Great information about the area. We arrived in the afternoon of our anniversary, and they had complete menus available, from various restaurants that they recommended. Very friendly, but gave us space for privacy as well. It is out of town enough to be quiet, yet close enough to get to restaurants and shops easily and quickly.
I can't think of any negatives.
Comfortable sitting and sleeping accommodations. Friendly hosts and a good breakfast.
Gracious hosts and unique site
David and Martha have done a fantastic job on developing the property and the gardens were lovely when we stayed. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
The reception was extremely friendly. The room was very nice, cozy and unbelievable clean. The breakfast was with homegrown fruit and vegetables and was really good. There was this amazing garden that we could sit in and relax.
We couldn't find anything to dislike.
Friendly, clean, welcoming lovely location.
Martha out host was very welcoming. The room was luxurious and breakfasts homely. Loved the rhubarb juice! The garden was huge and it was lovely to sit out and enjoy the surroundings. There was also a peasant sitting room inside the house. We had a lovely stopover on the way to Banff.
The house was a little way out of town, however this did not bother us as it had good parking and a beautiful garden. We could have done with a shelf in the bathroom to store our toiletries.
The staff was excellent. The facility was very well laid out , rooms were very good. Breakfast was excellent
Breakfast excellent Beautyful garden
The welcome and the gardens made us feel right at home. The home made blue berry sauce was awesome.
Everything from the physical facilities to the proprietors themselves. Our stay was exemplary in every way. We feel like we made two new friends. Too bad we only had one night we could stay there.
The fact we could only stay for one night!
It is situated in a fabulous location and run by a warm and friendly couple. They provide all the home comforts you could wish for, including a fresh and healthy breakfast.
Quiet location. Incredibly beautiful yard (one of the loveliest we have ever seen). Nice to be able to sit and relax and enjoy a glass of wine there. Friendly hosts; you feel at home here. Excellent value for the money.
Breakfast was generous, but nothing out of the ordinary. Adequate, but not memorable.
Home made blueberry syrup. Personal tour of the garden and greenhouse. Great hosts!
Location Nice garden
well maintained,beautiful garden,comfortable bed,clean facility
breakfast average, tip jar in front entrance, wifi very slow, felt like we were asked to leave early, breakfast was too early
Every aspect: friendly warm-hearted owners, variety of freshly made breakfasts, generosity, location
- comfortable bed - beautiful area - very clean - lovely rooms and house - friendly welcome
- breakfast was eggs both mornings (we were expecting waffles and sausages as posted on this website) - although their website says breakfast is until 9:30, we were told we couldn't have it later than 8:30 - there are no TVs in the rooms (not that we cared, but it is also stated on this website) - my boyfriend forgot his flip flops at the B&B. When I asked if they would put them on the greyhound bus to a nearby city, they said yes no problem. As agreed, they charged my credit card the greyhound fee... however they also added a $10 packaging and delivery fee and a 3% transaction fee on top. My issue is not about the money, it's the principle of the situation. They did not tell me about this at any point and I have had no apology of this surprise charge. As comfortable as this B&B was, this experience has left me frustrated and I'm not sure I would recommend it to friends.
The B&B is easily accessible from Highway 1 and 5 mins. by car to the centre of Revelstoke. There is a large beautiful garden behind the residence where one can sit and enjoy the scenery and distant mountains. The owners are very welcoming and friendly.
Beautiful setting and owners were very friendly
B and B sign could be closer to Big Eddy Rd
It was such wonderful place to relax in the gardens were so beautiful. We loved the homemade jams and juices she served for breakfast. We would stay there again no question.
The breakfast was really good! Lots of homemade and homegrown stuff. We were invited to use the garden if we wanted.
Hard madrasses. Not Much privacy as you could hear the neighbours and vice versa.
Quiet location. Lovely garden. Friendly owner. Handy to a local pub for bar meals.
We were asked to pay before we even got our bags in the door, the man was rude and insisted I pay before I even got to take my bags to the room, he insisted we take our shoes off which we did and then had to keep putting them on and off in the rain in order to bring in everything, the owner had to leave before we finished breakfast, so that was odd, we will not stay there again and will not recommend it to anyone.
Owners, Martha and David, have spent many years meticulously creating a b&b resort where every detail comes together to provide a space that is clean, comforting, efficient. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. Fresh fruit and juices from the outside gardens and home made jams provided a special touch. We especially enjoyed the beautiful gardens where many different seating areas allow for private enjoyment of the amazing Revelstoke mountains and weather. The owners were very open and friendly, but also very respectful of privacy. Great Value!
