The proximity to my meeting, right next door. The room was overly warm and the air conditioner was quite loud so made difficult to sleep.

My stay was quite nice. However, you make it difficult to return on my next trip to Victoria, because of your shower facilities. You offer no rooms with rail supports in the shower----I sometimes, need something to steady myself. Cp.

The price/value was acceptable The hotel was undergoing renovations. The restaurant was closed, the lobby has awful acoustics, the staff seemed somewhat clueless when I checked in and my reservation was nowhere to be found. Parking that made getting into the building easily was limited and the front doors are not automatic, which makes it difficult getting in or out when you have luggage. The pool was an eyesore.

I enjoyed the staff welcome and the ease with which I registered and reached my room quickly. The parking was great and the location was quiet and restful. I saw young children enjoying the hotel as well which made me feel it was a family oriented place. I think the pool needs a bit of work to keep it clean during the winter but I really don't know how this could be done. My room looked out on it and it seemed very poorly looked after with junk in it and the usual green algae. I guess that is fairly normal but I would have rather looked out on a pool without junk in it.

It was convenient and the right price for a trip to Victoria for a medical appt. We have stayed there many times, sometimes with a minor hockey team and have always been satisfied. We will stay again.

Good location, close to cfb and the city. Very clean and quiet, room nicely done, fresh looking, cozy. It was an icy morning in the parking lot. It could have been salted for safety. I left the hotel at 0730.

The hotel was way below standards because the hotel had a fire in it the week before our arrivial and we were not informed. Our 1st room spelt like smoke the hallways smelt like smoke and the hotel staff were nice but I could tell they felt bad. So they move us to the other side of the hotel where the rooms had no fire oudor but the noise from ventltion units outside our windows was so loud we couldn't here our tv very well. The girl at the front desk came up and listen and couldn't believe how loud it was our head boards on the beds were vibrating. She offered to move us again but now it was midnight and we were to tried to pack up and move again. So I feel that we should not have been charged for our room that night or been given some kind of compensation. In the morning the person at the front desk just said we have to contact her manager. She wasn't to helpful. Sorry to give you such bad news. Yours Truley Shawn Braddick

The room was clean and reasonably quiet. The fridge was so loud, it had to be unplugged to be able to sleep. The bathroom fan was extremely loud. The television was totally out of adjustment and old.

We had a family function on the Gorge Rd, so it was within walking distance. The rate I paid was great. When I made my reservation the room rate was at a certain price. I called to change the dates by one day and the room rate had gone up from $380.00 for two rooms for two nights to over $1000.00. That shocked me that a hotel could do that.

Location is fair as regards closeness to tourist sites, but as there is a bus stop right at the door access to the downtown areas and thus all tourists sites is very easy. The kingbed room was large and had a fridge, microwave and a sofa and sliding doors that opened onto a small balcony that you could sit on, just. The Ramada was not close to any shops, but had a liquor store on the same site. The hotel had the usual American vending machines for snacks, etc. and ice and good laundry facilities. I overlooked the carpark at the back but being able to open the doors and have fresh air I considered a bonus. Noise was not a problem either.

The hotel staff was very, very good, particularly the cleaning staff. I should not have booked a room with a balcony over the swimming pool since it was rather active and noisey during pool hours.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The Ramada Victoria is above the average Ramada standard that I know! IOne needs a car to go downdown!! 30 to 40 minutes one way is too far. This was not very claer in the Ramada Hotel write-up online!

Good rate, good location, and cleanliness. The drive-in is too high and the look of the front entry is not stood out enough.
