Rocky Mountain Bed and Breakfast

Hotel was so adorable. Comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic. Comfortable ambiance that you felt fine to just hang out and visit in.

The walls were a bit thin which normally would not be a problem except for the couple screaming and crying next door.

The couple who run the B&B were really friendly and helpful. The living room, complete with fire and free muffins, was great.

Interesting building - great staff and a very good breakfast. Excellent value for money.

Clean and friendly. We arrived late after midnight and found our room key left in a box with detailed explanation how to get into the hotel and connect to the internet. The breakfast was nice!

We booked a Superior Queen Room but found ourself in a small room with no bath and toilet (shared facilities). Since we arrived after hours we had no choice to take it. With that, we were charged as for a Superior room because this was the price in the reservation. Staying with shared facilities was not a pleasure, of course, and paying extra was not a pleasure too.

Quiet simply-not a lot. This B&B has recently been taken over by Rob and Robyn and they have some work to do to bring this 'retro' guest house into the 21st century. There are many favourable comments in the guest book and words like great and awesome do appear but we assume from those who relish a return to their student days and living it rough.

The rooms are small and sharing common bathroom/toilet facilities came as both a surprise and a shock. The rooms are furnished with cheap second-hand furniture and the only TV is a shared facility in the eating area on the ground floor. Breakfasts are served 8-9am so it would be useful if the owners arrived before that time to prepare the meal! They is little choice and you get what you are given. For those with food intolerances, like myself, when handed a pancake for breakfast (which I can't eat) there was no offer of a substituation. Dinner's are provided upon request but after seeing the quality of the breakfast we gave it a miss...the house wine at $40 a bottle is simply a rip off. We vote with our feet and will not be returning.

This place is just great. Quiet location and very friendly staff. And the breakfast is just incredibly good!

We really liked the friendliness of the staff and the home made breakfasts.

We got a room right next to the (shared) bathroom and it was quite noisy. The walls were thin and the water coming through the pipes everytime someone flushed the toilet was noisy.

die persönliche Betreuung durch die Innkeeper. Frühstück war gut und die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, ca. 5 Min. ins Zentrum von Banff zum Shoppen.

Steckdosen im Zimmer sind Mangelware.

Mooi huis, mooie kamer, perfecte ligging. Ontbijt was heerlijk en luxe. Eigenaars Robyn en Rob zijn superaardig en helpen je graag.

La habitación que reservamos era sin baño, pero había 2 por planta y siempre bastantes limpios y libres. La habitación bastante amplia, sencilla pero confortable. Lo que destacaría es la amabilidad de los dueños Robbin y Rob que son muy agradables, además dan unos desayunos espectaculares. Nos cayeron muy bien por el buen rollo que trasmiten y lo acogedora que es la zona común... Volvería a este Bed and Breakfast si volviera a Banff.

Lo único que señalaría es que las puertas son un poco antiguas y cuesta abrir por lo que el ruido que se hace al abrir y cerrar las puertas de habitaciones y las de los baños es un poco molesto... Aunque un porcentaje depende de las personas y del ruido que quieras hacer, es cierto que por muy poco ruido que quisieras hacer se hacía por como estaban las puertas.

L'accueil des proprios, le service et l'excellent petit déjeuner varié à chaque jour. La chambre numéro 1 est assez grande et confortable. Situé à 2 coins de rue du centre-ville. Salles de bain minuscules mais propres

Sehr freundliches junges Paar mit ausgefallenen Frühstücksideen. Gemeinsame Toilette und Bad sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber wenn man keine großen Ansprüche stellt... Nutzung der Terrasse möglich. WiFi ausreichend zum TV empfang.

Kein Kühlschrank.

Bien situé près du centre ville, on peut y aller à pied. Bien sur c'est un bed and breakfast mais c'est très confortable.

Great location...we could walk to everything! Hot breakfasts were a great way to start the day...neat old house! Residential area so it was quiet...also great value for the money!

Some little details were lacking like no toilet paper in bathroom, items on breakfast table not topped up, microwave was dirty...it was a bit noisy near the bathroom and of course rooms not soundproof, but I expected that in an old house converted in this way...we brought earplugs! Breakfast was from 8-9 am so no sleeping in!!!

Hôtel très bien situé. Pas trop loin du centre à pied, tout en étant au calme, ce qui est très agréable au Canada, ou généralement il faut prendre la voiture pour trouver un restaurant. Cet hôtel permet de converser avec d'autres personnes car petit déjeuner (plus que correct) servi autour de grandes ou petites tables. Décor assez authentique avec un certain cachet. Chambre pas trop spacieuse avec juste un lavabo pour la nôtre.
