A fellow guest travelling from N. Alberta said that this was the best hotel he had stayed in. We agree. Room very clean, good size, very quiet (didn't hear a peep out of our friends staying in next room). And a free breakfast thrown in that, for a freebie, had more variety than we expected. Yes, we'd stay here again. It's in Merritt! Small town with not much choice of restaurants on a Sunday evening.

Een uitstekend motel, ontbijt was meer uitgebreid dan wij verwacht hadden, je kon zelf waffels maken en er was voldoende fruit, wat ook aangevuld werd. Aan de overkant van de Ramada Plus Inn is een Chinees Restaurant, heel goed eten, tegen zeer goede prijs!

The room and breakfast room/breakfast were excellent value for money and stood up against much more expensive motels in which we have stayed during this holiday. We were surprised to note that Ramada Limited Merritt was not an hotel, but a motel. This was not obvious from the Booking.Com advertisement. Once we had seen the room and the delightful, clean outside and inside, plus the delightful flower baskets everywhere, we did not mind the difference. The person who greeted us asked us to pay immediately, before we had seen the room even. We understand that this is a convenience to those who wish to leave early, but we did not appreciate not being given the option to pay after using the service. This person was otherwise very pleasant, as was the morning person at the desk. The smokers, smoking outside, but near our room left a nasty smell/fug and cigarette butts on the landing. Perhaps when potential clients have specified a no-smoking room, they could be placed away from smokers...or smokers could be told to smoke off the outside premises as well as not in the rooms.

I was in town on business as I am often, usually stay at bw but was full so booked Ramada online, Hotel is great although they told me they tried to call booking.com to cancel as they had no room, after some discussion on why they did not call my # they gave me a room they told me they were not renting out as ac was not working but still charged me full price for after taking so much of my time. I sound like a complainer but really I'm not.. Was a long day and late check in and even earlier check out... Seems like a nice hotel for this area

We liked that it is close to the highway! Had a nice continental breakfast included. Pool was clean and great to have a swim in. All in all a pretty reasonable place for the cost. The kids liked the water slide even though it is completely black (no light once inside). The water slide has zero light once you are in it - so possibly a little scary for younger children.
