I liked the old charm of the hotel. The old evavator was really interesting. The kitchen was fully stocked and the location was only a quite 10 min. Walk to the Aquarium at Stanley Park. Staff upgraded our room for no cost and booked us in early. We are planning another trip there soon. It is a perfect location if you want to explore Stanley Park, then shop Robson all on foot. It is not "high end" but it is clean and comfortable.

I liked the feeling of being in an apt. I was very confused at check in. We arrived after hours and couldn't figure out how to get into the building or where to find our room keys. It was not very clear.

Location for Stanley park and downtown. Suite had been refurbished to a good standard. However kitchen cupboards had been painted outside but the interiors were scruffy and well worn. No air conditioning, Servicing of rooms began to early. Electric cleaners in hallway 8.30 a.m. Knocking door to service room 9.00 a.m.even opening door and looking in while we were still in night clothes. If you have a suite you expect to have a leisurely shower and breakfast etc. Hotel management apologised. However staff should be aware of occupied rooms and door notices( do not disturb etc) should be provided.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was nice and clean. I especially liked the kitchen with the microwave and big fridge, even though we did not really cook there. We received a free upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. When we booked the place, there was no indication that it was an apartment building turned into rental suites. It is not run like a hotel. The front desk was open 9-5:30 on weekdays and 9-3 on weekends. We had a late flight on Sunday, but we had to get back to the hotel before 3 pm to get our luggage out of the office before it closed. It was a major inconvenience. It should have been made very clear to all potential customers that there is only limited on-site service. If we had known about it, we would have spent a bit more money to stay at a real hotel.

The duty manager Kent was of excellent assistance to us. he made us feel welcome when we arrived and gave us tips on what to do in vancouver. We had a very late flight on the day of departure, he looked after our bags for us and when we returned in the evening let us in and allowed us to freshen up etc. before our flight. The hotel is in an excellent location. Two minutes to Stanley Park, 5 minutes walk to Denman St which had great restaurants and 15 minutes up Robson St to the main shopping area. The West End location is family friendly and very quiet. The outside of the hotel is dated but as soon as you get to your room it is very warm and cosy, with welcoming basket to get you started. Safeway is not far so you can buy your breakfast things and make full use of the kichen facilities. This is a great place for a family to stay. Would highly recommend it.

We had a great little apartment. Lots of room and of course a grand location. Very clean and everything you need for a family stay. It is a great place but folks should be prepared for no staff around. The price is great and you can't get this type of accommodation in Vancouver anywhere else that I know of. This is not a hotel, it is apartments. That is all great but be prepared because the office on the weekends closes at 3pm . You can't even call if you are running late. You will get detailed instructions about about how to get in and access your room and your key will be left on the window outside the office. As long as you are OK with renting an apartment this will be a grand stay.

We spent the time up to Christmas here and enjoyed the spaciousness of the suite and the friendliness of the staff. We celebrated our anniversary with a small party of friends and family; we were given a bottle of champagne as a gift when they found out it was our anniversary. That kind of hospitality along with allowing us to extend our stay on Christmas day due to a late checkin at our next spot, meant we would certainly return and recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a comfortable and spacious accomodation near to everything that Vancouver has to offer. There was nothing really to complain about; the furnishings were rather retro and the dishes and cutlery were also rather eclectic; but this did not in any way interfere with our enjoyment of the place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rosellen Suites. We were upgraded to the Penthouse Suite as the hotel was overbooked and we had a fabulously, relexing and decadent weekend. The staff was fabulour and so friendly. When we stepped out to do some shopping in the city and arrived back at our Suite, it truly felt like we were coming home. This is a fabulous place to stay. It's a hidden gem in the West End.

The location is good for acces to Stanley Park. You are only 1 block away from the walking paths which is nice. The hotel is a 2 dressed like a 9. It's the little things that got to me. The hotel is a converted apartment building that you have to buzz into which makes it feel a little unwelcoming. The rooms we ok but marred with cable and wireless connections, unfinished shower connections, paper thin walls and horrible wifi connectivity.

Friendly staff and access to nature, shopping and West End ambience. It was so impressive that we have decided to move there!! Enjoyed the quaint elevator PS we came to find a W E apt and were successful...Chilco and Comox.. I would recommend that you try a little harder to maintain the carpeted stairs to the parking area...BADLY Soiled... thanks Some paint touch up in the kitchen area and bathroom ???
