Placed at the foot of Mt. Currie just minutes north of Whistler Ski Resort, this all-suite hotel in Pemberton Valley offers spacious accommodations with kitchens as well as convenient services.
Score from 68 reviews Very good
Very easy to find the campground from the highway, just beyond Whistler Village. Maintenance staff seemed dedicated and sincerely interested in making guest comfortable.Bathrooms were spotless, and a plumbing issue one morning was resolved same day. Showers were excellent and free. Front desk staff were pleasant and available for questions. We were able to search for hiking information online, using campground WiFi from the small comfortable sitting area at reception.
Check-in staff were friendly but did not seem to understand our questions about grey water disposal for the walk-in sites (sinks were available at washrooms). Brochures and other travel information available at reception advertise and guide you to commercial sites, and the free maps clearly indicate bike trails, but not nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, and provincial parks. Whister Village held concerts the two nights we stayed here, and the music reverberated up the valley and sounded as if it came from within the campground - worth checking the schedule if you like to turn into your tent by 10pm.
Sites were pleasant with lots of trees and grass, showers were clean, air-conditioned and with good water flow, a shuttle bus to town was very convenient. Overall a nice RV park.
Location in Whistler close to village
Needed car close to campsite especially in pouring rain. Wheelbarrows for transporting camp supplies hard to locate or non existent . Rows or paths for tent spaces poorly marked. Tent spaces very close together.
|Loved the location close to the village and close to the lake. Staff was great and very helpful. Showers were hot and never to busy. Lots of trees and a place for beach volley ball and other activities. The restaurant at the lodge was excellent reasonable prices and fresh homemade food.
Sites were a bit small and close to the road (camp roads, not main roads). I didn't like putting my food away all the time, but when you want to camp in bear country that's something that just must be done.
Accessibility at Lost Lake
Distance to Whistler Village. Unfriendly and indifferent maintenance staff. Weak Wifi signal Limited Front Office hours Late night noise from Employee BBQ
It was a very quiet campground, and when I asked for a late checkout I got one.
The wifi said it was available at the campsite, but when we tried to connect to it, it did not work. When I asked for a late checkout they told me I had to wait until the day that we were actually leaving to find out if we could get one. Usually campsites allow you to know ahead of time so that your plans wont get ruined if you can't get a late checkout the morning of.
Free showers, close to whistler village,
Ground was very rocky for camping but ok if you have air mattresses
Hot water wifi
2 feet of snow, stupid thing to put the tent. expensive for what it is. staff go away too early.
