Score from 43 reviews Excellent
It's not fancy but it's clean and the staff is excellent.
Quick check in, very clean room, windows open, pub next door with good food, easy parking
Bed was uncomfortable
Great value Close to everything I needed yet a little off the beaten path Staff was great Room was very clean Nice deck outside to sit and relax on Great place to eat right next door
I loved the incredible view from our window of the ocean & boats. I loved the fact that the pub/restaurant "Buccaneer" was walking distance away. Our place was clean & modern, even though the outside looked old. I loved the quiet!
Nice pillows, close to town and walkable. Nice and clean with lovely towels as well.
Not a great price for an older property.
Beautiful location on the water and within walking distance of a nice marsh.
Definitely a bit dated and smelled of stale smoke.
We had a view of the water and we were close to a marina. We were also close to a bird sanctuary with a nice path through it. We were close to town and it was quite easy to find.
If the curtains were more like blackout curtains we would have been able to sleep in or longer.
Nice location - Older motel but clean. Good for a one nite stay.
smokers across the hall from us
no A/C; uncomfortable beds
Limited staff hours at reception Not worth the money
The bed was really comfortable. Didn't sag. Close enough to walk to town. Great pub next door.
The geese were really loud. There was only 1 little fan. The bedspread could have been cleaner. On the whole it was okay. Security lock on door not working.
no air conditioning
It was close to everything.
There was no air conditioning in the rooms. And they were very out date.
Parking for a 3 ton truck
easy to find, nice location next to a decent pub
noisy ducks in the middle of the night
Quiet location, no outside noise, which is nice. Front-desk staff was friendly/pleasant. We like that we're able to control heat in the room, and beds are comfortable. Always have a great sleep there!
We were disappointed to find old stale coffee at the bottom of our coffeemaker (so the glass pot hadn't been through a dishwasher/very unsanitary/gross!) and also noticed the seams around the bathroom faucets were dirty. They need to improve on the cleanliness. Other issue is that the fan automatically comes on in the bathroom when light is turned on, which is noisy & annoying at night.
Very friendly staff; room was clean and adequate for our overnight stay; nice view
Was somewhat off the beaten track; buildings and furnishings showed wear
This is an old facility that has not been kept up. Walls that have been patched and not painted. Couches that you disappear in when you sit down. Old and tired. It would be one thing if we paid $60 for it . . . . . but $133!!! I've stayed in some very nice places for that kind of money. I've rarely stayed in Canada. Maybe this is what you get for this kind of money.
