Prompt and courteous service at the front desk. The morning checkout was really nice as the young lady smiled, initiated the conversation and offered to assist with my visit to Vancouver. Very pleasant morning experience and great way to the start the day. |

The location is excellent, a few blocks to the pubs and restaurants in Gastown. The SkyTrain from the airport goes straight to Waterfront, two blocks from the hotel. Staff were very helpful. The breakfast is a rather basic, but adequate. At weekends you hear a thumping beat from a nearby disco all night, even on the 4th floor. My toilet got blocked 3 times, but staff were very quick to hand with a plunger. |

The room was attractive, clean, peaceful, and quiet. Having valet parking was nice and very convenient.. Desk manager knocked on our door like the police and demanded that my husband open the door. When he did open the door the employee began to speak very loudly from the hall in a very rude and disrespective manner about something my husband said to some employees. This should have been handled in a private manner and not in the hall. |

the staff were extremely helpful on arrival and during our stay. We were upgraded to a suite which was very comfortable and would entice us to stay longer if we had time. the Hotel was quiet and breakfast (included) was enough to give a good start to the day. The location was great for the City, China Town,the Harbour and Gas Town. While very close to all amenities it was a little close to the wrong part of Town. We made sure we walked the right way. This wasn't a problem and every City has no go areas. Over all our stay was a very pleasant one. Although we had a car we didn't use it as the Hotel was so Central to everything. Excellent value for money. |

My room was clean and quiet. Location downtown was good. I was provided with an umbrella when it rained which was greatly appreciated. The room was a tiny bit small for a king bed, but I was alone so that was fine. I found all the staff helpfull and friendly except one, which was when I was leaving, so not a good last impression. Although that would not deter me from coming back. |

For a downtown hotel, it was great value. The room was clean and staff were friendly. The location was also good for my needs. Parking was a block away and the cost was high. |

Staff were nice. Location close to all the central amenities. Rooms clean. Breakfast room was like a sauna, shame as food selection was fair enough and staff most helpful. Although location was downtown, the hotel is quite near some of the rougher areas. |

Older property but renovated and nice clean rooms. The staff know the meaning of customer service. They truly made you feel like guests and did everything to make the experience enjoyable. Kudos to the great staff....they know the true meaning of customer service. The area it is in is a little rough but we had no issues walking to and from a concert at BC Place Stadium. |

Friendy and efficient front-desk staff. Rooms cleaned well. Poor sound-proofing. I stayed in room 402 and the people above were inconsiderate morons. Not the fault of the staff, I agree, but I shouldn't have been able to hear them quite so much as I did. The breakfast room is small, cramped and hot. The breakfast itself was 'continental' with a very small 'c'. |

The check-in was fast and easy, and the hotel has a great location as well. The room was clean and the bathroom was more than okay (e.g. the massage-shower). The ice-cub machine on the fifth floor was fun. I remembered a greater variety of breakfast (but it stil was okay). |
