My 19 year old daughter and I treated ourselves to a few days in Banff and loved our stay at the Rimrock. We found it very relaxing and a wonderful break!
The Wifi connection from our room and from many other places in the hotel was actually pretty terrible and very frustrating ... it dropped regularly! Apparently a better Internet connection is available if you are willing to pay more but I didn't learn this until our stay was almost over and it was never offered at the front desk at check in.
Everyone was very friendly, food was excellent. Great service. Very clean. Room was excellent. Highly recommend this hotel to anyonw
No free parking + no free wifi
Very personalized to our stay
Parking expensive, after an expensive room raye
Lovely big, clean, comfortable room. Roamer bus very convenient. Great bar/lounge area.
Shame the pool can't be drained and cleaned overnight. We could only use it on one day of our visit. Bus passes do not work properly - we had to change ours several times and kept other passengers waiting. Car parking a nightmare.
Prices for every thing on the hotel was a little steep. Example a bottle of water in the room was $3.25. ( for water )
The staff of the Larkspur Lounge we amazing, and the door staff were quite pleasant
I had book a king bed room, but was placed in a small room with 2 queens. The prices were different than booking.com quoted, and the room was kind of dated.
The view was fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The Primrose dinning room. . . 37$ for a pasta buffet. The server tried to highlight that the pasta was made to order (which all pasta should be whether in front of guests or behind kitchen doors). 37$ for pasta that I would have to get up and get myself. Super romantic on Valentines day... and I made those reservations 5 months in advanced! We left, changed out of our formal wear and ate at Diva's. Best decision of the weekend.
We found everyone friendly and helpful.
There was some construction, it was very loud and it went on all day and well into the evening. We were their trying to celebrate our wedding. Made it hard for any romance afterwards.
The staff (door men were awesome)
The breakfast Buffett
Service, comfort, location, view, Bluetooth Speakers in rooms.
Staff Friendlyness, View.
Room was much to hot. Had windows open and thermostat down (17C) and remained hot the whole night.
Great hotel and all. But the mattress we slept on was horrible and didn't sleep one bit. Plus they ding you $23 for parking in which had to park outside anyways because the parkade was full. Priced too high based on the quality and features of the room. Will not be coming back.
Location is beautiful. Restaurants were nice and bed was comfortable.
There was a needle on the floor in our room, I stepped on it. Spent the rest of our stay worried about the cleanliness of the room. We called the front desk for a cork screw and never received one. We paid a lot of money to stay there then paid more money to park there and There were no parking spots half the time. We were woken up multiple times from screaming children down the hall at 5am both mornings.
Great amenities. Spa, pool, hot tub, real gym, ice skating, fire and some of the nest food ever.
That we only stayed for 1 night
Expense of meal choices
Pool and hot tub great. Staff very helpful and friendly. Lobby bar great, very relaxed.
Bathroom is "tired" and needs refurbishment.
Luxurious setting so close to home!
Everything was lovely!
great place at great location.
It's a very nice hotel. I have no complaints about the room service or how we were treated.
I did not like the fact that I had to pay for parking at the Rimrock. Parking should be included in the hotel room costs or omitted altogether. Considering other hotels in Banff do not charge for parking $21/day is a bit too much IMHO.
Comfy bed, modern furniture, decent sized room and a great view.
Sound insulation wasn't the best, I could hear the adjoining rooms fairly easily. Be prepared to fork over money for heated parking for each night.
The view never gets old. Especially when enjoying it with a drink in the evening or breakfast in the morning.
Staff/security did not deal with our complaint regarding constant noise from the adjacent room between midnight and 0300.
