Size and seating in room - easy to share with friends for a drink. Walking location to market, restaurants, shopping., sights Excellent parking. Excellent, comfortable beds, room. Wonderful value - wonderful staff!
Can't think of anything... love TO
The desk clerk went out of his way to resolve a difficult situation when I was checking into the room . We were treated with respect and very impressed with the high end room for the economical price. Secure parking for the hotel. I would stay again without hesitation.
I loved the separate bedroom area, as well, the check in and out was very quick. I arrived early and still was able to book in with no problem
There was nothing I didn't like about my stay
Good price and close to downtown
Walls are thin so you can hear the neighbours
Adjoining restaurant has excellent food and service.
Upgraded to queen suite from king room. Quiet room.
Poor bathroom light. No water glasses. Extremely slow service in Shades restaurant. Dirty linens piled on floor outside each door in corridor when we arrived, dangerous for visually impaired person. Very dim corridor lighting.
Room was clean and we had everything we needed.
Staff need customer service training. They were all rude. Felt like we were bothering them every time we asked them a question.
Helpful Reception staff, the men could do with smiling a bit more, the females were great. But all very helpful
pool and hot tube area was poor
The Ethiopian waiter at breakfast. He was the nicest guy and the only good thing about the place.
When we arrived, the receptionists barely looked up, let alone greeted us. Ten minutes after checking in, we got a hoax phone call from someone claiming to be the hotel manageress and asking for our credit card details to pay for incidentals. This was a hoax call. It happened to other guests just after checking in. The rooms were ok but a bit shabby. The hotel was located on a street where lots of homeless and drunk men hung around asking us for money. Not fun to leave or return to the hotel with 3 young children.
parking is not free
Limited parking in garage.
The suite was am excellent upgrade offered to alw me to check in very early. Much appreciated. Very comfortable room.
It's a place where people like to party it seems. Could hear lots calling and voices thru the floor but frankly it wasn't that bad. They have over charged me for some reason so now i must deal with that!
Room was huge, bed super comfortable.
Had issues connecting with wi-fi. Had to reconnect a couple of times to get to work.
the room was smelling badly to the extent that I had to check out earlier than planned.
Had booked a week advanced, requested a late checkout due to appointment. The request was not approved before I got there and they said they never received it..Again I requested a late checkout before accepting the room and was told I would have to request that the next morning.
The room is very spacious and it is very clean. The service are good
Wifi is so poor and hard to connect.
The two bed room that we received was spacious and comfortable. Location is a few blocks away from most of the action but an easy walk. Very convenient to the subway.
The building itself is unattractive from the outside but once you get in it's clean and comfortable.
Couldn't sleep on the pull out sofa as the springs were sticking out and really uncomfortable. Had to sleep on regular sofa each night in order to get any sleep. They seriously need to update there sofa beds.
The staff were very helpful and the location was convenient. The food was very nice and the facilities were good.
Our room looked tired and in need of decoration. Like other hotels there is no kettle, just a coffee maker and there is only paper cups to make drinks in. A few areas, like the elevator did not look like they had been cleaned well.
Quick check in, nicely furnished room
The room and the service was very good.
Location...it is near Toronto's worst area. Lots of homeless walking around at any time, and sometimes shouting things at you. Though the hotel and the facilities are good, I would definitively recommend to search for other location, even more if you are travelling alone or pretend to arrive late at the hotel.
Very helpful staff at the front desk! As I can't sleep with aircon and my room window didn't open, I was upgraded to a (huge) suite, which had its own balcony and great city views. Walking distance to St Lawrence Market, Eaton Centre, etc.
Location is on the edge of a slightly dodgy neighbourhood. Walking in the daytime was fine but I would advise taking cabs at night.
Friendly staff Helpful staff Quiet room
No bathtub!!!!!!! Dark hallways
Staff were friendly and helpful. Property was clean and tidy. Price was right for staying in Toronto. Good location. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
