At this season with the temperatures as low as they are, the tiled "slab on grade" bath room floors are really cold, this we learned at our first over nighter 2 week's ago, and thought that it was too trivial for posting about.
It was colder (outside) this time,so apoun arrival and checking I asked for a second foor room. But for some reason the young fellow (same one I previously acknowledged) at the desk could barely be bothered to look up, just handed up a key (#108, ground floor & right beside the coin operated laundry, that apparently has no set hour's)
A suggestion is that before one pay's for their room, ask for a key, do a recon of it and adjoining room's facilities. If the room is freezing cold, it may take along time to heat up, then the heater (like the our's) can't be throttle back, so it;s freeze-bake, freeze-bake, with the bonus of the coin laundry operating behind the head board, as well as some high frequency buzzing eminating from the mini fridge.
Some take comment's/criticism and adapt accordingly, other's (as I believe in this case) get vindictive, food for thought.
