Clean. Friendly staff.
Run down building. In urgent need of facelift.
internet, All Staff; Plenty space; Location.
There's always crazy people yelling at Robson Streets at night...
The room was very nice with big windows. Very private, you couldn't hear through the door. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way for us. The hotel also included accessible parking.
The parking was 30 dollars extra for one night. The location is not walking distance from the downtown but it's only a short bus or 7 dollar cab.
Everything!! It's in a great location for just about any activity you might want too do. The staff were friendly and the room was well equipped and comfortable.
Evrything I like it but
All stuff& facilities are great
No enough face clothes
Considering the area the hotel is located in...this hotel was excellent value for money. I shopped around and chose the riviera based on cost but was surprised to get a basic apartment rather than just a room. Highly recommended!!
We stayed at the Riviera over the weekend, great location for the price, very convenient access to amenities. The gentlemen at the reception desk, Carlos, was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely consider going back in the future.
The size of the apartment was great, very spacious
I did not expect the room I booked to have a kitchen, a dining table and a living room, which is good. Also, The staffs were helpful.
My bedroom was facing Robson Street and it could be quite noisy during the night.
Just like home away from home and the peace and quiet in the hotelinnoisy
Noisy airconditioner.incomplete set ot cooking utensils.bath towels are not large enough
Location can't be beat. Staff was friendly and attentive. Feels like your own downtown apartment.
Walls are not noise insulated, and some of the features are old and need refreshing, like the bathroom finishes and especially the window sill air conditioners.
Comfortable bed and pretty clean room.
The shower delimiter reduces water pressure way too much. The blinds in the room let the street light in.
We had a corner apartment with a balcony and windows on two sides. Stunning city views. We were on the 8th floor so street noise was not a problem. We only stayed one night, but this would be a great value especially for longer stays. Very helpful staff.
This place is a little worn around the edges, so if you are looking for a sterile, corporate style hotel, this isn't that. But for us this was not a negative.
Location Room Size Kitchen TV Value
Decor needs updating Noisy
On Hop on Hop off route. Close to Stanley Park
Too noisy at night time in front room
A good location and staff were very helpful and friendly...thank you to Sam, Hannah and Carlos. I want to be absolutely honest though…the hotel is a little worn and tired but I would not let that stop me from staying there again. The beds are comfortable and we had a full kitchen and a great view of the harbour through the other buildings. The staff go out of their way to help you – so congratulations to their boss for creating such a great team. Also it was wonderful to be able to walk to so many locations - don't miss the Aquarium and the 4D salmon film. The plantings in the gardens at Stanley Park are stunning...also loved the squirrels too!
The staff were great, especially Hana (sp?), who always addressed me by name! The apartment had everything practical needed for a comfortable stay, from coffee making and ironing facilities to plenty of storage space. Loved having a balcony from which to watch the busy street life. There was some noise at night but much less than I'd expected.
Furnishings are a bit dated. Cleaners tended to turn up late in the afternoon when I needed the room.
The staff were friendly, the room as clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. Great shopping and restaurants. Prime spot for exploring the city.
the size of the room was nice for three people, plenty of room to move around without banging into one another.
It was kinda hot in the room, there was air conditioning but it was in the bedroom. So we just kept the balcony door open. and there was not control for heat.
The suite was very spacious and clean; for the price you couldn't do better
Small bathroom; large windows mean lots of noise from the street
Conveniently located on Robson. Staff were super friendly and efficient. The room had a kitchen that had all the dishes, tea towels, dish soap... that was needed to make your own meals.
There was an attempt to update the interior design in the room but some of the resurfacing products were already chipping away. The stove was really old but worked. The hot and cold water tap in the bathroom shower was reversed.
the kitchen is great.
it's very noisy and bright in the nights.
-The bed is way too soft, pillows way too hard. -Noisy - not just traffic, but other guests slamming doors and speaking loudly at 12:30 AM; hearing snoring from other rooms. -Only one cereal bowl in room. -No dish cloth (had to use face cloth). -Not consistent in replenishing coffee in the room. -No elevator to first floor (difficult with a sore back). -Windows do not open. -No balcony (expected we had booked a suite. -View of parking lot only.
The staff. They were more than excellent. Helpful, friendly, accommodating. Have not run into a better bunch of staff before. The location was close to CanadaPlace which was very convenient for us. I did mean that you get what you pay for in a good way as I thought the price for what we got was quite reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
The hotel could use some updates as it is quite old but it was clean and very comfortable for the most part. Except for the hide-a-bed which was more than uncomfortable.
