Price. The bed was comfy.
Some older furniture in room. No coffee maker in room. Toilet didn't flush well.
Stayed for 4 days. Staff were helpful. Looks older but renovations are being done. the room is average but the bed very comfortable. Continental breakfast with a lot if sweets but have toast, boiled egg, cereal. I would recommend ... price is reasonable.
The location was convenient. It was good to park immediately outside the room. The price was reasonable. Room was spacious enough.
The breakfast was poor. The place was very "tired", needed some paint. Outside door needed paint. Bars of soap were tiny, no shampoo, but did have conditioner.
The price, clean, ok breakfast, the price was good just for a quick overnight...
I didn't like the comfort of it, too plain and motel...bed is on boards, with a matterss, no coffee in the room
The room was clean, daily service excellent. At night, the area was quiet so we could sleep (I sleep better than my husband when not at home) without outside disturbances. We have already highly recommended Redwood Motel to some friends, and when we need a motel in Brandon again, we WILL return.
I can't, in all honesty, think of anything we did not like about Redwood Motel.
Close to shopping and restaurant
Noisy in the hallway
The price, the mattress and the breakfast.
The staff are not interested in giving good service. The phone didn't work.
Close to the mall and river for walking around
Great breakfast, very good value for low-price motel
I like that it was pretty close off the highway and close to a good selection of restaurants. The beds were comfy and clean
The general look of the place was shabby. Had to be moved to a different room because the first one had two locks and neither of them worked properly. The carpet in the second room should have been replaced. Had some rough spots and stains. It's definitely in need of a major update but for what we needs which was a quick place to stay it was great.
Easy to get to off of the highway. Lovely staff at reception. My room had a queen bed, round table, desk, couch, fridge and microwave- a true suite. Yes, everything looked straight outta the late 70s/early 80s but it was clean and spacious. So if you can get past that you'll have a wonderful stay. Was quiet too, mostly familes from what I could see. Would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend.
Buffet was a really lovely spread actually but it didn't taste so great. But I'm picky so...
The bed was very cozy and comfortable.
The outside of the building needs some cleaning up...weeding, painting etc.
Person in the breakfast area who urinated his pants. Wasn't appealing to eat by.
The beds are very comfortable.
looks can be deceiving. doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but found the rooms to be clean and spacious and the bathrooms as up to date as one could hope for. The staff, a lady in particular at the front desk was pleasant and extremely helpful!
My stay was comfortable, meeting all my basic needs. A very "retro" vibe. Bed was clean and comfortable. Facility is older, so to compare to a newer one that offers more would miss the point. If you need a stay with a very reasonable rate, and a clean bed, this place will meet that need. Yes there are some wall dings and a few little stains on the carpet, but considering the price of stay and age of building, this isn't alarming. If your a high maintenance person, this might not suit your needs. But if you don't care about bells and whistles or updates, this place will definitely be ok.
You just have to make sure you get to breakfast earlier, I came toward the latter part and there weren't any eggs left. I'm gluten intolerant so this is an issue for me. However, the spread of pastries etc was large for those who can eat that. There isn't coffee in the rooms, but is available in the main kitchenette during breakfast hours.
Very good location.
A bit of a rundown motel, but good for staying one night.
Alarm clock didn't work. Phone didn't work. Requested knock on door for wake up call because phone didn't work. It never came.
This hotel is great value! Everything was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I would tell anyone staying in Brandon to stay there.
We had stayed here about seven years ago.....continues to be a good motel. Inside is very clean....the room is very comfortable and clean. A quiet place in spite of the fact it is located beside a busy street. Safe.
The outside looks like a dump....need to be spruced up. Had we not booked online and seen the place, we would never have stopped here. It needs a good facelife and the grounds need to be cleaned up....lots of weeds.
Room was clean
Bathroom needs repairs to the toilet seat
The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was easy to find. Though an older hotel, everything was clean and comfortable.
Friendly staff, comfortable bed, quiet, great continental breakfast, small fridge in room
bathroom could use updating. A little crowded in the room.
Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. The bedding was also soft and comfortable, not your typical ugly flower print blanket that you immediately pull off all other hotel beds. WiFi worked great throughout the motel.
When driving up the outside looks a bit shady but don't let it fool you. Once inside its perfect for the price.
