In downtown calgary just 1 Minute walk from Free downtown LRT facility ...was also near to my business places ... Got extra 2 hour for check out ... which was really great ..
I like the clean environment
Great Value and location in downtown Calgary.
THE HOTEL WAS GREAT FOR THE MOST PART. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN, THE SERVICE WAS GREAT.
THE HOTEL IS SO DRY!! MY CO-WORKERS AND MYSELF WERE WAKING UP TO DRY NOSES THAT RESULTED IN NOSE BLEEDS FOR SOME OF US. HUMIDIFIERS ARE NEEDED IN A BAD WAY!
The front end staff were very friendly. The beds were comfy. Each room had a balcony which I love!
The valet staff were useless. The food at the restaurant was mediocre at best.
Being charged more then the first room rate given, also parking was a nightmare, which is an extra charge that they didn't mention at the time of check in.
Show up expecting my rate to be locked in, then I have to pay another $20 for parking.
Dried urine on the toilet seat, old silicone around the bath tub
Room was draughty and very dated. Baby couldn't sleep in crib due to draught. Would never go back
Very clean property
Very noisy at night
This hotel is in a good area for a shopping and restaurants.
A renovation is in progress and it is in need of it. The gym has limited equiptment and is old.
Bed was comfy, bathroom was clean
Hotel is dated. Internet cut in and out, cable reception was poor.
bed and location
Noise, shabby, lifts had a mind of their own, couldn't get anything apart from regular coffee, never dine at the hotel. Just old and in poor condition. If you brought your wife I think she would cry.
The night manager and kitchen staff are rude.
Staff were friendly, accommodating and professional. I got the impression that the bed was very new - and thus very clean and comfortable to sleep on which is a big plus.
The building is showing it's age a bit and can be a bit noisy when inconsiderate guests are partying next door.
I like every aspect ...
Great for business. 2 min walk to train and taxis right out front. Room service runs late and has a good selection. Staff is friendly. This is the second time i stayed in this hotel while visiting Calgary and i will stay again.
Front desk staff.
Kitchen staff is not knowledgeable about products available and presentation is not consistent.
Staff were very friendly and rooms had new carpeting. Beds and bedding were also very good.
elevators were a problem and failed twice completely. Tub surrounds were in dire need of caulking. That being said the hotel is undergoing renovations and should likely address this in due time.
I had a room with a tv that had no signal the entire night. Wi-fi fluctuated in and out.
hotel location in a good place for business
hotal need renovation, it is getting old 2 fist days, Needs acoustic isolation. I had to ask for the houskeeping laundry cam back with 1 day delay after claim wifi worked well 2 days and then became very slow. Password was changed without notification. 2 out of 4 workout machines were out of order
Convenient, Good staff, comfortable beds
Ice machine broken, pipes banging near our room on 9th floor all night
This hotel is less than one block away from the tram that runs back and forth along 7th Street, which was very convenient to the Convention Centre. The gym was tiny but well-equipped. The hotel was walking distance from a grocery store and MEC. There is a shuttle bus from the airport to downtown for $8. The bus is a rattle-trap bus but good value. The bus stop is about one block from the hotel.
I had no complaints about the hotel. The staff were super-helpful with recommendations and directions. There is little to do in downtown Calgary during the evening.
No individual AC units in the room.
