generally it was a good experience.
Meating the Stars of the Calgary Blues Fest
We enjoyed the concierge Matt he has the ability to make hi guests feel comfortable.
We were quoted 161 for an executive suite and upon arrival that price was increase by 25 dollars. We ordered room service and were told it would take Ito 30 minutes.... 1 hour and 15 minutes later I called to inquire on it's whereabouts and was told it was in it's way up. The good arrived cold and way over priced. I called back down and informed them that it was unacceptable, they remade the food but again although hot it was of poor quality, and made the two of us feel ill. 290 dollars later feeling ill we left disappointed.
Ac did not work in the Room,I complained about Ac not working ,I was told to open the window No Mini bar Rm was very dirty No Bell Boy to help with luggage Customer Service is awful,Very rude This is like a Two star hotel
Beds were very comfortable and clean. Close to where were visiting with friends. Good price. An aside, I was extremly impressed with the cleanliness of the city of Calgary (at least in the SW area where were) - I saw no garbage to speak of. Edmonton could take some lessons from your city.
Bathroom could have been cleaner - the base of the toilet had pooled urine dried on it. We didn't know there was a coffee maker available until we started opening the doors of the dresser/sideboard when were ready to leave. We would have used it if we had been told where it was. A note posted somewhere would be my recommendation.
Great location Great pool area to relax
Not a lot
The hotel location wasn't too good. The bar was closed at the week-ends. The room wasn't very clean. To sum up, it is an over priced tired hotel in need of a good overhaul.
I liked the staff and how helpful they were.
Excellent location - airport bus stops 100m away. Stampede parade goes a block away. C-train stop 50m. A la carte breakfast good.
Ordinary buffet breakfast, also street bar
Read poor reviews about staff at this hotel. It was not true for us. They were helpful and polite. Pool was good.
Excessive cost for everything from room to parking car.
Everything. Staff really helpful. Location excellent, within a very easy walk to cruise terminal, hop on buses and downtown Vanouver. The Flight over Canada is a must do attraction.
Don't bother with the breakfast
It was clean and had a tiny balcony.
There wasn't a coffee/tea maker in the room. The hallway had a funny odor.
Check inn required 200 cad cash deposit for 1 night even though no minibar or anything to spend on. I solely use debit cards so this was an issue. Front desk man quite arrogant
Everything else. Hotel is old staff was more worried of what was happenig tv than my needs when I checked in. Toilet was leaking. I felt like I wasnt welcome.
Parking was only $18/day, and after staying one night, leaving my bags in storage, and returning after my meetings to drive home, I didn't have to pay for an additional day. Also, it has a great location.
Rooms were a bit dated, and downtown Calgary as a whole is overpriced (it however was the 'most reasonable). Also, I was on the 3rd floor with a door opening to the pool. I don't like others looking into my room, so sadly the blinds had to stay closed.
Walking distance to stampede, swimming pool, free paper, house keeping was good
Way too hot in roon, air con was useless, bed was too soft, wifi non existent on 9th fl.
Location was great for downtown Calgary in Stampede time. Staff generally helpful and friendly. Nice to have outdoor pool, even though it was in the shade from tall buildings most of the day (pity it wasn't on the roof rather than 3rd floor)
Well it was Stampede time, making it terribly overpriced. Basic facilities missing for hotel of this class, eg in room safe and fridge
