I got to stay here for two nights for under $140. There are places that look like garbage that cost more, so I felt like it was money well spent. I got an apartment-like suite: It had a couch and chairs, small kitchen, separate bedroom, and a well-equipped bathroom (the shower/showerhead are very comforting). Also HD a balcony, which was nice. The staff were also very friendly.
I took the bus to Vancouver, but along the way, I somehow accidentally lost the debit-visa card that I used to book it with in advance. Upon doing so, I had my 'Debit Visa' replaced in the city, and when I arrived at the hotel and explained my story, I was told that Debit Visa was not accepted--even though I had successfully booked a room with my previous debit visa. Not only did the transaction go through from my previous debit visa just hours before replacing it, but on top of that, I had to again pay my total plus a refundable $250 deposit for the sake of using a debit visa, which is not allowed at the hotel apparently, but gave me a one-time accepting. I was then told that the original transaction would be re-embursed into my bank within 1-5 business days. Long story short, some hotels are not here in the present of 2009--err,2015, and that was a lot of hassle for a simple round of "I can happily pay no problem with a different card"
The beds were the only other problem. As good as everything else was, the beds were quite uncomfortable.
