Location was good and the hotel was nice!
The room we were in smelt odd!! Turned the ac off and it went away!! Maybe needs some new filters or maybe it was just the kitchen in the restaurant below!! Strange tho!!!
I didnt like the bathroom (tub)water didnt drain while taking a shower.not enough towels
Warm, friendly staff. Great room just a block from the beach and the Public Pool (hot springs). Very quiet room on the inner courtyard. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Nothing at all
Very very dirty there where small flies around the windows cob webs above curtains fridge did not work room was very noisy carpet was dirty. Entrance into building was gross dirty will never stay again
Cleanliness, availability, facility accessability.
the building felt like it needed an upgrade.
Room was clean and bed was comfortable.
Wifi is not the greatest, kept losing connection. We had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was lukewarm at best.
Locality -was very well placed for the waterfront. Room maid was very helpful, but did not know the duration of the laundry wash cycle.
Poor spoken English and the understanding of it. A room close to us was being used by 4 very noisy teenage girls for a birthday party - running up and down the corridor and screeching during the evening. Other guests banging doors and talking in the courtyard at 5 o'clock in the morning
payed way to much for what we got.
Cheap beds & pillows Faulty electrical outlets, coffee maker Wifi signal drops in and out
The whole area is beautiful. The reception was friendly and a small flaw in our room was quickly attended to.
The proprietor at the close by Sweet Shop was incredibly unfriendly and borderline rude, particularly as I had my (very well-behaved....doesn't even eat candy!!!) three and a half year old daughter come in with us. Thank goodness our hotel was inviting and comfortable!
Wifi and location were great
Rooms were run down Cleanliness was suspect
Booked jacuzzi king room, was expecting the tub in room like the picture had shown and it was not
I reserved a queen room with 2 beds and a jacuzzi tub but they told me I was wrong and I got a room with a regular tub.
Location was convenient Parking facilities are excellent
"Lake View" room is a joke (I was on top floor but still had to look through trees and past other buildings. WiFi was awful. Kept kicking me out every 10-15 minutes Under staffed and those that were there were under trained
nice area and enjoyed the beach and area
floors need mopping and other attention to details would be recommended
When we cancelled the second night of our stay, the manager informed me that, because we booked our room on booking.com, they would still have to charge us the $50 commission that booking.com charges them, even though the lady at the desk said there was no penalty for early check out when I had called the night before. Then, when I complained about the hotel (see next box) he agreed to waive the $50. That was the only thing we liked about this hotel.
The place was filthy. The floors in the lobby, the halls and our room all had carpet stains and the wood floor were just dingy looking and needed a thorough scrubbing. The stainless steel in the elevators had streaks and fingerprints all over it. There were ceiling tiles missing in the hallways (apparently they were doing some electrical work, but they could have easily put the tiles back at the end of the day). My wife actually went out and bought cleaner and paper towel to clean our room. Although the advertise free wifi, it never worked. The beds are super noisy. I don't know why, but both beds in our room made a ton of noise whenever you moved around on them. The whole hotel looked like it had never been updated or really cleaned very well since it had been built. I am surprised Ramada allows this hotel to be associated with them. We switched to the Harrison Hot Springs Resort for our second night and got a room that was more expensive, but when we checked the night before there was a room available at the Resort for the same price we were paying at the Ramada! The resort is much nicer and much cleaner and you get to use the pools that are fed by the hot springs (which is the only place in town to swim in the hot springs by the way).
Very comfortable king size bed. Fairly good view. Close to beach front.
Very dated and run down. Electrical outlets were not all intact. Tv had a loud buzz while trying to watch it, bathroom light worked sometimes. It has potental...but is in need of some serious renovations and updates.
Staff were friendly and curteous. Courtyard is lovely.
Our room was located near the elevators and there was a lot of noise in the hallways every night of our stay.
Hotel was under construction. Only one staff member working front desk at peak time, people were lined up plus she had to answer phone.
Not very clean, receptionist not friendly, internet not working
Great location, room was clean and hotel was quiet
Hotel is overdue for some basic touch-ups Very soft mattresses made sleep difficult and very little extra space in room. hotel restaurant served sub par breakfasts, better options are had along the beach.
Easy access to public pool, close to all amenities, underground parking, and walking paths. The lake is beautiful.
The front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful, the bath tub had rust in it and just did not look very clean. There was food that was left out in the hall from some room that was there for our entire stay. Not impressed with the Ramada Hotel .
When we arrived in July, it was approx. 32 degrees. We noticed our room was very warm and the air conditioning was not working. We advised the front desk and they sent a maintenance man to fix it. After spending about 45 minutes trying to fix it and could not.. His solution was to bring us a fan. We spent a very hot uncomfortable night there and will not return.
location quiet room mistake in reservation was fixed quickly
long check in time hot tub should be open longer and notice give if it will be shut done for service
We stayed for 4 nights in a 2 queen bed room which was adequate for a family of 4. The hotel is well presented house keeping excellent and staff knowledgable. I would recommend it if you want a simple hotel stay,we didn't try their spa or restaurant.
The hot tub and gym area could do with updating.
