the maid was awesome and friendly
kind of small , difficult to open sofa bed, and move around room
Friendly staff especially Michael who made sure our stay was comfortable.
Party in room next to ours
Breakfast could be better
Internet very unstable; Room aren't sound proofed and needs more brightness. Sheets, covers, pillows need replaced.
Leisure centre, ease of parking, spacious rooms
Not the safest area to be walking around after dark
good breakfast friendly staff close walk to main attactions
area not great and can be uncomfortable at night
The place was generally clean. The location was good. The staff was friendly and helpful.
In-wall air-conditioner was musty and noisy. The pool was cloudy and dirty. There was an overwhelming chlorine smell in the pool area. We chose not to use the pool. The decor was dated.
A/C is too noisy and thermostat didn't work.
The staff was very nice and the room was big and comfortable. The hotel is renovated and very clean.
It could be closer to the center but it was still a walking distance. It's a bit expensive but for Toronto it's fair
The rooms are equipped and very nice. The location is great. Hotel staff was very friendly.
Wi-Fi signal in the room was weak.
Comfortable beds Good food in the restaurant Staff generally helpful
Swimming pool very small and shallow Parts of the hotel are probably in need of a bit of refurbishment
Hotel was clean and tidy
Staff weren't very friendly and once it turned dark u couldn't go out walking as there were homeless people begging you for money didn't feel safe, the room could also do with a mini fridge.
Wifi connection was very sporadic
Good size double suite - 2 double bedrooms with very large beds, plus a sitting room with 2 sofa beds, an armchair and desk, all with a great view over the park. Quiet room. Children liked the pool and squash court. Good value breakfasts available. Good restaurants in walking distance.
Not a problem for us, but it was a 20 minute walk to downtown, 15 minute walk to subway. But we walked everywhere.
The staff were pleasant. The manager listened to our comments about the room and gave us a small reduction on the price of the room.
The room was not clean (a clump of tangled strands of hair found on the bathroom floor) and the sheets looked and felt like they had not been changed from the night before. We were too tired to complain until the next morning and had a bad night's sleep.
They should change the Staff and the restaurant. The location full of prostitutes at night. Cleanliness is very poor. I don't recommend this hotel at all for anyone.
Stayed in less expensive hotels that have better beds and pillows. Big room but not great comfort!
Staff was very friendly and accommodative they upgraded our rooms to meet our requirements at no additional cost. Michael at front desk was very helpful and supportive. I would stay again
Free wifi.Close to entertainment district, Large TV. Nice upgraded bathroom
Uncomfy beds. Room lighting. Room could be brighter.
Good shower Nice big comfortable main bed. Good lifts Useful large Loblaws within 5 minutes walk. Good fast internet via wifi.
Expensive car parking (although not unusual for the area) PJs went missing from the room and no apologies. Door between the living and bedroom couldn't easily be closed as the bed was in the way. Once the sofa bed was extended there was no space in the living area. Had to ask for extra towels and pillows (despite it being for a booking for 4). No in-room safe but they did have safety deposit boxes in reception.
Huge room. Great service.
I liked that the area was safe and that it really was centrally located to visit and view Toronto, public transport worked really well. The locals were fantastic, almost jump to help you if they saw you with a map in your hand, loved them.
The appearance of so many people who were homeless, sleeping on street and in the parks. Had a family across the hall who's children thought it was funny to knock loudly on our door, hope they get arthritis in knuckles in latter years of life.
Great downtown location with some nice breakfast places literally around the corner, and shopping only minutes away. Spacious rooms with decent wifi, fridge and microwave.
Tiny bathroom. Cheap pillows that gave us both neck kinks the next morning.
Fairly good value for money. The reception staff were good. When we arrived having traveled from the UK that day we were told that our booking could not be found! However the manager was very good at assuring us that they had a room and he gave us an upgrade which we appreciated.
The location was not quite as central as I would have liked as a tourist to Toronto. The hotel had a rather run down feel to it. The room was decorated in grey and brown and really could do with a refurbishment.
