I didn't dislike anything, but to be clear, this isn't a hotel, so there isn't daily maid service, full-time front desk staff (although there is a very helpful 24 hour building concierge, like a doorman, after hours), a restaurant, etc. That said, it is near great shopping, cafés, an upscale supermarket with delicious prepared food and healthy groceries, as well as many tourist attractions. Very easy to get out of town, too, to go to Whistler or elsewhere up the coast. They provide soap, but not shampoo, etc., so have bring your own travel kit if you want lotions, a sewing kit, etc. The management staff is very helpful, but keeps a standard workday schedule. The night concierge and security staff are very helpful after hours.
A two-bedroom, two-bath jewel of an apartment, very clean, modern, and well appointed, making you feel like a resident in the city. Full-function and full-size kitchen, laundry, floor-to-ceiling windows (with blinds), two flat screen tv's. Great option for families who don't necessarily want to eat out every meal, or travelers who prefer a hotel suite but don't want to fork over the extra cash. Plus, very stylish, not institutional, like most hotels. Gives greater independence and serves as a home base. Like a home away from home, but likely cleaner! Free parking, too, which made it very easy to come and go more freely. Even without a car, great access to the city, too, on a main thoroughfare with bus and taxi service, walking distance to the waterfront and Robson Street shopping. Great choice for independent-minded travelers.
