The room and bathroom was neat and clean, but it would have been less disappointing if the room smelled better.
The strong chemical smell of the room. Although we booked in advance the room was stuffy and smelled musty. After a long day, the reception was very cold and no account or receipt could be printed.
I like nothing !
I woke up in the morning covered in itchy spots . My Dr. diagnosed the spots as bed bug bites . Bed bug bites are not only disgusting but by far the itchiest , most insane form of irritation I have ever felt . The health unit has been notified . The entire stay was far from what the pictures and write ups portrayed .
Do Not stay in this motel. Staff were very rude, no manners at all. The towels were dirty. The customer service was poor. When we infotmed the staff about clogging toilet, the staff ( midage male) called us lier and staretd yelling at us. We told him the toilet clogged because of toilet paper, but he was telling us, that's not possible and we are not telling the truth. The morning of that day we discoverd bites of bed bugs on my girlfriend leg. We don't recomend this motel, because of bed bugs and un uncivilized staff.
It had good Wifi.
Too little,no ice machine(sounds petty, but they should have said something on the website) and was way too over-priced for such a small space. Will not be going back, ever.
Where do I start...To begin with, I was charged more than what was quoted by booking.com...the place was so scuzzy looking that I made my husband pull up the sheets to check for bed bugs and I did not find any....there were not enough towels, no shower or conditioner for my hair...When I wanted ice - it was not available...No coffee maker to make coffee in the morning...Overall, it was not worth the $80/night that I paid.
The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Nicely updated for an older building.
Not much parking.
- Staff - rude, unable to answer questions properly - Storm doors on each door - loud and unnecessary - Rooms dirty and unknown when cleaned last - Wifi unreliable - Close to a strip join, so who know what rooms have been used for
Staff cared about the customers
For how much the room cost, it was very nice. Most definitely still a motel, but it was a nice motel. Brand new modern bathroom, flat screen wall-mounted tv, microwave, mini fridge, and functioning AC. The sheets were soft, and the bed was alright.
The staff was a bit incompetent when we checked in. I showed him the Booking.com reservation which was 2 queen rooms for one night, and he kept messing it up saying it was 1 room for 2 nights. After correcting him 3 times and pretty much shoving the email on my phone in his face, he finally got it right. The WiFi required a password, and that wasn't provided to us at check-in (we also didn't think to ask for it). By the time we returned to the hotel at 2am, we didn't want to bother the staff. So ask for the WiFi password when checking it. There were no glasses/cups of any sort. Only one large towel, so we had to share. There were pairs of everything else (face cloths, soaps, etc), but only one large towel. The batteries in the TV remote were dead so we had to replace.
The location was great since we were close to Hamilton. The rooms were small but clean.
After three demands for TV coverage we gave up. We wanted to watch the D-Day news that day. When we switched on TV, the screen was filled with an unsolicited porno scene. No other channels, message was poor antenna reception. When I complained about this unwanted porno issue and no TV, nothing was done that night upon our return, except the porno. The next day I complained again, but nothing was done for the evening. Same message: poor antenna reception. Nothing had been done and no apologies.
Comfy bed and a clean room at a good price.
the location was good for what we needed. the bathroom was recently updated, beds were ok.
old windows that did not have locks, the carpet had many stains but they keep it clean. very strong bleach smell, which means it was cleaned but it was too strong.
the area to other faclities
lack of service between 5am and 10am
location bathroom owner is polite
air condition was noisy carpet unclean room looks unclean,
good place for the money. Bed & shower were excellent but the walls were quite thin.
There did not have a glass for water.
They didn't give us the wifi password an the bathroom floor was so cold you couldn't stand on it
Cleanliness and comfortable nights sleep.
Optional X-rated television programming that I accidently turned on and got an earful from my wife. Please label the TV remotes.
It was a very quiet setting behind the office. Very clean and tidy. The room was just the right size for 2 adults. The bed were very comfortable. The pillows were excellent. I was going to look for the brand name and I forgot. I would recommend the hotel.
The fan was a little to load and fast. would have liked a slower speed.
We liked the close proximity to Flamboro Downs.
There was no coffee machine and although there was a TV in the room it didn't seem to have any choice of stations to watch other than news.
was a clean room, clean bathroom, and fairly quite.
Heading system is right beside bed and loud.
The temperature was adjustable to what I want.
The tv only had a few stations.
