Reliving dorm life
Close to downtown with the bus. Good price. Clean
Party on the first night. Impossible to sleep before 3 a.m. because of the noise
very clean and big room (we had a room with a bathroom), fridge and coffeemachine + cups in the room
the building was aweful from the outside and in the floors you have to hope that there is no one having a party in front of your door we spend really much time to find the building because there is no sign with Residences universite laval and we did not see the number
simple but clean cheap relatively Convenient location
Washroom is indicated as female in paper only; and it is far away. I feel unsafe using it at night. plain and narrow room has strong smell when entered. Windows have to be open to reduce the smell.
The room comfort
The wait in line to get the room was a bit long on special occasions like the ssq marathon it would make sense to have extra workers behind the desk.
Social areas, big kitchen, free bikes for 4 hours
No utensils for kitchen, pay extra for fridge
The staff was very nice and helpful. easy to arrive to city center with public transport.
The room was too little for two people, no space to open the suitcase.
Room wasn't ready, bed was not changed, dirty bedding was left on the table in the room. \in a short, we have been given room that was used, and not clean for renting. very bad experience. Sorry!
Very well located on main transit routes, a bit of a distance from basic amenities such as groceries/alcool and restaurants. Comfortable rooms understanding that this is a students residence. Very friendly and keen staff.
Unfortunately, in that room 2344, the wi-fi connection didn't worked with my laptop. Apparently, I'm a rare customer who got such a problem - go figure.
The shared washroom and toilet are clean
Dowtown is far
Adequately furnished rooms Bright rooms Clean facilities Good attention staff
Noise in corridors on weekend nights (people after party)
-Plenty of space to park your vehicule.
-Poor Wi-Fi. -Bed are so hard you might just sleep on the floor. -Took me a while to find the room. Like most other peoples. I got asked three times for indications myself. lol -Shared (Unisex) toilets.
Location Very good receptionists
toilets unclean No utensil at all No soap and shampoo No AC Small rooms
Convenience. Public transport. Shopping nearby. Access to library. Friendliness and professionalism of staff.
Would get room with private bath next time.
the place was nice and clean, close to everything in town
there is no air-condition. I slept nicked LOL
extremely helpful staff. our first room was by a bus route, it was quite noisy, there was no problem to change it to a quieter side of the building. and we had to cancel our last day of stay, there was no problem either. the residence is very clean, it has a kitchen, laundrary room, playroom, media room ...etc, quite convenient
the room is small and it can be very hot in summer, there is no AC. and the mini fridge in the room is quite noisy. we had to shut it down in the night.
Convenient transportation, ability to cook our own meals, convenience store nearby, helpful people. Comfortable stay in general.
We stayed in July so our room became hot and stuffy at times because there was no fan. Kitchen was far from our room.
I appreciated how quickly the staff dealt with the problem of the unfinished room.
Unfortunately the room I was first assigned had not been cleaned so I had to have another reassigned room. It meant that I was not able to stay close to my friend.
Good price Good bus connections Laundry facility
Far from city centre
clean, comfortable...i will recommand it...
My room was in a different building, not the one in the pictures. The room was really old and a bit dirty.
Price Location Cleanliness Amenities
Noise Took too long to check in
Cheap, close to a direct bus to the center, people (staff + residents) were very friendly, very good internet connection
The bathroom facilities (but I knew what I signed up for, on the other hand)
We were in a decent location, for a low cost. There is a mall right near buy with plenty of stores, and places to eat. The staff were helpful, they were able to speak fluent french & english. They were also kind enough to accommodate our group to stay on the same floor, same building. Old QC is about a 15 min bus ride, super easy to navigate around.
The first night we stayed there, we were given the wrong keys to our building, so when the doors locked at night, we were locked outside... until someone else walked out and kindly let us in. The website said that towels and soaps were provided. Our rooms were given very thin, small towels and one coin sized bar of soap per guest (for a 3 nights stay). Our pillows were incredibly thin. The breakfast, which we decided to try on campus, was really gross, stale & cold... and pretty expensive ($7 - $10 per person). We jokingly referred to it as 'prison food'.
