Stunning Hotel in every way. The staff were outstanding, incredibly helpful, professional and courteous. The concierge knew us by sight and greeted us each time by our names - fantastic touch! Room was fantastic for a young family and location is brilliant. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. 10 Stars!!!

I like the Georgia's location right downtown. It's a nice clean, beautiful hotel with friendly staff.

The location is too busy for a relaxing stay. If you want downtown access and instant access to shopping, and a nice hotel, you will find value here. I have stayed here many times and don't feel inspired to stay here again. Some of the staff are excellent, in fact most are, but I didn't feel satisfied with how they dealt with noise issues. I was trying to avoid noise of street Saturday night because an event was taking place outside Vancouver Art Gallery so they moved us to a suite overlooking howe street which was quieter, but neglected to tell me about the Sun Run which was happening that morning right at Howe and Georgia. We were up with 40 thousand runners at 7am and the lack luster cover band that was pumping out "My Sharona" for inspiration (?). I realize they can't control their outside environment, and I guess that's my problem. If you're on business, I'm sure it's a perfect hotel, but as a relaxing getaway, it has never fit the bill because it can be busy and loud there. Sun Run or no Sun Run.

The staff in general was exceptionally helpful and professional. Especially the concierge, Adam's and the chauffeur, Jim. Main reason we are , having canceled a booking at l'Hermitage.

The wifi system was archaic and they did not have duvet covers,just layers of sheets

Agree the extra detail given to accommodating young children and making it easier to holiday with them was amazing, we've never stayed at a hotel that made us feel so welcome with a baby. The rooms and bathrooms are lovely and I loved the understated glamour of this old building in the centre of downtown .

The rooms were very generous in size; the bathroom was perfect (size and conveniences/appointments); the cleaning staff did a great job and were unobtrusive.

The bed was too soft and the room would not cool down at night to the temperature that was set on the thermostat.

This hotel was fantastic and the staff are exceptional. We were on our honeymoon and received a complimentary bottle of Champagne from the hotel which was a great touch. Rooms are well equipped and have lovely spacious bathrooms, would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

The service was absolutely unbelievable. I've stayed at many high-end hotels in the past and I have to say this is by far the best hotel I have stayed at. I couldn't believe that everyone knew my name and remembered it for the length of my stay.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, the bathroom really takes it to another level. The full bath tub and shower made my stay very comfortable. The room is a perfect size for a couple although I stayed alone. There is definitely enough room for two. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. Also, I have to mention that the food in the hotel's lounge was absolutely incredible. Having eaten at many high-end restaurants in the past, I can seriously say that it was some of the tastiest food I've ever eaten and the price was remarkable. They have their own smoker in the kitchen. I ate the Smoked Sable Fish 3 times during my stay, for $36 I couldn't have asked for better.

The facility was elegant and peaceful. The staff was courteous yet warm and friendly. Our room was pretty, clean and felt plush.

There was nothing to dislike

The Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. They think ahead and suggest things that would help. The room service is very good. The rooms are well appointed and quiet. Beds are very comfortable with good linens. Loved the pillows so much that on a previous stay there I bought both the linens and the pillows. Hotel was renovated in the last year? or so and has been done beautifully, it has retained its charm yet has all the comforts you need, including complementary shoe shine, wonderful in room espresso machine and a choice of delivered newspapers. It is my go to hotel for downtown Vancouver.

The sense of style. The natural approach to service - proactive but not 'fake'. The absolutely comfortable bed and lovely shower. Could use a bit more room to 'work' (i.e. laptop etc.) for a couple but we worked it out. We would not stay anywhere else in Vancouver - this was our first trip with the idea of leaving Asia (where we live) and seeing Madonna. So we settled on Vancouver and we enjoyed the hotel.

There is nothing we did not like. I'd say the bar area is too small. No complaints - we just had a small wait to get a seat. And we did not mind sitting 'near' others. It was more that we had invited a local to come and have a drink with us at the bar and the wait (though short and well explained) wasn't ideal. Seems to be a space or design decision. We loved the card we had by the bed the first night from Marlene Dietrich - we saved it. Would have liked a couple more - they seem very special (from other celebrities of course who stayed at the hotel). That's it!

Staff members were very friendly, helpful and professional. Room was lovely, fully appointed. Hawksworth was a revelation!

This hotel has created a new set of expectations for me that I fear will not often be met!

Fabulous experience if you can afford the price. Top class service, lovely ambience, our room was delightful. Staff excellent. The Reflections Bar was enjoyable, as was the 1920's bar fir cocktails in the main lobby area. We did not have opportunity to eat in the main restaurant but it has a good reputation. The cafe attached to the main lobby dead some nice breakfast options.

Our only issue was that the free wi-fi access was limited to one log-in per room, rather than allowing each of us to access the wi-fi simultaneously. If you wanted to download larger files you had to buy faster access at something of a premium cost, this should be made clearer when booking especially for business clients.

The hotel was recently renovated and the renovations are gorgeous. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable. The renovations to the common areas are beautiful and maintain the style of the property. Finally, the best part of the experience is the staff. They are gracious, accomodating, and helpful. They attempt to anticipate your needs and made any stay truly enjoyable. You are well taken care of here.
