눉Unfortunately I had a very bad experience staying at this property and
would strongly encourage to avoid. When we arrived, the concierge was
45mins late and so 7 of us (including my elderly grandmother) had to
just sit in our cars and wait for him. We rented 2 apartments and one of
them had ants in the kitchen and the other one had faulty drains - to
put this into context the drains were so bad we had to use a plunger to
unblock the toilet on the last day. We also had a couple of
miscommunications with the owner regarding parking and the timing of the
cleaner - normally this sort of thing doesn't bother me in the
slightest however the owner is extremely confrontational and very
unprofessional. Not once has he apologised for the issues we had with
the concierge, ants and drains and I have been in contact with him
following our stay to voice my complaints. On the last day there was a
misunderstanding with the cleaner coming to one of the apartments - I
had paid for both till the Saturday but one of them was vacated early
because of flight times. Because the other apartment had ants in the
kitchen my brother used the vacated property to cook, the cleaner then
arrived and couldn't speak a word of English so just left. Shortly
after this the owner called my brother and very aggressively asked him
to leave (to leave an apartment that we'd paid for!) and then
threatened to fine him $50 and said he wanted to "talk to him"
face to face before they left.
Had the owner been apologetic and helpful, most of these issues I would be willing to overlook but his attitude and manners towards paying customers is appalling.
눇The one positive aspect of my experience staying there is the location
of this property is good - it's extremely central and close to lots
of restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. The interior of the flats
are quite basic but fine if you are staying for a short period of time.
As most of the other reviews have mentioned – the air conditioning is
very very loud but we just turned it off.
