We booked this hotel, but we didn't stay there. However. We were able to check the facilities: rooms, pool, restaurant. Everything looks very nice and clean. We would stay in this hotel, but unfortunately hotel located far from all the city attractions. So we were kindly offered to switch to the sister-property in Charlottetown Downtown. I would like to Thank you all staff of these hotels who helped us during our short P.E.I. visit

Very clean & nicely decorated. Appreciated appliances.

Only one mirror located in bathroom. Could use one in main room. Really didn't like that drapes do not close as wé could see people in the pool so Im sûre they could see us. Also lights kept area bright all night when trying to sleep. Only sheers over patio door which wasnt locked when wé entered room. Not all staff bothered to say hello.

Obviously surprised by white cottage appearance instead of main building. I felt tricked.

Complimentary breakfast was excellent, very good selection. Swimming pool and hot tub very good.

Recycle bins not provided in room.

The room was very nice . The loft suite is a great choice for families. The pool was nice and we really enjoyed the buffet breakfast that was included. It's close to everything you can want and need.

The gym should have frosted windows. The pullout couched need new mattresses. The room was freezing when we walked in. There was an event being held at the hotel so there was no parking available. We had to park in a snow bank.

Very family friendly. Staff was accommodating and great with the sports team

The location is close to all amenities and the university. Over all great place to stay.

It is newly renovated but not all of it so some things are still a little dirty or old.

Staff was very curteous and friendly. They did everything that we could ask. Room was beautiful!!!!

Very noisy as there were Christmas parties going on downstairs. Also, the restaurant was very slow to put out hot food at the continental breakfast. After 1/2 hour of waiting, we decided on plain cereal and left.

I have to say that what I liked the most about my stay is the comfort of the beds. Because the beds are so comfortable I am going to buy myself one of those types of beds. I just love them.

Location was very convenient to the airport, highway and to the shops too. Not too far from the city centre either.

We stayed for two nights. The CAA rate was only applied for one night. Also there was a crack in the wash basin.

The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful.

We discovered that this hotel charges a $50/night undisclosed security deposit which was immediately added to our total bill - $200 - in the event of "breakage" or failing to pay for a pizza. Tho the front desk was convinced that all hotels assess such charges, that has not been my experience. In any event a total of $800 was put on my Amex acct as soon as we checked in. The asst. mgr. later made an effort to delete the amount from the charge and indeed it did not appear on our final bill. the whole thing left a bad taste. My most recent talk w/ Amex folk indicates that nothing has been billed to my account at this point - am hopeful this will be worked out.

The price was excellent.

The Hotel rooms were dirty, I reported to the desk that the tub had lots of hair and it clogged the drain, water was on your ankle when took a shower. The most expensive hotel through out our entire trip to the east coast and it was the most disgusting place. I paid $194 x 2 for 2 rooms for one night and comparably to new brunswick delta $ 109 x 2 for 2 rooms for one night.This hotel was much nicer and cleaner and amazing front line staff customer service. Breakfast as not too bad

kids loved the water slide and hot tub - we were at the hotel with a soccer team so it was a good spot for the girls to play together off the field. Appreciated the bar fridge in the room. Beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was lovely Staff was friendly and helpful

Very disappointed with the hot breakfast - very limited options and same items on both Sat and Sunday morning. No fresh fruit. Ran out of orange juice. Not very well organized. We were also disappointed that one of the beds was not changed/made up when we arrived back on Saturday night b/c we left our personal clothing on the end of the bed. We had to ask for a clean comforter. The pool/water slide was fun for the kids but not ideal for anyone - like the parents - who may have also wanted to swim. The hot tub was closed for a short time during our stay also. No area for the parents to meet together other than in the pool area - too hot and noisy to chat. Would have liked a bar area or open room for families to meet up.

The hotel is conveniently located with ample available parking.

The guest room could have been more thoroughly cleaned as there was some dust build up noticeable in the room. No major issues but attention to detail could be improved. The hotel needs to be refreshed as some common spaces looked tired and worn.

The continental breakfast needed more portable items such as croissants or bagels.

Nothing. First thing when I came to my room was to see dust everywhere. It seems like the room was not cleaned for a long time. Stafff was unfriendly. Price was extremely high for a hotel thas is rated 4 stars and must be 2 stars. Breakfast not good. This is a poor hotel and I recommend you not to advertise it.

Our stay at Rodd Royalty was amazing. The staff were very helpful with all the questions I had to ask. The rooms were beautiful and very well maintained. The pool was a highlight for the kids. The breakfast was good with a nice selection. Will definitley be staying there again.

There was not much not to like. The only things I can really say is that the pool area ( floor) could be kept cleaner.

The bed was comfy.

the room was small and they put us by the ice maker which was loud and when you did need ice you could not get much because the setting they had it on was horrible or it was broke. The hot tub and pool were dirty very dirty disgusting you might say. The bathroom in our room was so small my husband is not a big man but he had a very hard time moving around in there to even brush his teeth horrible room.

Your rooms were fabulous..clean..neat..beds very comfortable..quiet..the pool is awesome..fun..entertaining..location is central and well marked..staff cordual and polite...i would return anytime..affordable and you gave me a great rate..thank you so very much..stephen j moroney
