The room is clean and the carpet seems renewed, location is great, not far from the downtown, and there is safeway and some resturant around. Room is quite small and the heater does never work during our two nights stay. The wall of room seems like paper-thin, you can hear everything from the ceiling, the halwayl and from the other rooms.

Reception staff were excellent. Helpful and happy to go beyond the norm. We were in bc house hunting but it was also my wife's birthday. The receptionist sorted out a cake, then went hunting for streamers and candles! All the staff we dealt with were attentive, helpful and friendly, even in the restaurant and bar, which are privately owned. On arrival we were given a "studio" that was barely larger than the bed, and next to a bunch of noisy teens. We were moved to a double room that was twice the size of the studio! The a/c was so noisy you can't sleep, but without it the room was unbearably hot. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've seen in a hotel at this price, and we had to ask for the pillows to be changed because they smelt of sweat. The hotel is a long way out from downtown (not as described!), and the 40min walk takes you through some unsavoury looking areas. Fortunately there's a bus stop right outside, but we didn't find out until the second day.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The Ramada Victoria is above the average Ramada standard that I know! IOne needs a car to go downdown!! 30 to 40 minutes one way is too far. This was not very claer in the Ramada Hotel write-up online!

Convenient location, within walking distance to main part of town via the galloping goose trail. The computers that where for guests usage, were disconnected due to new carpeting installation that was done but after the carpet was in place a management type told the maintenance man to rearrange the desk that the computers were sitting on. The computers were left disconnected for 3 days until I took the initiative to reconnect them order to do some personal business.

Good location, close to cfb and the city. Very clean and quiet, room nicely done, fresh looking, cozy. It was an icy morning in the parking lot. It could have been salted for safety. I left the hotel at 0730.

I liked the location and convenience to downtown. The Restaurant was closed due to renovations, and our mirrors were not clean, but other than that it met our needs.

The hotel was way below standards because the hotel had a fire in it the week before our arrivial and we were not informed. Our 1st room spelt like smoke the hallways smelt like smoke and the hotel staff were nice but I could tell they felt bad. So they move us to the other side of the hotel where the rooms had no fire oudor but the noise from ventltion units outside our windows was so loud we couldn't here our tv very well. The girl at the front desk came up and listen and couldn't believe how loud it was our head boards on the beds were vibrating. She offered to move us again but now it was midnight and we were to tried to pack up and move again. So I feel that we should not have been charged for our room that night or been given some kind of compensation. In the morning the person at the front desk just said we have to contact her manager. She wasn't to helpful. Sorry to give you such bad news. Yours Truley Shawn Braddick

The room was clean and reasonably quiet. The fridge was so loud, it had to be unplugged to be able to sleep. The bathroom fan was extremely loud. The television was totally out of adjustment and old.

We had a family function on the Gorge Rd, so it was within walking distance. The rate I paid was great. When I made my reservation the room rate was at a certain price. I called to change the dates by one day and the room rate had gone up from $380.00 for two rooms for two nights to over $1000.00. That shocked me that a hotel could do that.

Location is fair as regards closeness to tourist sites, but as there is a bus stop right at the door access to the downtown areas and thus all tourists sites is very easy. The kingbed room was large and had a fridge, microwave and a sofa and sliding doors that opened onto a small balcony that you could sit on, just. The Ramada was not close to any shops, but had a liquor store on the same site. The hotel had the usual American vending machines for snacks, etc. and ice and good laundry facilities. I overlooked the carpark at the back but being able to open the doors and have fresh air I considered a bonus. Noise was not a problem either.

It was very handy to my son. Bus Service was exceptional. Since I was travelling alone and I was not feeling well for 2 days your staff was very respectful of my need for privacy. Staff were a little noisy in the a.m.

The receptionist, a young lady from S. America, was phenomenal. Being the person responsible for the first impression of the hotel's service, she was superb. Cannot comment, did not stay long enough.
