All the little touches. Watching bald eagles soar outside the window.
The owners are friendly, helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations and their home is immaculate.
Super clean Jim and Marleen were excellent hosts. Great experience.
Well organized, clean, excellent facilities and beautiful view. Added touch was the photograph of my wife and myself that was presented at breakfast. An excellent stay Robert Anderson - Carnduff, SK
New, well equipped property. Comfortable room and bath, good common area room, delicious breakfast
Absolutely everything!!!! Super friendly hosts...spotlessly clean...everything geared towards the comfort and pleasure of guests. We felt like we were amongst friends and family!
The ensuite room, the view,. the breakfast the ambiance and the friendlness of the owners.
Everything I experienced as a guest after I got there.
Getting there was not half the fun. The picture used on the web is confusing as it appears the place is up on a hill whereas it is actually below the road. I was told this was Bookings doing -- if so shame on you!!!
The owners took a photo for their book of guests and I got a copy too. Great conversation with other guests home for homecoming. A very comfortable lounge area for guests to watch tv or chat.
Entrance separated, quiet room well equipped and clean. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Good location Great breakfast Helpful information provided by owners
Would recommend owner get foam for mattress this would help to make bed more comfortable. Owners were very present during breakfast. We definitely sensed they were on a schedule, which made us feel rushed.
Friendly, helpful hosts Excellent breakfast
Clean. Easy to find. Modern rooms-fixed up nicely-each room had own bathroom-guests had separate entrance from rest of house
Rooms were in the basement of the owner's house-could hear all the noise from overhead. Ate right in their kitchen and they were right there. Just felt awkward- like you were staying in a stranger's basement. We had to initiate all the conversation with the female host-otherwise she said nothing while we ate breakfast
Very clean and in excellent condition. The facilities were excellent, the tea and coffee in the lounge was an added bonus. The hosts were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent.
Beautiful home with outstanding views of the Northumberland Strait. The hosts provided a delicious well presented breakfast. They were very helpful with suggestions to places to eat as well as directions to and from Charlottetown.
Not a thing
This is a very clean and well maintained B&B. I really felt that the hosts made a great effort to make sure that my stay went well. Very comfortable bed and nice rooms with a common area with chairs and a TV. There is a great view out over the inlet. I would definitely stay there again.
Facility in general.......private baths and common sitting areas in the B & B. Very clean and comfortable. Very good first impression. Breakfast was very good also.
Somewhat pricey.. but it is a new property and is competitive with other local lodging options.
Convenient for where we were travelling. Very friendly host & hostess. Nice breakfast.
Excellent lodging. Quiet and spotless. Friendly and helpful owners with lots of resources available for interested travellers. Delicious breakfast.
The quality of the breakfast, the care Jim and Marlene take with the interior and exterior of their place and the comfort of home make this a perfect place to stay!
The friendly welcome by Jim and Marleen. Marleen gave us an excellent breakfast. The B & B was immaculate and our room excellent with an en suite bathroom and shower. Comfortable lounge. Good advice and menus available for local restaurants. Jim also gave us some very good advice on where to visit and routes to take on our ongoing holiday
There was almost nothing not to like about the Rose & Thistle. If we had to be very picky, there wasn't quite enough storage for cases etc in our room but we were only there for one night!
Nice comfortable, affordable, place to stay.
Hosts had great local knowledge and their info was very helpful and easy to follow we would recommend this place to anyone
Owners very hospitable and helpful Loved receiving the photo the owner took of us. House was nicely decorated and liked that the room had a private bath. Home was located close to town.
Very friendly hosts, great access to rooms, great view, close to amenities, and a tremendous breakfast. Also the souvenir photograph was very thoughtful.
Having to leave this house after only one day. Would have liked to stay longer. Also needing 200 characters to say this (Booking.com requirement)
