We have stayed at several hotels in dowtown vancouver and prefer the Rosedale. Excellent location - walking distance to everything including skytrain to airport, upscale restaurants, fast food and sporting venues. Easy bus to granville island market (take #50 from granville street). Small but useful kitchen and private sitting area if you are having guests visit your room. Rooms are long and narrrow so the only natural light is in the bedroom not the sitting area. Bathrooms are small but clean. Considering the location it's good value. Restaurant/pub is great! Lots of street noise from all hotels - so stay as high up as you can! the decor is a bit dated and beds aren't as plush as upscale hotels. All downtown hotels have street noise so the higher you go the better.

The bed and the bedroom were fantastic. We did not have any problem with noise in the bedroom area even though we backed onto a busy Vancouver street. The street at night was very quiet. The unit had a small kitchen facility which was totally adequate for us, although a little short on pots if we had chosen to cook. The linen on the beds was great but the towels were not quite comparable to other hotels we have stayed at in Vancouver. I would recommend this suite to others because of the spaciousness of the bedroom area and the comfort there, and the price was quite fair. There is a $22 parking fee however which was a surprise.

I was disappointed that because of the fact that I booked via booking.com I was denied access to the breakfast. Also, I felt "nickle and dimed" as I had to pay extra for parking ($16 a day) and extra for wifi ($5 a day), both services I have come to expect.

The location, we were there to attend the annual SunRun in Vancouver, BC We were very unhappy that we had to wait until 4:00 PM to check, especially when we had just arrived from a very long drive from Northern BC to Vancouver, BC. The room we received was not with two beds, I had reserved for 2 beds in each room, six months in advance, did not get that. The beds are getting really old, not very comfortable. Check-In should be at least at 2:00 PM no later.

I liked the location of the Rosedale. The suite was great. The restaurant closed 2 hours early due to slow business.

Dated by clean, close to running trails by water, kitchette was convienient, Rosie's is a decent family restaraunt. Suite was a bit dark with only one window at far end of suite in separate bedroom. Bit stuffy as a result. fitness center in hotel could use some attention. Add some mirrors, weights, matts and perhaps change the windows so they are opaque.

We like to stay at the hotel when we attend a hockey game as it is convenient when we come over from the Island (take the bus from the ferry and get off at Hamilton and West Georgia) and also easy to get to the game and back on foot. Also The Rosedale on Robson supports the Child Development Association in the Comox Valley every year so we like to support the hotel as well.

I had booked a Queen Suite, the first night we were put into a suite on the 3rd floor with 2 very uncomfortable singe beds, sirens, road noise and uncomfortable beds kept us up all night. In the morning I requested to change rooms stating the above, the room was changed without question, we were moved to the 8 th floor with a King bed and much quieter, however the bed was still hard and uncomfortable and we checked out tired and feeling like we had had the crap beat out of us. Its time for the hotel to up grade its beds to a better quality. Its location and facilities.

I thought the hotel was great and the staff were very friendly and courteous. The rooms were very nice and we had a lovely view of downtown and the stadium. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Vancouver. My only problem was that we received incorrect driving directions to the hotel while we were driving into Vancouver, twice. We finally stopped at a service station for a map and were able to find the hotel.

Location is good in proximity of Rogers arena We went both for drinks after the game and tried to get service for breakfast in Rosies restaraunt, After the game it took for ever to get a server to serve us, At breakfast we waited for about 10 minutes and did not get a seat and there was no one in Rosies. I have used this hotel for years and came in with my pickup truck which is over 6.6ft and they have always valeted that truck. This time they said no way and sent me looking on my own for parking. I asked for the manager and got a are you stupid attitude from him. The garbage pickup at 7:45 outside the room one floor below was also poor. I have booked one more prior to this stay but tried to move unfortunately all the other hotels are full. Bad experience in whole.

Location good walking distance to most attractions in Vancouver. Reasonably quiet. Nice restaurant. Helpful staff. Kitchen facilities ok although a bit lacking in variety of utensils. Able to eat breakfast and cook an easy meal in the room. We would stay here again.

Close to the event we were attending. Layout of room was very odd and not workable for a family very well. Borrowed a chair from the hallway for seating in living room for more than a single couch. No side tables or coffee table to set down a drink or plate. Very uncomfortable fold out bed. Small room.
