Central location, hip decor, friendly staff, continental breakfast included, great bar with very fun cocktails.

We live in the country, so found the street noise a bit loud -therefore we couldn't open the window to cool the room at night.

the staff and services provided were excellent. the linens and toiletries were luxurious. We loved the complimentary cheese plate and breakfast coffee and muffins were delicious.

quite a few homeless people seemed to live in the area.

Location excellent. Hotel was comfortable and complementary coffee and pastries was a nice gesture. We would definitely recommend the hotel to friends.

Recently renovated. Everything is new and clean. Great design. Very comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The receptionist was very helpful and courteous. The hotel had very attractive decor and modern color scheme using black, white and grey. The room and bath were very comfortable.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Our room was not ready until 3:20 pm.

The room was very comfortable and modern. The hotel was well situated - close to everything! Walking distance from bus stop to ferry port to great restaurants and shopping.

The water pressure in the shower was weak, so it took a while to wash the shampoo/conditioner out.

Love the "Green" program. Beds, pillows extremely comfy. Staff was amazing. Breakfast came with the room, making it even more affordable. Great location and our room at the back was very quiet as far as street noise goes.

Our room had an adjoining door to our neighbours' room and sound travelled very well through this door. Luckily our neighbours were fairly quiet!

I liked the cafe, the bar and the king sized room. The hotel was in a central location. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Loved all the upgrades done to what was obviously a much older venue. Rooms were very tastefully furnished with free wi-fi and mini refrigerator and micro-wave. The bathroom had heated floors which was a nice bonus. The food at the adjoining restaurant was some of the best we have experienced. Breakfast offerings were very nice also. A continental breakfast was provided or a discount on a hot meal. Nice!

The parking lot for the Hotel was a ways away and you had to go around in a bit of a circle to get to it. Easier to pay the parking in front if it works out for you.

Pleasing decor, friendly staff and a chef whose creations were exceptional

Front desk staff were the best I have seen in some time,very helpful,always asking how the day went. we could walk to most things we wanted to do.

Staff was really friendly. Welcome cheese plate was a nice treat and the breakfast was awesome especially with the discount. Rooms were clean and amenities nice. We were also upgraded to a suite.

Pillows were a bit too fluffy but to each their own.

The room was large, king bed, comfortable, large bathroom, tastefully decorated, lots of windows and natural light, well laid out. Good amenities close by - Veneto Restaurant/Lounge and wine store. Excellent service at hotel and lounge - very friendly staff.

Corner room so lots of traffic noise. Tv volume set too low - could not hear the movie above the traffic noise, lots of unsavory characters in the area - perhaps police should be more visible in the area. Recommend taking taxi at night.

Loved the design, especially the bathroom, and the restaurant was fabulous. Staff extremely friendly as well.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The check in staff member let us unload our vehicle out the front of the hotel and park there until we were settled and happy with our room. Parking was a bloc away from the hotel but it was secure. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The parking was a bloc away from the hotel, however it was still secure and not much of a hassle to get to.

The front of house reception staff were excellent in all respects as were the young people we had dealings with in both the cafe/bar and the restaurant.

The parking arrangements were not available initially and when they were were expensive.This however is a normal problem for city tourists who have a car and the efforts of the staff to help more than compensated.

Parking was non existant, Rooms on main street had a lot traffic noise
