When I checked in the apartment wasn't particularly clean, especially the kitchen. This was put right straight away but shouldn't have happened. The bedroom (and lounge) have vertical blinds at the windows and those in the bedroom were poorly maintained, such that beams of light from the office block opposite were cast right across the bed, making it impossible to sleep there. Luckily there was also a small box room that I could use. The window problem was addressed the following day by putting brown paper at the window. The huge fridge freezer was very noisy at very regular intervals meaning that bedroom doors needed to be closed. I employed a variety of tactics to stop the vibration but again, I do not expect to have to do this.
On check out day I had to wait until noon, when the building security came on duty, before I was able to leave my bag securely. Check out is 11am so I had to wait an hour in the lobby. This is a key reason why I say that this building is better viewed from a long let perspective, than for a few days on business.
The location was excellent and convenient for all of downtown Toronto. It is not, however, that close to a subway station. The suite I had was spacious and the furnishings comfortable. The property management checked in regularly and were keen to put problems right. WiFi was free and very fast.
