Grocery Store close by so saved money and time by making own breakfasts and lunches in well equipped kitchen. Liked having separate bedroom. Suite very well equipped and bed very comfortable.
There was traffic noise at night - but earplugs cured that for a good night's sleep.
Large space. Hot water. Easy access. Nice treed area
Would like a kettle to make tea
I like the location near the galloping house trail and its only a 25min walk to touristic downtown of Vancouver. If you have a car there are two shopping malls real close by. I really liked having a full kitchen and a separate bedroom.
Cleaning during stay could be better.
The man at the reception desk was very helpful. It was a quiet setting.
The room smelled somewhat like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. An aerator was brought in to remedy the situation which helped some.
Clean room, super comfortable bed & pillows, great customer service & staff. Cycling / bike-friendly, great value. I always stay here when I travel to Victoria.
Staff was very friendly and helpful would definitely stay here again.
The bed was very comfortable.
The smell of cigarets inside and out was unbearable despite being a non smoking room.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Everything is dated style-wise but very well maintained and cleaned, so it is a great price. I keep coming back.
no refrigerator shortage of parking for front units
Room was clean and quiet
No HD television
The inside of the room was great. Bathroom was new and room was clean.
It was in a bad neighborhood and the hotel was old, run down and dirty. I felt like I was in a horror movie. Would never stay again based on that.
Lots of space, separate room and big living room, well equipped kitchen. The furniture is a little old but it gives a warm and "home" atmosphere.
Second day receptionnist (older woman) was not nice at all. The motel is a bit far from the center but you can walk in half an hour
Right on the main city bus line. 5 minutes to downtown and direct to U. Vic although about 1/2 hour. Very clean and nice beds(even the hide-a-bed was comfy.) Helpful staff.
The main managers were excellent . The room attendents were excellent.
The beds were not too comfortable. One of the desk clerks could have been a bit more polite.
easy to access downtown. staffs are kind.
Staff were friendly, room was spotless, good all round place, wish we had found it sooner
Clean for an old motel
One staff was not happy when we wanted to use the microwave.
Too much traffic noise and curtains let in too much light, need room darkening curtains.
The beds was very good and staff very kind.
The room was very hot at night and humidity was high. The internet connection was not good at all.
The room was clean and every thing works well. The staffs were good and happy to help you.
The exterior of this motel looks really poor and will fall at some time. And also the residents were having a lot of types. At the day we stayed, the residents were totally bad. They looked as bad persons, they smoked everywhere and yelled loud. Eventhough the room was clean but we could hear the sound coming from outside, and we decided not to stay here again.
Didn't like first nonsmoking room that was initially assigned to. It really reeked of smoking. Fortunately the woman at the desk found me another room that was quite acceptable.
On first impression the motel was older style and in need of an upgrade but the staff soon made up for this by being very friendly and helpful, going out of their way to work out a way for us to stay a few more nights. The room was clean and neat with a comfortable bed. Public transport was close and easy to access.
Clean, cheap, stones throw away from downtown,
Gentleman at checkin was friendly, lady at checkout not so much, facing fairly busy street with minimal noise isolation so noisy if sleeping on sofabed in living room, 80's decor
beds were super comfortable, beautiful tree in the parking and cool plants in the back, laundry on-site, quiet neighborhood and you can access walk to a nice bridge with amazing sunset, not so far from some restaurants
dirty towels but the front desk staff replaced it and apologized, smelled old
It s a clean and simple place. Staff is helpful.
If you do not have a car, be aware that walking to downtown takes about half an hour. ( through industrial part of the town-)
