“ Our favorite neighborhood in Vancouver, we would never stay elsewhere. This is a bidget accommodation that gives Excellent value for price. We had a huge room with full kitchen, clean and comfortable. Older building has been recently updated very nicely. Lots of light through the large windows, very welcome in cloudy Vancouver. ”

Very convenient for centre of Vancouver. Laundry facilities were good. The views from our penthouse apartment were good. The housekeeping service was good without being intrusive. The extra fold down bed was not very comfortable although the double bed was fine. Lack of baking sheets for the oven. The hair dryer didn't work .

Location - bus stop right outside the hotel. Easy walk to Stanley Park and the waterfront. Good selection of restaurants within walking distance Good selection of grocery stores / markets within walking distance (as self-catering accommodation, this would be a bonus) Comfortable bed (quite hard, which suits me, but beware if you find soft beds more comfortable) clean bathroom and kitchen area. Also note the pillows in our room 501 were not 'plump'! Again a flat pillow suits me, but if you're used to fluffy feather pillows, you will be disappointed Ipod / Iphone docking station in the bedroom Rooms were very large and spacious. Lots of room to spread out and hang clothes Friendly and efficient check in and check out No air-conditioning and with the windows open it can be noisy. If you want a quiet room, ask for one on the back - still get good views and you're not over Robson Street Decor was a little tired, and the floor could have been swept a little better

I liked the decent price for a room with a one bedroom apartment with a kitchen, separate bedroom and a nice view. The furniture and decor was really nice and updated as well. There was a mans dirty pants and underwear hanging on the back of the door in our room when we came in. There was a kettle but no tea. There were sticky spots all over the desk and table. Housekeepers aren't doing a very good job. Also, the parking lot is apparently also a storage area, very untidy and cramped, not to mention the hallway to get there from the lobby looks like a scene out of a Saw movie. Wallpaper needs updating as well. Also, the guest services book was empty.

We ere up sold to suite which provided more than ample room, at a great price. It also reduced traffic noise(street) by a significant degree. Free Wifi was also very beneficial. Having to sign to the Wifi for ech usage.

Mr. Manish was very helpful and guide us well to plan our trip. Parking is free. This hotel is on Robson st. One of busy and happening place. It is closest to beach and night clubs. Worth to stay. I mean $70-80 per night in downtown is really good deal. Huge space to live in with kitchen and free wifi. This hotel has blue color on outside which looks old and dul. Should have some light color.

The main advantage of Riviera is location: right in the middle of Vancouver's beautiful downtown, 10 mins walk to Stanley park, 5 mins to waterfront, etc. Room are surprisingly spacious for a hotel and come with full kitchen (stove including). We prefer a studio to a one-bedroom, even if it is three of us: ventilation is better in studios, especially in the summer. The hotel is not new but the interior has been recently renovated. The staff is friendly and courteous. All in all, if you come to enjoy Vancouver on a budget, Riviera is your best choice for the money.

The manager and staff were extremely helpful on all matters. Everything was taken care of right away. The suite we stayed in had a nice view and was a good size. The beds and pullout couch were quite old and or uncomfortable. It made getting a good night sleep for us difficult. The bathroom we had was very small. One person minimum and still tight at that.

This hotel was perfectly located near downtown, the sea front walk, Stanley park, etc. Furthermore, a couple of supermarkets were nearby and allowed me to fill in the fridge in the room, so as to save money and prepare my own breakfast and lunch. For dinner, many restaurants of all kinds are located near by. I recommend this hotel - the rooms are large, with a nice suite and kitchenette. It is very clean and pleasant to stay in. The staff was also very kind and helpful. The price is definitely reasonable.
