With only one elevator working, it could be a 5-10 minute wait at times.
Special event evening - free evening meal, excellent as restaurant closed
Like the location. Nice room with a view. Close to restaurant and shops.
Patio door/window was not clean. Can see finger prints. I was suppose to get points as we signed up for them. Still waiting for the transaction to happen.
Everything about this hotel is well thought of - we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite my family of four was very comfortable the rooms were huge, the bathrooms were very clean and roomy. We had a city view but the main bedroom had a partial water view that we enjoyed. The kitchen! How very thoughtful it was well equipped and certainly provided the convenience we needed when we decided to stay inside, eat in and enjoy a movie in our suite instead. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had the best time. Thank you to Sam in the dining lounge who picked up my purse I left behind and kindly kept it in safe hands until it was picked up. The complementary breakfast was another treat we looked forward to every morning. Overall, our whole stay in this hotel was simply amazing- the pictures don't do justice to the actual experience and we left feeling more than satisfied. I would rate this hotel more than 10 if there was such a thing!
Excellent location, very helpful staff, lake view was great, main bed was very comfortable
The sofa bed was terrible - the structure prevents it from providing support to my back and just couldn't sleep at all. Wifi signal very weak
Hotel is right downtown and an easy walk to many places to eat.
The Pillows are ginormous and stiff.
Downtown location within walking distance of restaurants, clubs, historical sites, the trolley headquarters and the waterfront ferry stop. Much more room and more amenities than expected for the price -- it's a condo fitted for short or lengthy stays, not just over night. Very clean; good staff.
Very large room and full kitchen
A little pricey for Kingston
Paying for parking lot
very clean and nice accommodations Well set up and great breakfast. even had some GF items in the breakfast! Bravo Would stay here again in a heartbeat and I am very picky
They accommodated our request for lower floor, lake view King size bed was comfortable. Housekeeping and staff were responsive to our requests for items needed. Parking was always available. Breakfast was plentiful and well staffed. Location is excellent and grounds well maintained. Desk staff young and responsive. Common areas clean and well kept. Lovely to have an enclosed out door eating area available.
We had no service to our room except for pulling up the sheets and removing dirty towels. If the guest is expected to clean sinks, showers, countertops, floors and carpet as the manager intended then proper tools should be provided. We had one dish mop and a squirt of Palmolive available. We made it clear in our reservations that there would be 3 people yet the sofa bed was not made up. No extra paper products we're provided. We ran out of toilet paper in the middle of the second night. Used tissues until morning arrived. Parking costs $16 a day There was no trained bar tender at the Grill.3 drinks cost $40. Manager contentious, ungracious and intimidating.
We only had a 2 day mini vacation away from the kids and one night we barely slept at all because we were trying 3 different rooms from 2:00am to 4:00am to find a room in which the AC was working, but finally gave up. The staff comped us for the night but it didn't make up for the fact that our mini vacation, the first since having our newborn was a bust.
view , near city center , good kitchen facility
has no rooms with two double/queen only sofa beds , also it allow large (big) pets as I saw them daily in the elevator
The hotel was modern and the decoration of the room was fabulous. We had our cat with us. They welcomed him very well. The breakfast was delicious and varied. My only suggestion is to enlarge the breakfast area. It's too small for the number of people that use it everyday. All in all, it's a great place to stay.
Location near the the waterfront, the College militaire royal du Canada, and some fine restaurants and boutiques. Very good overall quality for the price. Nice large room, free wifi, complimenter breakfast and light dinner.
Parking fees and noise from the toilet.
Great location Nice view from rooms Breakfast Staff
Beautiful view of the harbour from our room. Staff that always had a smile and always ready to help. Close to many of the hot spots in kingston. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay.
Weekend went to fast. Only one small issue is that housekeeping forgot to replace the coffee that l used so the one morning I had no coffee to wake up to.
The personal care of your staff, I wish I haf asked for the gentlemans name at the desk, he was so caring that we had a good experience. Thsnk you.
Very nice, kindly and friendly stuff, particular front desk stuff and breakfast service stuff, they have beautiful smile. Very good location, nearby thousand island cruise and queen university.
Location is very good
Very poor breakfast - both quality and choice. Let the rest if the hotel down.
A very nice hotel in a good location. Friendly staff, wonderful breakfast. We had a big room and it was very cosy and with a beautiful view to the lake. Nice kitchen and fine parking.
When we opened the sofa bed, the carpet under it was not clean enough. We found candies there, not appropriate for this hotel.
The suite offered to relax in the evenings after a long day of activities.
The breakfast on Monday was lacking in items and dishes and cutlery. Disappointing since we were travelling back and had decided to eat and leave but had to stop outside to have breakfast.
