We had a one bedroom suite with a kitchen. It was like staying in an appartment rather then a hotel. It gave us the freedom and space to entertain, eat in or out and walk to everything that we wanted to see. The rooms are starting to show their age. A few upgrades would solve that problem.

Home like feeling in the rooms. They are large and have comfortable furniture in them. I liked the little cookies with fruit filling. However the internet did not work while we were there. The staff transferred us to techinical support and they could not even pull up the internet to work in it so that needs to be fixed soon when the internet is so important to all of us. The internet did not work the whole time we were there.

Close to shopping, downtown, and ferry. Good food. Old building, can hear people from other rooms. Sliding door from room above sounds like a train going by. Vibration from people walking around above caused the ceiling light fixture to rattle. Bed was too hard to sleep on.

Great location - close to ferry terminal, so for "walk ons" it is very convenient. Close to government buildings and downtown. Staff friendly and accomodating. Free shuttle service is wonderful service - enabled us to go to Craigdarroch Castle. Quiet. Clean. We'll definitely make a return trip!

The service was wonderful and the suite we were upgraded to was more than we ever imagined. It had everything we could have wished for and the comfort was just what we needed after a long day of packing up. This lovely hotel was a grat escape for us. The bed was extremely comfortable. We received excellent service from everyone. Thank you! We loved the whole experience.

We were only spending one night in Victoria so were happy to have a hotel where we could walk around the harbour and enjoy such a beautiful area. We found some silverfish in the bathroom which is the reason I marked "fair" in the cleanliness part of the survey, otherwise the rest of the room was very clean.

The location is within walking distance to most points of interest, shopping, and fine restaurants. The hotel provides a shuttle for guests as well. We were shuttled to and from chinatown for dinner! The suites are lovely, clean, and comfortable. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. We would stay there again!

Very friendly staff. Staff was very helpful as this was our first trip to Victoria and they giveus very helpful hints on what to see and where to eat. I was hot and stuffy in room when we checked in. With no A/C it remained so until early evening.

We got upgraded to a suite that was really nice. A lot of space and a kitchenette. Really useful as breakfast was not included. The location is very good, close to the city area, but in a very calm neighbourhood. A bit old fashion, breakfast not included.

The gift shop closes @ 5 pm - who will get there if your in the city around?? Some hotels have at least the front desk operating the gift shop after hours the restaurant closes by 8 pm, if you arrive by 7.30 @ night it is not possible to eat there and in the city every restaurant closes also by 8 pm........not a great service when the guests are hungry around the world ( outside Canada ) the hotel restaurants have open at least till 10pm, if not longer and mostlikely there have a bar too

The serving staff at Jonathan's Restaurant were especially good - we had breakfast there each morning and found Kelly very welcoming and attentive to our needs. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will most likely return.

Small enough to be friendly. Large enough to have all the ameneties. I appreciated the thoughtful touches in the kitchen and the great beds. Find another chef for the kitchen.... I realize it is not your restaurant. A good restaurant would make this a perfect place.
