Very modern building and condo, very clean, lot's of space, great location in the heart of downtown Toronto, lot's of places to eat and buy groceries nearby (skip the crappy convenience store across the street - walk down to the Rabba on Front St.), quiet, balcony
No view (not major), the heating unit is very loud, no desk and not set-up for a "work space" (plugs, etc.), though there is a dining room table.
Had 3 units available. Location Price Owner on site
The size and comfort of the apartment -- far superior to most downtown hotel rooms. Responsive and helpful property manager. Location excellent --only two blocks to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, where I was attending a conference. Great restaurants and entertainment nearby.
The toilet didn't flush all that well, and the bed in the master bedroom needed replacement (defective or broken supports). The property manager was aware of the problem with the bed and planned to replace it.
The location was excellent and convenient for all of downtown Toronto. It is not, however, that close to a subway station. The suite I had was spacious and the furnishings comfortable. The property management checked in regularly and were keen to put problems right. WiFi was free and very fast.
When I checked in the apartment wasn't particularly clean, especially the kitchen. This was put right straight away but shouldn't have happened. The bedroom (and lounge) have vertical blinds at the windows and those in the bedroom were poorly maintained, such that beams of light from the office block opposite were cast right across the bed, making it impossible to sleep there. Luckily there was also a small box room that I could use. The window problem was addressed the following day by putting brown paper at the window. The huge fridge freezer was very noisy at very regular intervals meaning that bedroom doors needed to be closed. I employed a variety of tactics to stop the vibration but again, I do not expect to have to do this. On check out day I had to wait until noon, when the building security came on duty, before I was able to leave my bag securely. Check out is 11am so I had to wait an hour in the lobby. This is a key reason why I say that this building is better viewed from a long let perspective, than for a few days on business.
Clean comfortable accommodation.
Part of a residential appartment block. As such security only available for a limited number of hours per day.
Nice size unit. Location and decor. great TV and pvr unit. Suite
All the noise...from the garbage truck pick up in middle of the night, from the fridge and the air conditioning/heating unit which was huge and in a closet in the suite Need better blinds to block the light coming from office building next door at night. While clean, did not smell fresh... maybe old cleaning cloths. Went to close the vertical blinds and some slats fell off. The floor was washed with something that left a sticky coating. Bare essentials in kitchen. One elevator didn't work.
Proximity to TIFF venues.
Furniture was cheap.
Clean and very comfortable.
Apartment was spacious, clean and Nadir was hugely helpful with any queries we had. Second key was delivered promptly.
Excellent location Staff super helpful
The space was good. They even provided an extra cot and blanket. It was nicely furnished and clean. Parking in the garage was good but tight for my SUV. The building had security.
It was pretty bare bones. The bed s were really hard and the pillows thin. There was not a packet of anything but coffee filters. It would have been nice to have coffee or tea provided for the morning. The building was hard to find in rush hour.
Read Maple has everything a family nead. Good space vasing mashin dryer and very clean erya in the apartment. When we neaded an extra kea. We got it the next day. (We askt lait in the ewning). Thank you foree eweryting. Anders and famely.
The apartment is in a very central location making it very easy to get about to the sights of the city. It is well furnished, clean and comfortable.
Due to it's central location, it was a little noisy at night, but nothing that a good pair of earplugs won't fix (either that, or stay up and enjoy the city, you don't have far to get home!)
Got stuck in an elevator, got no discount
It was nice to be close to the Rogers Centre and cn tower. Was able to walk to see great sires
They could pay attention to the finishing in the apartment and also dust under the items in the apartment since you do pay a cleaning fee.
We had a wonderful family visit in Toronto. The suite was great for our family. Cooking meals in the apartment helped us save a little on eating out. When we needed assistance the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Thank You!
Just a suggestion for some information available for travelers like tourist information, location of stores, shopping, tours, etc.
Great location close to attractions and restaurants, very quiet apartment, high quality for a rental, outfitted with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Very clean and reasonable parking rates for Toronto. WiFi was excellent.
Small point but blinds in master bedroom let in a lot of light - could use upgrading.
A 50$ charge for cleaning It´s a private apartment there is no reception
We had nice few days stay in Red Maple suites. Mr. Khan is a great host, responds promptly in his care to make our stay a great experience.
Was an excellent serviced apartment. Would stay there again.
Was not really an hotel as we know it but a virtual hotel, ie was somebody's (investment) apartment rented out. Was not that easy to find as nobody recognised the name of the organisation, it really was just a street address. That needs to be more upfront.
Good location downtown when parents arrived (4 adults) and was close to CN Tower. Very clean and great presentation in the room when we arrived. Comfortable, nice layout and kitchen space in this apartment for rent. Secure building and parking area (costs extra). No staff, only the front door security guard who was pleasant and had the keys ready when we arrived. Rated cleaning service based on the apartment condition when we arrived. Good for a travelling family if you want to make your own meals.
Parking garage is tight and the space you are assigned is not always available so you have to park in the guest spot and register your car. Second bedroom (really an office) was small and no windows. Ok for kids.
Met on arrival with keys and all information. Comfortable apartment - everything you would need for a short stay. Great location to explore the city. Only one block away from Spadina Ave with great supermarket to stock the fridge and liquor store for the wine. Easy stroll up Spadina to Dundas for Chinatown - great food. A great stay for what we wanted to do which was a trip down memory lane !!
Property in good location. Close to many restaurants, CN Tower, Rogers Centre. Easy access to Theatre District, City Hall and Shopping. ACC about 20 minute walk.
No one available for key hand over on arrival. TV only had basic cable, and bed could use a more comfortable mattress.
Everything. Twas perfect
