It was like our home away from home. It had all of the conveniences we needed for our stay. (5 family adults) It was roomy and clean. Kent and the other staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Being at the foot of Stanley Park was a real bonus as we enjoyed several wonderful walks.

When we arrived we were encouraged to get an upgrade to an updated suite , I felt that should not have been charged as an extra . That all the suites should have been the same price . The first suite we were in , had flat screen tv but it didn't look newly decorated and was freezing . We were moved without incident the next day . It was an nice area to stay in and the staff were helpful . It is was hard to find a hotel that accommodates a family of five , that dosen't cost the earth . It's and old building with dated decor but very clean . Dated decor

Our visit to Rosellen Suites arose because of the occasion of our son's receiving his Master's Degree in Christian Studies at Regent College. We used this special time to enjoy family time with our two daughters and their families as well. This facility was perfect for us to access Stanley Park with a 5 and 3 year old to work off the extra energy generated after they attended the grad events which demanded very quiet behavior. Our families appreciated having 2 bedroom suites with a hide a bed available, so we could be together to enjoy this special time. We found the service to be very friendly and efficient and really enjoyed our stay. My husband and I are the parents of the group and we had great sleeps. However, some of our family had some difficulty sleeping in the early am because of 'loud birds calling'. Please understand that we originate from the prairies, so would not want to complain, and are totally aware that this is beyond your control. We appreciated the birds we interacted with in the park and know that you can't stop Nature.

I loved the crystal glasses, attention to detail. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The proximity to Stanley Park and all the little restaurants close by make this an excellent location.

The amount of room that we had, it was like a home away from home. The underground parking was great, we new that our vehicle was safe. Everything was within walking distance of our room.

Smart, quiet neighbourhood minutes from Stanley Park, the beach and fine dinning. Friendly, hugely helpful staff and excellent facilities. Very spacious and clean rooms. An elegant older building that's well kept and looked after.

Fantastic. I loved the hotel. It is half a block from Stanley Park, which is huge and has so much to offer. It is in a quiet and restful residential part of the city, yet it is mere blocks from a full grocery store and all the fabulous yet economical restaurants one could want. I was attending a function at the convenention center and it was a lovely 20 minute stroll through parks and the waterfront. When I return to Vancouver I will not do any more searching, I would stay at the Rosellen Suites again without doubt. It was like a home, with the living room and full kitchen, and the entire staff was wonderful.

I like how the staffs treated us, very friendly and welcoming. My room is cleaned everyday. I like the old charm of the hotel, especially the elevator. The hotel is very close to Stanley Park which is great! The elevator is so small, gave me and my husband a hard time taking our things up to 4th floor. The parking space is small too. Other than that I would love to go back to this hotel.

Beautiful accommodations within walking distance to Stanley Park and Denman Street. I loved it. $15 parking charge a night is a little steep.

The location is superb; next to Stanley-Park, close to the English Bay, the Coal Harbor, Denman Street as well as in walking distance (30 minutes) to the city center. The hotel is not new, but newly refurbished, very clean, very quiet, extremely friendly staff and has all what we needed as a family with a 10 months old son like a kitchen, high-chair, child bed, washing machine and dryer. We had booked the place which was offered with a special rate via booking.com and have been upgraded from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom apartment.

We were very happy about service provided by Kent. He accomodated our request for an extra room and kept us informed even though the hotel was booked solid. We found the room to be spacious, very clean, comfortable, in short a home away from home. The beds and linen were excellent. The location could not have been better. We walked to Stanley Park, Denman for breakfast and English Bay, the Aquarium and simply enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay at the Rosellen Suites again. The hotel is not accessible. If there was a ramp it would have been easier to transport our luggage. For anyone who is disabled, the stairs would be an obstacle.

I loved everything. It is always nice to stay at Rosellen and I am always exceedingly lucky in getting upgraded for my stays with you. My suite was really cold. I couldn't find the thermostate and while I did find the knobs on the baseboard heaters, when i turned them up, nothing happened. But other than that, no complaints.

The hotel has an excellent location in Vancouver's West End. It is walking distance from Stanley Park and a couple of blocks away from the shops of Denman Street. The staff is very helpful and there is basement parking available for a fee. We were traveling with a 3 yr old and all of us had a very comfortable stay. Will stay there again when in Vancouver for a family holiday.

The suite was perfect for my family. My two young children had a room of their own and a crib was available for the baby. The master suite had an ensuite washroom. The full kitchen made making meals easy.

The location is a short walk to Stanley Park, to beaches and to great restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our suite was roomy, well furnished, clean and quiet. The cost was very reasonable, as was the cost of the secure parking garage.
